@XMG will you do the Clevo P771ZM barebones? I just need standard IPS display without any CPU/GPU/RAM/HDDs and just with UK keyboard, killer 1525ac card and 330W PSU? If possible, can you please PM me a quote including shipping etc for London UK?

@ clevo-extreme, I know you guys can do this for sure... Can you please send me a quote/PM me a quote too?

    Thanks,
    Tom

Unfortunately we are not able to get that model anymore. It did get replaced by the P377SM-A (Sager NP9377) but that was just removed on the 24th. So right now Sager does not have any dual video card machines. I would expect a new version to replace it, but there hasnt been any info on what or when.

@hi9580 - we have the P370SM-A in stock, it is the XMG P724 model. I'm not allowed to link you to our page but if you google XMG P724 UK you will see the UK website product page - you can configure all the options and then when you click "Add To Basket" it will take you to the shipping page where you can get a quote for shipping to your address in Australia. At this point, the website will also take the 20% UK sales tax off the order value for you (all configuration pages include 20% tax).

Shipping to Australia is via DHL air service and takes 2 business days :)

How long does it usually take to have a warranty repair carried out? My AUO screen has screen bleeding in three corners, and it's pretty heavy, and I seriously consider to send my laptop to have the screen exchanged.

You would want to reach out to where you purchased your computer from. It can vary by every company. Then the shipping times would vary a little bit by how close you live to the service center.

We have seen people recently fixing bleeding by unloosening the screws that hold the bezel in place. If comfortable doing that its worth a shot.

Yeah, that one came off of the site today. Broke my heart a little bit when I saw that update come through today about the 8651/8652. Sager has been pulling down models over the last couple weeks though. No updates as of yet to when and what models might be available.

With regards to the P870DM which has GTX 980 support:

So the P870 and P775 won't be available imminently, but soonish!

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but what are the panel specs on the sager 8658? It says
15.6” 4K QFHD 16:9 Wide screen (3840x2160) ) SAMSUNG Clear Matte G-SYNC™ Technology. Are these the same RGB pentile panels used in MSI and lenovo laptops? Thanks

Do any resellers have plans to do a overview video of the p650re any time soon? Just trying to see if there's a big difference in build vs the 650se. I keep thinking the gap between the screen and base is different. Also wondering if nvme ssds are supported.

The exterior chassis is the same as the SE version.

Notebookcheck has one of our XMG P506 laptops (P650RE), their review should be published in the next few days. We also sent some others out to UK press for review so they should be out in a week or two!

There's some information released from some Chinese resellers which says that P650re will definitely support nvme and its cpu could be 6820hk. But we highly doubt if the temperature of cpu could be maintain in an appropriate range. LOL

I'm from Bolivia, I had to make a lot of (expensive) procedures in order to get a clevo :'( . Sadly, LA countries are not in line with new brand gadgets releases, but I'm happy with my P650SE. I boutgh it (indirectly) from Pro Star. The thing is that I'd like to get the LA-Spanish layout red backlit keyboard part but I don't know where to find it, if it exist of course :( .

I like clevo because of the huge variety of sellers an compatibility of parts. Hope one of you could help me.

    Thanks for the attention.

I don't think I have seen an option to offer this, as far as I know.

You could check with Pro Star and see if they can order one for you. Otherwise, maybe reach out to a Clevo reseller that normally operates in a region that is Spanish speaking, possibly a European one, to see if they can sell you one.

What's going on with mySN / XMG, did they go bankrupt or something? Their homepage has been down for weeks it feels like.
Me and some friends were looking to order some computers and were directed to order from mySN.de instead of .eu but it doesn't seem possible, being from Sweden.

My friends ended up going with another reseller but I just wanted to make sure before going somewhere else.
It seems mySN.co.uk is still available but the prices are way different compared to their .de counterpart and feels safer buying from Germany as it's closer to home.

Hi there and welcome to the forum!

Everything was explained in this post which Ethrem posted for us:

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/xmg-mysn-currently-experiencing-website-issues.782397/

It is simply down to a rather catestrophic server failure and in the down time of the affected websites ( .eu, .fr, .se and .ch ) we have directed customers to the .de website. Definitely nothing to worry about at all in terms of business, support, shipping to the same countries and so on - the country specific sites mentioned above should be back shortly :)

The .co.uk prices are taken directly from the .de site and converted into GBP so there shouldn't be any differences apart from the 19% vs 20% VAT.

Oh I totally missed that, thanks!

Just to confirm once again, it's not possible for Nordic customers to order from mySN.de, correct?
I mean, I won't ask for specfic reasons, I'm sure it's complicated but I'd much rather order from Germany for personal reasons.

    No problem!

Nordic customers can order from mysn.co.uk and I'm pretty sure from mysn.de as well. We opened up the shipping options on the UK website after the server crash and I am certain that our German office did the same for mainland Europe countries. There is a list of international countries on the .de website upon checkout (before you actually choose your shipping country) - I think this is a little bit out of date because it has Finland on there but not Sweden or Norway. I expect this list hasn't been updated, but the actual shipping options will have been updated.

Actually I tried going to checkout where you're asked to make an account and Sweden is not selectable in the list, but I can select "Abweichende Lieferadresse" which I assume means separate address?
Is it alright if I just write Sweden there and checkout or would I have problems when I pay since my account will have to say some country other than Sweden?

@Nephix - I have asked one of my colleagues from the EU office to answer this for you as I'm in the UK office and don't know the specifics of shipping on the .de website - they'll be able to answer your question in full shortly.

Is the P870DM not capable of GTX 980 SLI? If so how does the MSI GT80 Titan have it in SLI?

The GT80 is the only one that is announced to have SLI option listed on it. Seeing how it hasn't been released as of yet, it is hard to say exactly how well it is going to work. It is a bigger frame, since it is an 18 inch, that it has a little more room for the GPUs in there, as well as everything else.

The P377SM-A handles SLI quite nicely so I don't see why an even bigger laptop would have any issues with SLI.

Generally the p377sm-a ran better on cooling, and then this is putting in 2 desktop 980 in to it. I don't think it will be a trainwreck of a system by any means, but just don't know if it will run in to throttling issues or anything like that.

The whole GTX 980 thing is a mess.

So far it looks like there may be a total of 4 variants by the time everything is said and done - the 200W rating in the P870DM, the 180W rating in the P775DM, a 120W card for use in SLI in the GT80, and the regular weird MXM card that Asus always uses in their machines and that's not even counting what memory type each one will have and if there will even be a 5th type for standard MXM support for older machines since these other cards are too big to fit in current machines. There is going to be a wide performance variance across the range of cards owing to the different power phases, whether or not they have 7Gbps GDDR5, clock speeds... I'd wait for all the systems to start shipping (or just go for the P870DM and get the ultimate card).

I think the 980 is nVidia's most confusing mobile launch ever. In fact I'm sure I'm going to get corrected about some of that because even I can't keep the information straight...

I don't know if we have quite hit 800 series Maxwell / Kepler confusion levels quite yet. But getting there. I thought I saw it somewhere that it would use 120w in GT80, but just wasn't 100% sure, so I didn't mention that. But yes, that looks like it will be factoring in to the different models.
