None yet its still not available anywhere, overseas will have it first ( as usual ) I'd expect 90% of the US resellers to have it around late december/early jan (more than likely January if things repeat like the p65x) We'll be sure to include info once we open the official owners thread.
They have english speaking sales reps, + you can use chrome to translate to english, thats what I did, I've been back and forth w/ their reps the past week. Hold off though I"m getting them to tell me shipping / destination charges, they DO however support DHL and others, so shouldn't be to much of an issue.
I'll post again once they respond which is usually around 3-5am my time lol.

Dead machines can be frustrating
Mine was like this (last card that died on me was 580m, before I had 2 dead 7970m), I woke up, turned on my computer, logged into gw2, then went to restroom, when I came back, it was artifacts all over the place felt like I was playing minecraft
After the 3rd card dying in the same machine (with < 70C temperatures, crazy right?), I decided I had a faulty mobo shorting on me sometimes (as I always had problem with AC adapter, not being detected all the time, and this is also the 3rd adapter that had the same issue), I decided remove the GPU heatsink all together and use it as a linux workhorse, it does a fine job, but everytime I look at the empty vent, I go mad considering the amount of money I wasted on it

This:
Will be overkill for it -
Those look pretty compact to me. How much does one weigh?
-
I remember my 9750 died, not the board but just cuz the GPU literally fell apart after nearly 4 years of continuously use. That + the screw hole that held it up at the time which was a plastic riser piece also broke off so it had no way to stabilize, still unsure how that happenned. Its still in my closet however I plan to one day mail it back to sager to have them replace it w/ any left over parts so I can revive it into something.

It's good -
^ oh god that looks sexy

Meaker! Don't do this to me! I am going to end up buying SLI machine which will break my back!
-
f*** character, I am getting old! though it looks amazing and I always wanted an SLI machine
probably I will end up getting a desktop though!
-
I'm confused. Why are there two fans, and two exposed MXM boards? Where's the CPU?

That's my newly upgraded P570WM

Reminds me, when is the new X99 laptop coming?

@meaker: looks like u got ur 980Ms, i want benchmarks!
@wingnut: the cpu? under those two fans!
@maxheap: as enticing as a sli machine might be, at some point weight and form factor/thickness of a machine actually DO bother mebesides, i also wouldnt want to waste time messing around with sli profiles, micro stuttering, etc.... desktop cpu FTW! but single mxm as well

Hello, first time poster here. Hope that I don't break some rules, in case, let me know
Long story short, my Lenovo decided to let me down, and I'm so tempted by the Clevo world. But I can't decide between this little beast and a XMG's P651SE... for me weight and compactness are a big plus, but the desktop i7 is just awesome.
Currently I'm working with a broken-keyboarded laptop with an USB keyboard, so I'm not in a hurry. But still, I hope to get my new Clevo before Christmas. Do you think that the P750ZM will be available for ordering in December in Europe? -
gotta love it haha
@redbytes: ordering before christmas is a sure thing for the P751ZM. were actually hoping for preorders to pop up this weekwith the current ETA of mid-december, the more interesting question is, if resellers/system builders will be able to ship any units before the end of the year!
-
^^
I vote 1 -
I vote # 3 actually lol it shows your passion to install 4k into any poor unsuspecting soul regardless of needs. " DOO EETTT" 1 is good too but you could work your way up to it as you preorder, then as you wait, then when you get it lol.

I tried to contact mysn for information about the P750ZM or their P651SE too, but they don't answer my email... So I probably won't buy from themdidn't expect a non-existent customer care from Schenker
-
how long ago did u send them that email? it sometimes takes several work days until they answer you (based on my personal experience), but in the end they always do answer
MySn told me theyre expecting the XMG U505 (=P751ZM) to be available mid-december. that was on november 10th when i canceled my order for the XMG P505 / P651SG.
the P651SE is already available and shipping, btw. current ETA for the SG (980M version) is december 3rd according to their website -
I know that the P651 as already available, in fact I'm in a big dilemma... 2,5 kg and all soldered or much more weight BUT MXM and desktop i7?Moreover, to me customer care it's the most important thing, since I'll use that laptop for working. If I ask Dell a question they asnwer me instantly, if I have a problem send me a technician at home the next day (I had an XPS which literally fried 5 or 6 mobos, so at the and me and the repair guy were like friends). For a Clevo I'd be willing to wait a little more, but when they don't answer you in 2-3 days, well...
-
Nothing beats NBD warranty.
-
@redbytes: well, Dell having the best customer care there is is nothing new
but u cant expect the same from other vendors, especially not when it comes to clevos
give them some time, im sure ull have ur answer by the end of this week / beginning of next the latest
also, considering the components, the weight of the P751ZM is not that much higher if u ask meplus, as i keep saying over and over here, this machine is actually THINNER than the P150 series which also sports both exchangeable CPU and GPU, albeit with a mobile CPU

@jaybee - Nice new avatar! -
well, that's true, but still I think the 1kg difference is quite relevant. Moreover, as I mentioned before, my current laptop's keyboard decided to stop working a few days ago, so I'm a bit in a hurry. I'll see if I manage to resist until mid-december... hoping that they'll show up earlier.

Being an original P150EM owner, this is a great upgrade. -
anyone know when is 960m coming out ? for things i'd like to run on this laptop (SQL Server,Sharepoint,VS) 970m might be overkill. I'd rather spend the money saved in a nvme ssd
-
id say sometime in Q1 2015 for the 960M...
@lonesyndal: yes thats correct concerning super stripped battery life. i would expect around 2-2.5 hours at the most with the P751ZM, BUT, and thats a big plus in my book, lack of optimus lets us overclock the lcd refresh rate -
-
mmm yes and no. with 15 ms response time the refresh rate at 60 Hz is still the bottleneck, since 1/60 = 16,7 ms. so from 67 Hz upwards (= 15 ms) ud force the bottleneck towards the response time of the display
edit: hmmm....im wondering if overclocking the refresh rate would also "overclock" the response time of the display...? -
I don't think so. I'm not the electronics guy, but I think that the response time is a physical property of the panel, not something you can "tweak" just by changing a field in a config file.
But I'd be happy if someone proves me wrong -
no idea either. just speculating since upping the refresh rate and thus clocking the display higher in Mhz terms would maybe force the pixels to also change color faster...?
way put of my league, just being overly optimistic here
-
Meaker@Sager Company Representative
Well the response time is not a set figure exactly. It will vary slightly panel to panel and it depends on the type of colour shift.
-
Ok this sucks
-
ohno..... ah well, at least ill have some quieter holidays then, since i wont be installing/benching/tuning/modding the crap outta my new machine
thanks for the heads up luna -
Fu¢|< I can't wait till January
-
Damn... well guess I'm going with the P157SM-A with 4940mx then :/ I can't wait till january either.
-
-
i hear ya lonesyndal
your loss metacarpus! -
I'd rather have updated tech when possible especially w/ all the fixes, and changes over time.
@MetaCarpus you could always grab it then send it back before the 30 days if you gear better info, so either way shouldn't be an issue if you absolutely-must-have-it-before-the-world-ends <3 -
I wasn;t surprised by that deadline.. Eurocom had Jan too.. Hopefully its before that but who knows...
-
of course hell be fine with the p157-sm-a, just teasing
on the other hand it still sucks to be paying so much more for the mobile extreme cpu...
u sure u CANNOT wait metacarpus? or is it just cuz u WONT wait?justmake sure ure not regretting anything afterwards...
Any information on the new Clevo P7x0ZM?
