I'm going to guess that it's a Razer branded G-sync monitor.
-
the NDA for the new NVIDIA cards ends on the 11th so its possible this is a new laptop or tablet offering. hope so. just bought an Aorus X7 which is as slim and light as the Blade Pro but with 765ms in SLI. can still return it if Razer has something great up its sleeve tomorrow.

If that's the case, It's pretty much a given that we will see a new Blade or Edge.
-
New Edge would be awesome. But I highly doubt it. Razer's reluctance to support the first gen with sufficient accessory stock makes me feel like sales were not too great. It is also possible that the reluctance was due to jumping the gun on developing gen 2 before its release. I'm still guessing its a blade refresh, maybe with high-res display. I will definitely be waiting though. If only it was a slimmer gen 2 with pen input and dGPU it would be my dream device... (Sadly I don't see Razer ever putting a stylus in their tablets)

If that isn't Edge refresh , GDC is just around the corner March 17 and Razer can show us some new product like next gen. gaming tablet.
-
well the hint here is of a glowing razer logo, either the back of a laptop or the back of a tablet... so. i'm thinking laptop. seeing is believing. maybe better display? ips? higher resolution for blade pro and blade 14?

I believe another laptop, but we could be surprised.

It will probably be just announcing 800M series in the new RAZER line of notebooks.

Razer just announced the new 14" Blade Ultra:
- New touchscreen IPS display with a resolution of 3200x1800 ! 262ppi. Highest resolution on a laptop ever.
- New Geforce GTX 870M with 3GB of DDR5 RAM
- SSD storage from 128GB with optional 256GB or 512GB, and 8GB of DDR3L RAM
- It's just 0.7" thin (thinner than the Edge!) and weighs just 4.1lbs
- Starts at $2,199.

But this new Blade is insane. The Verge says they've seen this new Blade run Sleeping Dogs at 3200x1800 at 50-60fps. The new GTX870m seems like a very very capable graphics chip. And running 1080p games at ultra seems doesn't seem like a chore either:
1080p resolution, Ultra settings. Benchmarks provided by Razer.
Razer's new Blade might be the perfect gaming laptop | The Verge -
Don't really get what's so great about the Razer Blade. They are way overpriced for what they are. If shaving off a few pounds and a couple of inches to a gaming notebook is worth an extra $1000 I'm in the wrong business. Gaming notebooks I really wouldn't consider a "niche" market anymore as the popularity of these items have blown up. Granted this has a nice display, But it's only a matter of time before Clevo, MSI and ASUS all offer these options at much cheaper prices.

Good thing a new blade was announced because my tablet has arrived. Any advice as what to do before I start loading games and other programs? Options on going to Win 8.1 if the updater allows it?

I am unfamiliar with win 8 so I may hold off on the upgrade. Is there a complete guide on how to do the upgrade? Where do I get the recovery USB, Razer?
Edit: I now see you meant the upgrade guide on the Razer site. Is it worth the upgrade for most people? -
well can still hope for a 1080p Edge pro with an 850M? would crush the 640M LE

Disapointing that there was no new edge announcement, but i am happy that they are releasing a laptop with touchscreen abilities, as that is one of the main reason i prefer tablets (touch screen devices are alot easier to use on public transport.
Now i have to decide is it worth using my Razer edge still (which i enjoy) or do i sell up and by thr 14inch laptop. Tough choice, shame they didnt make the ability to twist the screen so that you could hold it like a large tablet) -
I will also buy Razer Edge next week , but Razer support told me that they couldn't send USB Recover Stick to my country only if i have address in USA or Canada.
Is it possible to copy all data from Tablet SSD to regular flash drvie and if something goes wrong to restore all information from it ? -

I dont think this should be illegal since the edge has a legal cd key and we shouldn't be forced to buy another retail copy of windows since the price of the edge included windows 8.
Hope this helps.
Also don't expect any help from razor support they are arrogant and rude and unwilling to listen. Almost like their CEO -

thank you for your support i will try to copy all data from Razer Edge ssd to usb flash drive.
I couldn't find docking station , but i intend to try this product EVGA UV Plus+ 39 . -

I REALLY want a 1080P tablet with a dGPU and Pen Input.
I really don't understand Razer's complete reluctance to talk or do anything with the Edge. I'd rather they just discontinue it at this point. It's old and underperforming. No new announcements makes me concerned that they'll be no Gen 2... -
Hey I just got a razer edge pro and want to reinstall windows so I can start fresh whenever I need. I have a usb with windows on it and all the drivers downloaded. But I cant for the life of me get it to boot from the usb. Just wondering the best method of doing that. oh and is there still a problem with upgrading to windows 8.1? I did and it seems to be fine once I updated the drivers. Thanks ahead of time.

I haven't used WiDi in a few months, but now it seems to have stopped working. I've only been doind the Windows updates (*->8.1, etc), but nothing else.
This used to work and worked quite well, but now it seems to have stopped working. Is there anything I need to do manually?
Details:
Intel HD 4000: 9.17.10.2932 ("Update driver" from Device Mangler reports this is the best driver.)
Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center (6.2.9200)

Intel Widi: Version 4.0.18.0
Netgear PTV2000
Launch "Intel(R) WiDi" from desktop icon.
Pops dialog "This program has compatability issues..."
click "Run the program without getting help"
(I also tried the help from here as well on an several trials
-> one time it brought me to a webpage "The article you are attempting to retrieve is not available in this Portal."
-> next time, Support Knowledge Base
I downloaded and ran this update, at end showed "Your graphics driver has been customized by the OEM. Please go to the manufacturer's support site to update the driver
clicked link on dialog "Show me required updates" this showed:
-Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software Version 16.7.0
-Intel(R) WiDi will be removed
I clicked "install updates" from here, it did a web update of the WiFi driver it appears and ended with "Installation Failed"
with this URL: Intel(R) Redirect which brought me to a page that said:
Article #2591
This computer does not meet the Intel® WiDi system requirements.
We are sorry, but this computer doesn't meet the system requirements for Intel® WiDi. Check System requirements for Intel® WiDi for details on the system requirements.
I clicked on the link "System requirements for Intel® WiDi"
Checked over hardware list (i7 processor - i7-3517U (good), Intel HD 4000 (good), Intel Advanced N 6235 (good), Windows 8.1 (good)), not sure what I am missing.
)
Click "Scan for available adfaptors"
Click on adaptor found (Which I named Bedroom. Signal is all 5 bars).
Click Connect.
Status shows connecting.
TV shows "Connecting to Intel WiDi..."
I get one of two responses:
One or more of the required Intel WiDi audio devices has been
disabled or removed. Intel WiDi cannot stream without these audio
devices. Please enable these audio devices or reinstall Intel WiDi.
Unable to connect to remote display.
Please try restarting the application. If the problem persists, please restart the adapter or
computer.

unchecked Enable USB over Intel Widi
unchecked Enable Intel WiDi for DNLA Digital Media Players. -

I'm looking for the Keyboard dock. Does anyone have one they would like to sell? Please let me know if you do.

How Razer is reinventing the gaming PC, one insane project at a time | Polygon
"It's shipping well," he said. "I think it's still on Amazon at this point in time. I think from spec-wise, it's still the world's most powerful tablet and we've been really looking really closely at it in terms of future iterations.
"But we're not talking about that right now." -
thanks for your help, i will get the new blade cause it fits my needs best.

So after some extended use with my pro and gamepad I am definitely satisfied with the product and will be keeping it. Now it's time for me to take this puppy out of the house and on the road to fulfill its potential and the whole point of my purchase. All I have is a 17 inch soft sleeve case meant for a laptop which I am currently using since it's big enough to fit the tablet with the gamepad attached, however the analog sticks and triggers are not well protected to my satisfaction. There is also a lot of wasted space being that the tablet with the gamepad while 17 inches long it's not tall or thick enough to fit entire case. Are there any cases available specifically designed to fit the razer edge tablet and gamepad accessory together while offering protection so analog sticks and triggers don't click and move inside?

It worked in Tokyo but then just died on me. So annoyed. ..not only is it a really terribly functioning keyboard, but it completely dies on me. I packed only one bag so I didn't bring my logitech bluetooth keyboard because I figured I needed the protection of the keyboard cover. The only plus is that I got some great gaming in on the 14 hour flight with the controller. -

I opened my Edge and pluging of the RAzer logo led, and the second was i change the heat sink paste. i use a noctua nt-h1 heat sink paste and omg.
before: 3D Benchmark, WoW = 85-100° Celsius
after: 60 - 65° celsius max
its amazing, i love my edge now, e nice point is the fan has to work lesser and no razer logo, so the Batterie can hold longer
Its so awesome, the benchmark runs, and the fan stops do work because it has no reason to start wuhuuu :
