because of this i write motherboard number because some bords are usıng gf9300 some of thems 105m.
i need bios which dont have numpad keyboard and must have 105m graphıc.

Are you sure that there is nothing between the "K" & "7" in the serial number?

I can't find W76xSU model. I only can find these models which are near:

i am afraid to change my laptop case.because of them i gived motherboard number.my laptop works with w765sun's bios buts there is keyboard problem.

 

Let me guess, You have POSITIVO laptop. Because if this is the case, then just forget about finding an EC/BIOS 100% copmatiple with your laptop; specially the EC firmware, because your keyboard is portugaise, so if you flash a standard Clevo EC, then you will have some problem with your keyboard, for example you will loose the "?" key. So the only way is to contact Positivo and try to take from them the original EC. I don't know if they accept that but you don't have lot of choices; Otherwise you have onther choise: change your keyboard to spanish one !

Its strange, normally the turkish "C" should be some thing like strong "J", not "D"
Just kiding, I really tried to help you but i can't find your model number. by the way who told you that you have a W760SU? did you buy your laptop from a local company? If yes, does they brand, or sell as a Clevo?

By the way in which city you are? I have a brother in Istanbul.

thats perfect i bought laptop from CASPER comp company.Motherboards are clevo.I made i bios update of clevo w765sun and than keyboard changed.because w765sun "s keyboard is numeric mine is not numeric
i am searching a bios which is same with 765sun but not using numeric keyboard.

hey guys, got something curious happening here ever since i updated my P150HM to EC 1.00.04 and BIOS 1.01.06 (flashing went down without a hitch, btw):

every time i do a fresh boot, my primary hard drive isnt recognized and the system tries to boot from the network controller. after shut down and an additional boot it then starts up windows normally. this happens every time now, its kinda annoying. any thoughts?

I did the same update to my P150HM, but has not noted any of the problems you have. So far the notebook is working great, after the Bios update I gained over 200 3DMark06 points, and went from 25 - 27 FPS in unigine 2,5 Heaven. Also the GPU-fan is more consistent now than before, were it would start and stop all the time.

 

yup, i can confirm those points. what kina hard drive do u use tho? i think it has something specific to do with the Corsair F90 that im using as my primary drive.

I'm probably doing something wrong, but when I run step1.bat for the P150, I get an error saying it's not compatible with my version of windows (64 bit).

 

Are you running it in DOS? If not, you need to read the first post in this thread and carefully follow the instructions. Messing with BIOS updates should not be taken lightly.

For quite a while, i have searched for an bios update for my computer, Clevo M767TU. Do you know which is the latest EC, Bios and/or VBIOS for it and where i can find it? I have searched this entire forum and not found any other reference to this model,

Not sure if it's been brought up yet but I'd like to point out that my Sager branded NP8130 that I got post recall has System bios 1.01.06 and EC firmware 1.00.02
The bios date is 3/3/11

People with the same machine might only need to update EC as the latest in this topic is 1.00.04

Just a thought as I was curious and felt the need to check exactly what rev was on my machine before running an update.

pkhetan is there something new for P170HM ? I have a lot of problems with my clevo, unexpected freezing issue and after dismounting one module of RAM my network adapters dissapeared. Right now I have BIOS 1.01.03 and EC 1.00.03.

No, you have the latest, but maybe you have to downgrade the BIOS to 1.01.02, because the 1.01.03 may not be released yet officially. Any other members can confirm these problems with 1.01.03 BIOS ??

No, it's not. The one compatible with yours is what i had linked to. For the procedure, read the first post in this thread. By the way, which Clevo SERVICE sent you that file?

Since there is "R1" in the file name, I don't recomend you to use it, because we don't know what that mean, it could be for a specific re-brander requirement. Instead use this : ftp://cftp.clevo.com.tw/ALLBIOS/M111xx/M111x1508.zip only take the EC from it and then take the newer BIOS (1.00.18) from here : ftp://cftp.clevo.com.tw/ALLBIOS/M111xx/BIOS_18.zip

 

I downgraded already BIOS to 1.01.02 but I left only EC 1.00.03 and everything goes back to normal. My network adapter comes back to life also USB 3.0. Now I'm testing this combination. But as you see BIOS for P170HM is underdeveloped.

 

I've updated the initial post with mediafire links for the BIOS files that Pkhetan provided. I hope I haven't messed something up for both my and your sake.

 

Out of curiosity I flashed he latest P150Hx bios, it's a slightly different revision of the 1.01.06 than mine came preloaded with, noticeably the "Style Note" vendor branding. I can see a big difference in how the fan operates, CPU fan is constantly on no matter what, while I see it does run slightly cooler because of this and I know it's something many people here seem to desire I personally don't, but I'm living with it as I was just too curious.

I'm also looking into custom branding the bios image to replace the Style Note branding.

 

Someone here explain this changelog from the X7200 laptop.

My guess is Clevo added a new motherboard (revision 4) to the x7200 line, and a new BIOS was needed to control it. Has anyone taken their x7200 apart enough to get a look at the revision of their existing board?

In any case, since he was the one who found it, pkhetan may have additional info.
