If you have AS5, then use that. Its great stuff.
Just turn on the system and use it like normal.
Computers these days are extremely forgiving. If your always afraid of hurting something, you'll never learn on your own. Just throw the paste on, screw everything down, and stress the cpu and gpu so that the paste can work its way into the micropores.
-
right now would be good.....*LOL*
-
ok. I just run 3dmark06 and Crysis...
ouffff..... i hope that all goes well
the last night, the GPU temp was 78ºC playing Crysis.
i will see what temps get now -
I am having problems with my graphics on my D900C and was wondering if anyone here has had the same issues. When I have my Graphics card in SLI I get frame rate jumps like it is fickering, I have talked to our IT guy here in Iraq and he says it is a Software issue. Does anyone have the most current software drivers for the 9800M gtx. I am in Iraq and he said that the temp could be an issue as well so I removed an A/C unit and put on next to the desk.
-
You've got pretty good cooling in the D900C. Much better than I've got in the M570TU. Flickering frame rates are almost always a software issue. I'd try downloading the 180.43 Big Band drivers off www.laptopvideo2go.com . Also, make sure you disable everything you do not need in msconfig. If you are running any anti-malware programs, turn them off temporarily while you test, and of course, make sure windows is updated to the latest version.

It looked exactly like that. I have upgraded to Vista now and I am looking for the most current drivers can any one tell me what is the best drivers and where to download them
-
the best drivers are to find at: www.laptopvideo2go.com
You can look there for the best...
normally the actually -
I cannot connect my laptop to the net here it is controlled in Iraq. I need a link to a driver so I can download them and put them on a stick and load them. Crazy I know but you do what you have to.
-
Unfortunately, laptopvideo2go does not allow hotlinking, so we can't give you a direct link to the download.
-
-
I am going to wait for you to figure it out, the DOD IT guy here said that it is a software issue, he deleted all of my drivers and we went to the clevo website and sager website to get the new drivers. Everything is working without problems at this time and I played on the thing all day yesterday. We are running diagnostic software on the computer now to check the hardware.
-
man, i wish my problem was that easy!!!
-
I will let you know what we come up with as well, Since UPS cannot come to Iraq I am trying everything I can before I send this computer back. I will keep you posted on what the IT guy comes up with here. We ran the same benchmark software you have and I ran above 15500
-
yeah, see mine never ran that high under vista. and it definitely seemed sluggish under the dual 9800m gt's.
but as of right now, from what i read...your is working fine right?? -
It is working now but I am still not 100% sure it is fixed. I am working on trying to get the most current drivers downloaded right now. I am in contact with M-Tech right now to get an answer on to what they think could be wrong. I will get a scanned copy what I found on the Drivers disk that came with my computer and get it posted today.
I would like to know what RJTECH says in ref to your computer as well maybe there is a hardware issue. -
ok, sounds good jimmy. i will let you know for sure.
-
It started acting up again, it ran fine for about 4 hours then went to hell. It does not do it when it is not in SLI mode.
-
and here i was thinking i may need to kick myself in ones butt!. thinking that maybe another os install would help (number 4)..*LOL* that's about what i got...3 hours then the blinking and all hell breaking loose.
-
yours worked fine without SLI mode correct? Mine works fine when not in SLI mode. The IT Guys here and yes we have all 4 looking at it now think it could be a connection issue and if not that then a hardware issue, since it works when it is not in SLI mode.
-
yep. that would be what i explained to rjtech. non sli mode works fine and dandy...if that's what i bought it for...*LOL* but of course...we want sli enabled. this is not good! im giving them a call later today to find out what is the status.
-
I am probably going to have to send mine back but I will lose it for up to 2 months, I am going to wait until you find out what is wrong with yours before I send mine in.
-
well. i talked to them today and they said that clevo was still checking my machine out. which means they have no idea what is wrong. im still pulling for a new machine once they come in to rjtech, but we shall see...
-
Could somebody explain the difference between the GTX and GTX+? is this the difference between the two model #s? 60* and 617? How will I know which one Im getting?
SLI enabled as opposed to not? Why? -
where are you seeing a gtx+?
sli enabled is just the card bios, needs to be reflashed if you upgrade from single card to sli (i believe) -
a brand new card going bad has me a bit concerned though. after only 4 hours of use.... -
So whats the deal with the two product #s? 608 and 617? -
(speculation of course) -
Wow... 12000 3D'06 Marks from a laptop, that is good.
-
And non sli too
-
12.167 3Dmarks
lol
but i want more ^^ -
wow better than mine! Screenies and freqs!
-
look at page 8
-
if i would have kept my gt's for longer than 4 days...i would have had you itsfun. *LOL*
-
-
it's posted around here somewhere. -
Wow not bad! If only I had not beat up my card before I moved to the X9100. I can't hit the old clocks any more! Else I'd have you beat, itsfun
-
you have him beat now, you just have to unlock that gtx secret...LOL
-
Like I said, I can't get my GTX up where it was again! My card is running just above stock now, and its happy now. If you know any secrets I don't know, then fess up!
-
-
Emike did you check ATI tool when you overclocked your 9800m GTX? Since you say you can´t overclock anymore to the levels you had before.
-
ATI Tool does overclock the 9800M GTX card. What I mean when I say I can't overclock to the levels I had before, is that the card is unstable at the frequencies it ran fine at before. My max 3DMark is now 10250... so sad!
-
New record:
12537!
Core: 625 MHz
Shaders: 1720MHz
Mem: 975 MHz Custom Timings
It hit 20F last night, so I decided to try for a max OC again. Reflashed to 0617 vBIOS and was able to get my speeds back up to where they are supposed to be. Ran at 1.05v. Core max temp hit 29C. Used custom memory timings, tightened way down from stock.
Alright itsfun, your next!
-
so now i have to rerun mine?? lmao!!!
nice work mike!! i kept the faith and i see you came back stronger than ever! -
emike Wich latencies have you forced??
-
^^ Switched Timing 0 to Timing 4 latencies, and pulled down even more from that.
-
Hello again, can you tell me how do you switched the timings?
with nibitor, or what? -
Nice!!! We will break the 13k! ^^ Okay!
Can you send me your 0617 vBios (for GTX)? I will edit them for me...
-
12,000 with one mobile card is dang impressive.
-
Emike have you overvolted your 9800m GTX through nibitor? If so can you show how, I assume you set up the voltage tables?
