Yeah...I mean why not let us know ahead of time that they're going to sell out? I really want to love Razer but not being able to get the keyboard dock and still having an almost worthless edge pro is pretty lame to me. All would be forgiven if we could get a limited run for another month or so. It's still the world's most powerful tablet for gaming, right?

Yea I sold it. I wasn't using it much and someone offered me an insane price for the bundle. I pretty much got more than I paid for everything over a year ago so I couldn't really refuse. It sucks though because I know I'll probably never have my hands on another one especially since I had all the accessories. I'm hoping Razer decides to come out with an Edge 2 so I can redeem myself lol.

Tried to boot my edge and all I get is the razer logo. Any idea how to hard reset it? I held down the power button but got nothing. Right now gonna let the battery die.

Should have posted this before, but I am selling both of my Razer Edge Pro 256gb and EVERY single accessory released, including the docks, all in separate auctions on eBay. They end tonight and tomorrow, wanted the community to get a crack at them.

    Using NvidiaInspector

Windows 8 - Updated Official BIOS - Latest Nvidia Beta Driver Overclock Workaround

First you open nvidiainspector and click "Create Clocks Shortcut"

Then you modify the Target Path in Properties to whatever specs you want with the format below:

Ok this is exactly what the path in the shortcut for the Overclock should be

    Overclock:

    C:\nvidiaInspector\nvidiaInspector.exe -forcepstate:0,0 -setGpuClock:0,1,1000 -setMemoryClockOffset:0,0,100

    That's for 1000/1000 Mhz
If you want 950/1000 MHz you change what values XXXX are to 950 "-setGpuClock:0,1,XXXX"

If you want to up the Memory Clocks just do it with the slider in nvidiainspector.

    Default:

    C:\nvidiaInspector\nvidiaInspector.exe -forcepstate:0,16 -setMemoryClockOffset:0,0,0

Sets the GPU clock to back to default GPU Clock to 500 MHz and the Memory Clock to 900 MHz

Think of the shortcuts as Overclock and Default for ON and OFF

i can reach 850 too with injustice game for example but alien is no go it simply tortures both gpu and cpu since they both use same heatsink temp goes way up. so in order to play this game with good oc i need extra cooling. did you tried your oc with ailen ? and can you share your temps what was average and max ? seems you got lucky with your gpu no wonder you like it but not everyone is so lucky

I removed the backplate of the Tablet, this give me 5-10 ºc less and the Tablet is always on the gamepad dock.
The max temp is about 75-80ºc.

weird i have nearly same temperatures and removing backplate actually does worse since it makes air circulation impossible. btw did anybody tried to change in game color settings default looks washed out is there a solution for that or is it just a bad panel ? i saw in the thread somebody tried ro change panel for better one did it work ?

ok just put akasa ram heatsinks both on ram and gpu heatsink and temps dropped by 5 C , now i can reach 820/1050 on alien also i can officially confirm that voltage drops from 0.950 to 0.850 with pci exp line dropping from 2.0 to 1.1 after switching to battery. that clearly explains much worse oc performance while playing on battery don't know if there is work around about that could be a real life saver

Best way to go is to recover with our USB and then update, and we'll take care of you. All Razer products have lifetime phone and email support. Warranty is where you'll pay for service.
Shoot us an email and we'll go from there.

just recieved my ipega 9023 which docks tablet like razer edge controller and guess what it fits :) you connect to razer via bluetooth also is very light and also has its own battery which can go up to 20 hours. main problem is that some games don't recognize it but the ones that allow key mapping work perfectly well so whoever didn't get original controller can try this one

Only the Nvidia 640m LE can be overclocked with MSI Afterburner or Nvidia Inspector.
    The CPU can't be overclocked.

So there appears to be warranty support even though the Edge is EOLed.

I bought a refurbished Edge Pro with Gamepad from Woot.com. The gamepad failed. The gamepad battery is still recognized, and the pass-thru power adapter works, but the gamepad functionality is totally gone. The vibration and button lighting no longer function, and it's not recognized as a game controller device. I contacted Razer Support via the web form. After clarifying the serial number and my contact info in email, I got a RMA number. I am sending it in. I'll update this thread when I know more.

Hi. I bought my gamepad bundled with an Edge Pro 128 GB from Woot.com in July, 2014. FYI I've seen woot sales after that without the gamepad.

Drats. Too bad I didn't get the reply about the firmware update before I sent my 'pad in. Thanks for the info. It would have been nice to fix it on my own with the hassle of packing it up and shipping it off.

Got an email saying the gamepad is on its way back to me. Kudos to Razer for a relatively painless RMA process.

EDIT: Arrived safe and sound. FWIW New unit/different serial number. Thanks Razer.
