you should have got a driver disc even though you didnt have a OS

    drivers you need Software Upgrade

download the user manual and they will show which order they have to be loaded.

Is there any way to reverse the effects that the hotkey driver has on the windows power management? Even after uninstalling, it seems to have left its mark somewhere by changing some values in the registry. Now my i7 4702mq throttles to 1.4Ghz on battery after waking from a sleep and does not unlock until I reboot, where it will throttle again if I sleep.

I have Hotkey 6.0100 installed, the Problem is when I enable Hotkey the Ghosting from the keyboard is terrible, I mean I cannot even type in a simple Password taking My time, I cannot find a fix to the solution anywhere after exhaustive Searching.

Any Help or Advice would be Greatly Appreciated

I'm having some troubles with the hotkey driver as well... Every so often, when I'm not touching my laptop, a volume notification will pop up on the top left of the screen for a second. But again, I'm nowhere near my laptop. I've tried a clean install and even disabled the "K/B indicator" to no avail.

    Hi,
I've been having a BSOD, 521fbf80 problem. I was wondering if updating drivers would fix this and if so, what drivers? I apologize in advance, I'm not very techsavvy.

Install the hotkey driver, should have come in a cd or download it from clevo's website.

I would encourage you to update all your drives. Especially your graphics driver...Install Intel first then your discrete graphics driver.

    Hi guys,

Just ordered a Clevo W230ST, which should arrive in the next two weeks.

I'm planning on downloading drivers etc in advance, just to speed things along.

Am I right to download the drivers on page one of this thread, or the ones from the Sager website ( custom gaming laptops - Welcome to Sager Notebooks then click the correct link)?

The ones on the Clevo website only apply for windows 8 apparently, and I'm going to be installing windows 7

Also, I see lots of talk of BIOS updates etc (I know there's a BIOS thread but none of the ones I saw seem to support W230STs). Does anyone have a link to the latest/best one that I should be using? I'm not really looking to OC or anything, but if there are any general gains to be made by updating the BIOS, I might at well. Theres a link at the bottom of the first post of this http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/416916-clevo-bios-thread.html for a W230st BIOS, is that it?

    Thanks!

I have a P150EM with Windows 8.1 a HD7970M/HD4000 and I'm having some issues with blurry screens after updating to windows 8.1. I suspect a problem with the video drivers.

Where to get the newest drivers for this combo? Date of my current drivers is 6. December 2013 version 13.251.0.0.

Did you try to update the HD4000 drivers from intel? They could also be responsible for the problems.

I think this ( Hotkey AP (2.28.33) for Windows 8.1 64-bit version.) is what you're looking for.

Go to: CLEVO - Download -- select P37xSM-A as the model (there are 3 listed with P377SM-A as the last one), select ALL drivers and click the search button.

Where can I download the latest Fingerprint reader for Windows 8.1 for the Sager NP8130 laptop? The authentec website is now gone as it was bought by apple so there's nowhere to download the drivers/software.

actually, when using win8.1 u dont need to install anything from authentec anymore. just make sure to enable the biometric service and switch on the fingerprint logon option via the charms bar / pc settings. the rest windows takes care of all by itself@driver install and fingerprint sensor activation :)

Yes, for the fingerprint windows sign on you don't need to install any software. What I was actually wondering about is the software used to save website password and all other stuff. It is really pretty handy.

aaah ok, my bad. tbh i never really used the original software for anything more than windows logon :)

just figured out at some point after upgrading to win8/8.1 that i wasnt able to use the authentec software suite anymore, for anything :p

I'm running into an issue with the Hot Key drivers for the headphone initializer on an NP-8258 running Windows 8.1. Whenever I come out of sleep mode, the audio out is disabled. It's exactly the situation described here:
    https://superuser.com/questions/784...er-screen-is-locked-or-sleep-mode-windows-8-1

I updated the driver to v2.34.49 from the Sager website, but it's still not working properly. I also tried the "stable solution" described in the above link but it also isn't working. Has anybody else encountered this and been able to fix it?

Chipset then GPU drivers, then it really wont matter the order. That does appear to be the newest one, it will also be on the drivers disc included with the computer.

If you ordered an OS with the computer all the drivers should already be installed for you.

I didnt order an OS with computer so I'll need to do everything manually.... I read some posts earlier that there are problems with sobwoofer? Does it also concern p170SM-a model? Intel graphics drivers first or Nvidia? Does it matter? :)
    Thx in advance

I havent heard of any common problems with the subwoofer.

Intel graphics first then Nvidia, it does matter to avoid errors.

Is this the right place to ask about audio driver issues? If so, has any one else encountered humming/buzzing noises from the audio jack on the NP 8268-S GTX980m?

It's really strange, only once I put the computer under heavy load, (play Skyrim or any other video game) will the buzzing begin to get louder. It may be a ground loop

issue, because it stops buzzing when I disconnect it from the charging port. Has any one else experienced this/ know the solution to it?

    P.S.
When I use my external sound card Alesis IO2 the buzzing is gone, yet I can't select it as a default device to work with the Sound Blaster x-fi 13.

Have several critical issues with the Intel HD4600 Graphics Drivers including the latest 15.36.7.3960.

    System Details: Sager NP2670, Intel 4th Gen i7 2.8Ghz 4810MQ, 16GB RAM, Samsung Evo 256GB SSD, Win 8.1 Pro 64 bit, latest updates/BIOS/drivers installed.

    1. System crashes on resume from sleep.

    2. USB ports remain powered during sleep.

    3. Video stutters intermittently while playing, while CPU, GPU, and RAM usage remain highly underutilized and loading/buffering is complete.

On crash in resuming from sleep, Event Viewer provides the following:

"The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."
    Log Name: System
    Source: Kernel-Power
    Event ID: 41
    Level: Critical
    User: SYSTEM
    OpCode: Info
    Task Category: (63)
    Keywords: (2)

These issues are isolated to the graphics driver, as they do not occur in Safe Mode, or with the default basic VGA adapter driver in Windows. They are also present in previous versions of the driver.

Have tried all manner of uninstalling all graphics drivers, in safe mode, rebooting after each change, and cleanly re-installing different versions of the driver, to no avail.

    Hello
    Owner of w230st
Going through the drivers and yup this is fun

Realtek Updated to 7246 (r2.75) latest

Which is not the latest because

    Realtek 6.0.1.7378 is the latest
This is released to everybody else but not on the main website for realtek

I can not install this latest Realtek driver
No HD Audio Device for realtek at all

I only have VIA HD Audio on my Device Manager---Sound

which the latest version of VIA is
    6.0.11.500 (Downloaded from w230ss page :)

I have found this application to be very helpful
Driver Fusion from Treexy helped me to update everything i needed.

But im curious as to why i can not update my realtek driver without an exe.

    ALong that note
    Custom Audio Drivers?
or what audio car is in the w230st

    Hello vuman
Thank you for all the drivers
I have been using moded AMD (non beta) driver from here for my fall semester in school
compared to manufacturer drivers it fixed some issues displaying in Rhono 5 3d modeling, but messed up AutoCAD (That I don't really use that much)

now when AMD came out with a huge update in their 14.12 catalyst omega DO YOU THINK IT IS POSSIBLE TO GET NEW MOD OF LATEST DRIVER?

Thank you Vuman for this thread it saved my PC

unfortunately, updating drivers is indeed a hassle and requires patience and work!

    what i do:
    - check my individual hardware components using HWInfo64
    - go to respective component manufacturer sites to check for drivers
    - go to laptop manufacturer site to check for drivers
    - go to reseller/vendor site to check for drivers
    - go to community sites such as PremaMod, laptopvideo2go oder station-drivers to check for drivers and/or firmwares, bios, vbios...
    - do test installs and determine which of these drivers match my components - in some cases, such as the audio chip or touchpad, may not work in the newest version, so ull have to stick to a previously released one...

Are these the right drivers for all Sager devices??

    I have a Sager NP9150 (P150EM) with a Windows 8.1 OS. I've downloaded all the drivers from Sager's own website here: http://www.sagernotebook.com/drivers.php?cat=557

All of the drivers on their website are from 2012, but there are several in this thread from 2013. Should I download these ones instead?

I agree it was very confusing to me to decide which drivers to use there are like 20 diff site all with diff version of drivers I had to try them all out to see which worked well enough for me but I dunno which ones are actually the best and I am sure ccleaner didn't get all the messed up registry files but it really is just a crap shoot of choosing which "works best for you" which is sometimes hard to gauge honestly so until someone tries every driver and every combo of drivers on every laptop no one will know what best good luck let me know if what works out best

    Hey guys,

Bought a UltraNote II (Clevo W550EU I think) laptop from PCSpecialist which arrived today... Exciting!

I purchased it without an OS because I have my own copy of Windows 7, but here is the kicker, they haven't provided me with ANY Windows 7 drivers. I've spent the past 4 hours trying to find a simple WiFi driver but even that seems to be difficult and I am close to my wits end :(

I tried to install the Chipset driver, listed in the first post and I am presented with an error message stating my notebook doesn't meet the minimum requirements for the software... and force closes

I'm in desperate need of some help. I can't use Wifi or LAN right now and I have about another 6/7 things in my device manager that aren't recognised

EDIT: Looking through the Sager website, can someone try and help me find out what model number my Clevo W550EU is equivalent too? I think it might be the Sager NP2650 but I am second guessing myself
