Check your order status page, should say it below the order details in a red colour (hard to see at first).

    EDIT: Example below.

I can confidently say that no 512gb's were produced with the first batch - I don't know why. I ordered on March 12, 12:48 p.m.; waiting for 4/29. Hopefully they won't change it again.

My thoughts are that they aren't able to source the 512GB hard drive.

I was told by the support that the 512gb versions will be shipped next week and that only the 128gb and 256gb have been shipped.

Hopefully that means it's currently on production.

This is so fail, but did anyone else here just get the New Razer Blade expecting to catch up on older games? TBH - I'm planning to finish Final Fantasy 7 on it... it'll save battery life when I travel...

I'm hoping it gets here before I finish dark souls and start on dark souls 2. That doesn't seem highly likely at this point though.

I called CS after emailing them and getting no response ... I travel for work (Out days/weeks at a time) so I really needed a more definitive date other than "early May" to make arrangements for someone to sign for the package. It seems that since I ordered on 4/8 that it would likely be shipping with the second batch on 4/29. Which I'm hoping for, as I leave for work again on the 4th, and wont be back until the following week. This means, hopefully, I get my 128GB Razer Blade and can use it on my trip!

The lack of an extra SSD slot is a severe disappointment especially for a $2000 gaming laptop when Titanfall alone is 50GB. I'm on the fence about canceling my order and getting a GS60. I could live without the GS60's HDD when I thought the Blade would have a second slot but now I don't know. I didn't spend $2600 CAD on a ultra portable laptop just to carry a external HDD. At least if it was mSATA there would be some 1TB options but M.2 just seems like a downgrade in almost every way. It's like Razer purposely screws up one part of the Blades up really bad just so people will upgrade the next year. The screen was enough to keep me away from the 2013 Blade and the storage this year isn't much better of a compromise.

On a positive note, I do like the cooling system. It looks like they put the copper rails directly on the chips which I'm guessing is how it is able to handle the heat better than the 2013 which has the aluminum plates below the rails. I've actually been hoping they would do this ever since I saw the guts of the 2013 Blade for the first time.

While I understand where you're coming from, in some places you don't have to lock your doors and you can leave keys your cars. Some places you're more likely to get killed by lightning than have anything stolen:thumbsup:

*I wanted to add, a lot of times you can tell them to leave it in a garage or entryway, that they can pull shut behind them and its locked up nicely.

Still not sure if I'm going to cancel or not but at least I found a good ruggedized USB 3.0 HDD with fast read/writes For under $100 that would look good with the Blade. It is available in 512GB and 1TB configurations. I figured I'd post it as an option for those like me who are disappointed with the storage options. Enjoy guys!

Shipped today? CS said mine was supposed to ship today, but I never got anything. And then I asked again (in another ticket), and they said they don't have an ETA on the batch i'm in. I ordered the same config as you.

When did you order?? I ordered my 256 on the 17th of March and still no shipping confirmation or basically anything. Stuck on 'order in process.' Sincerely worried.

They aren't even answering my tickets.

*edit* They just answered my ticket. Said estimated shipping period is 3-4 weeks. For a product I ordered so long ago? On the fifth day after you were able to pre-order? This is ridiculous!

Fedex tried to deliver today at 1pm, and still at work so obviously i missed it. Scheduled for pickup tomorrow morning, will let you guys know.

256gb ordered within hours of initial announcement.

Any requests for games or benchmarks? I have firestrike extreme, and quite a few games. First on the list will be titanfall.

Run crystal disk Mark to test SSD throughput. I expect it'll just be ~500/s read and somewhere between 250-500/s write though depending on what they used.

In theory it could yes. They really have no way to know you did it though. Those sticker don't mean anything, they can fall off on their own, happened many times on me and never had any warranty issues. As long as you don't break anything or cause issues, then you should be fine.

Ah, good call; yes, I see now it says "Ontario, CA (US)".

But more annoying is that I ordered from Razer's Canadian store, and they told me nothing about import fees, yet I was just called by FedEx who said they'd need over $145CAD at delivery in fees  Going to call Razer on Monday morning to complain.

Edit: Bah. Dug into the FAQ on Razer's site and found the statement:
Still, I feel they could have made this more prominent in the checkout process :O\

Help me out a bit guys. Amazon pushed my date out to June 6th to 24th.

I need to get my laptop before the 30th of May. Should I just order from Razer and cancel my amazon order? Ideas, advice?

Razer puts little sticker covers over the bottom screws for aesthetics. Most of the time they are not able to be reattached after removing.

Even if they did that, they have a release date of 5/23 and they could still push it back. So it depends if you want to risk the chance or not.

I have a 512GB Razer Blade on order direct from Razer and live in Canada too (Ontario). Did you have to pay GST and PST as well? I was expecting that I might get hit for tax, but as computers from the US are duty free, I wasn't expecting customs fees. This could get even more expensive FAST! Thanks for any info.
