In my opinion, one of the best driver tools available. This should be supported by Clevo themselves!

A word of caution: The latest NVidia driver 381.65 is very buggy. I am having screen corruption during boot and sometimes display crashes/does not work.
P.S.: I have the Windows 10 Creator's update.

 

0 issues here. not a single one to be honest

 

I'm not having problems all the time, but sometimes. Also looking at the event log shows multiple NVidia warning/error events in Application and System logs.
Once during a reboot, the screen went black and wouldn't boot into Windows. I had to force power off and boot again. Apparently, I'm not the only one having these issues, from what I can read from the latest driver feedback post:

Updated the fixed control center for the P6xxRS models.
Thanks to CLEVO for providing fixed/updated versions both CCs (RS and RP6).

 

CCC on Clevo's website for the P6XXRS still shows 5.0001.0.98. Is there a new version for these models, or is this update for the P6XXHS? I only ask because an update would be nice, but I know you're not supposed to deviate from what's on Clevo's site.

 

When i say "updated" im talking about my app.

I got the updated versions for the RS / RP by discussing these problems with CLEVO, every time you guys report something i will directly pass it too the support channel so can they get it fixed.

Use the app to update since that version is not available in the CLEVO website yet.

Also, the Audio Driver version 6.0.1.8036 fails every single time I try to install it. Is this a known issue?

I just bought the N850HJ. Exact model is not listed, but N850HK is listed, which I believe is almost the same except the GPU being a GTX 1050Ti instead of the GTX 1050 in the HJ variant (i.e. the one I have). Can I use the N850HK as my model?

Hi John - with my P651HP6-G i have received the popup info yesterday that RST has an update available. But it was the NVIDIA driver in the list that could get an update. RST already had the latest version installed and was greyed out (no update button) but NVIDIA had one and it installed fine. Maybe you can check this - if you have some time to do so...

I felt the Clevo brand and the companies that build their systems off the chassis could use more detailed exposure. I have covered my particular laptop quite a bit on the channel and have the attention of many newcomers considering a powerful laptop as well as many actually buying one.

This is the error I get every time I try to install the latest Realtek Audio Driver. I google it but can't seem to find any help on it. Any ideas?

It's easy.
Some time ago I found a way to update the audio driver without breaking support for SBX. That did work on recent models, but the same method on the RS and RP6 breaks it.
So I need to re-do the driver for those models or use the old version from CLEVO website for those two.

 

There's a newer Airplane driver available through Windows Update, version 1.4.0.4. For some reason, however, it's not available through the Windows Update catalog site that you can access through Internet Explorer, and I haven't been able to find another source for it.

Been rolling with it for weeks. No issues that I've found that I could attribute to it.

But the setup is not working for the version i uploaded, probably will only update with manual driver update.
I will have to find a way of doing this.
Reverted back to 1.4.0.3 for now.

 

I think this version was included as part of the last big Windows 10 update before the creator's build that came out this week. I don't even recall needing to connect to Windows Update to get it - as though it was integrated into the ISO file.

 

Are you sure? I've installed Windows 10 Creator Update, but I still have the 1.4.0.3 Airplane version installed.

The package I sent you is not from MS update but Clevo's own version...installed just fine here, been using it since January without problems...

 

What is your laptop model?
I´ve tried installing it in some models and it keeps showing the same error.

Installed on a clean OS installation, maybe the old version needs to be uninstalled first?

Did you see the Sound Blaster updated software?

 

Last time I did a clean install was with the January 2017 build, and either in the box or the first time I ran Windows Update, it installed version 1.4.0.4. I know this because whenever the OS would install all the drivers the first time, the Airplane driver would always fail, resulting in a yellow checkmark in device manager. I would always have to install that driver manually. That wasn't the case on my most recent reinstall.

 

Redo the audio driver please. I want to get the latest driver update for my P650-RSG. lol
