From our experience here. You should first update your EC/KBC to the latest version and than update you BIOS to the latest version. That is all.

Ok but, what's the lattest version of this? And where I can download it? It's the same process to the BIOS update?

It's the same process and you can download it from the same place you got your BIOS file. For more information read the initial post of this thread.

I'll try to find later, the FTP seems to be offline.
The KBC/EC fw is downloaded within the BIOS file or it's in a separated file?

Hi all, new to this forum,
Have joined to see if anyone can advise me on how to update/reflash the bios on my clevo M375S, the drivers are on the clevo site, but no bios.
I see the method for flashing is on the sticky, but I don't know where I can get the files?
    Thanks for any help

Are all the BIOS versions of the NP8130 here the latest? Are there other sources? I can't find any BIOS files in Sager's official website.

And is the VBIOS revision of the VGA card updatable?

Is the VBIOS in the motherboard itself or in the Video card? Is it updatable in the Sager NP8130?

The VBIOS is part of the video card, as it runs early in the boot process of the machine. However, there is no reason to update it unless you're having graphics related problems or trying to add a new (and potentially unsupported) graphics card.

That was answered above... See my post about the x7200 driver/BIOS thread. <strike>Check the link on that thread for the AMD VBIOS link from Clevo.</strike> Scratch that. The link looks like Clevo has removed that. Does any vendor have an updated link that we could keep that x7200 resource alive?

There is, but the Clevo resource for it has been removed. Where did you purchase your machine? They should be able to locate it for you if Clevo removed it from their own FTP site.

In the meantime, I'm hoping it was just moved on Clevo's site, and a vendor can provide us with the new location.

Forgot to add you mythlogic, sorry 'bout that. Please accept my apology.

In any case, I thought Rev. 12 was the last BIOS for this machine. Someone has made reference to a 728BV13.ISO for the NP7282. I was hoping there was a corresponding Clevo BIOS for the x7200.

    OR....

The post is incorrect, and that BIOS does not even exist.

The V13 BIOS does exist in Sager trim, but remember that these BIOS's versions are no longer aligned with one-another. So Its a specific sager version that has some specific changes in it. For example Eurocom's version of the X7200 BIOS has a different version number and different options in the menu. So I wouldn't worry too much about it being ahead, they are all based on the .12 mother version with specific changes for each vendor.

    Ahhh. OK.

My guess is with the P270WM release just around the corner, there won't be too many other BIOS releases for the x7200. I just wish Clevo would do one more release where ALL the BIOS options are available, rather than having someone restore hidden options for any BIOS release.

Remember end users aren't clevo's "customers" they are just a contract manufacturing house, they do what their real customers (OEM's) ask of them :p So while it would be nice, I don't see it happening any time soon.

    Hi guys,

    I'm from Turkey. i'm going to use MONSTER® Q72P150HM07 15.6''
branded laptop based on Clevo. Here it's the original page.

As you can see the screenshot, the manufacturer of this laptop is Clevo. Please take a look at the bios section and tell me if the bioses on the first page with the thread P150HM (Sager NP8150/NP8130) will fit my laptop or not?

Which one is the stock bios? There are so many, i can't figure out which one to choose?

under the P150HM (Sager NP8150/NP8130) thread there are:

    SAGER versions for
    BIOS V 1.01.14 &
    EC/KBC V 1.00.13

    EC/KBC V 1.00.13
No BIOS - Install from previous release

    vBIOS for Quadro 5010m

BIOS 1.01.14, standalone - For EC/KBC use link below

You first need to flash the file EC/KBC V 1.00.13 - restart and then you need to flash the file BIOS 1.01.14 - restart.

    Hello pkhetan,

i have some issues with my new latop which i bought it from ebay as used.

    Model: Clevo M77SU
    mainboard nr: nkm770su8k00209
    6-71-m74so-do4.gp

Sometimes the laptop turns on and boot into windows.
But sometimes it is not booting.

I opened the Notebookcase and controlled the Fan.
The Fan do not turn on. I measured the voltage on the red and black pin when i push the power on keytop and leds lights up and dvd is searching...i measure only 0,5Volts. I think the fan need 5Volts ?

Why do not the fan starting to run during the power post process?

The cpu and gpu getting very hot, but i shuted the notebook down to not burn it.

is it possible that the guy flashes the wrong bios or this bios do not turn the fan on ?

Would be happy if you have some information for me to solve the problem?

might be that i reball the gpu? i am confused why the fan do not goes on during the power on phase ?
    TIA

Were you sure the seller is reliable? This might have been the reason why he sold the laptop in the first place.

Hi I was wondering if someone could please upload the most upto date BIOS for this Model Number as it is not listed anywhere in this thread. Please do not direct my to the CLEVO website since I am not a distributor and the downloads section for BIOS updates does not work!

I ask this since my current BIOS is so basic it does not give me the option to disable Hyperthreading. I am using an Intel i3 Sandybridge processor that has 2 physical cores and 4 logical. I only need the computer to run on the 2 physical cores without the logical cores bottlenecking some of my older more single core hungry applications.

If you can not upload the most upto date BIOS for this model to help me with Hyperthreading disable can someone please guide me on how I can mod the BIOS on my computer to disable Hyperthreading.

    Thanks
