I tried it last night and there was definately 3 files in the zipfile, unless they've taken the file back down again?

Still we shouldnt have too long to wait for that update... -
There´s a (very) little mistake on first page:
latest Bios for D900F (Sager 9280) should be from Jan 2010, not 2009...
(Yes, I know, I´m a nitpicker, but your perfect site should be really perfect!) -

I think it does help. I will try to integrate these links in the first post, the more mirror sources to download them from, the better.

Cool no problem man
Each one of those is a folder that has the relevant BIOS files inside it all labelled -
Hi! i've been a passive reader here for several years ... so here comes my first post
I just updated my D900F to the latest BIOS (1.00.05) and noticed that the Intel RAID Option ROM contained in this release is actually older then in the previous one.
the numbers are:
BIOS 1.00.05_ Intel RAID Option ROM 8.8.0.1009
BIOS 1.00.04s Intel RAID Option ROM 8.9.0.1023
I don't know what the changes are on the Intel part, but i thought it was worth mentioning.
Maybe you could include that info on the front page.
Ah and the excessive beeping during flashing the 05-BIOS is just ridiculous! -
-

Nope.
Most modern software raid will have a BIOS level controller so the drives will appear as a raid installation to a fresh OS install. The matrix storage drivers ontop interact with that and control some features.
They may have regressed the option ROM as they decided the older version was more stable. -
Hello all, I'm in a bit of a pickle at the moment. I've got a bricked Hi-Grade M760S (Bad flash) and I'm in need of a rom. Version 1.00.10 was the one I was using at the time, but I may have other options, (read the last paragraph if you want to skip my efforts to get one)
I got in touch with Clevo UK and got a reply:
I phoned Hi-Grade and asked them to send me a bios, but they won't send one, "because their rom image has proprietary software in it". And said I would have to send the laptop to them and be charged £75.00, plus the post and packing there and back. The bit that ragged me most was when he said (It's not like the old days mate, you can't just download a bios to update your PC to the way you want) I wanted to spurt out the Sales of Goods Act and the Office of Fair Trading Fit For Purpose Act, but I couldn't remember the dates LOL.
The bad flash was one I got off some forum. I've sent the file to a bios repair guy that says "ive just checked the platform bin file of the bios you sent and the sst part isnt in there". The Hi-Grade M760S mainboard uses a SST 25VF080B chip for the bios, but he said I could use a Winbond w25x80vsig chip instead, with the previously image I flashed. What do you reckon? Do you think it'll work? The rom file is here
Oh yeah, there's a bunch of Clevo stuff here
and for my model, here but I can't even activate my account with the email I received, as I can't see a link on the reply email. And when I login I can't access those pages as I need x amount of rep to see them, and x amount to download them. But I can see the files on another site, which link back to the gaodi site here Atleast I can see the size of the zip files lol.
Update:
I had a look at the 1.00.18 rom with Hex Editor (just to read it), and it has these strings.
M740S/M760S DATE: 2009/08/20 VER: 1.00.21
This is a dummy file for SLP 2.0 Marker. Please just put this file to ROM as module
This a dummy file for SLP 2.0 PubKey. Please just put this file to ROM as module
OS Revision: 1.00.18 .KBC/EC Firmware Revision: 1.00.18
Just to be clear, I haven't tried flashing this rom, I messed up by backing up my ver 1.00.10 (which I wasn't aware was a corrupt backup) and inserted a 2.1 slic & cert, then flashed that. so ended up with no means to go back to square one. I didn't mind bricking the board as the chip is reprogramable (by desoldering it and getting it flashed) but I didn't think it would be such a PITA to get a rom. -

In the contrary, you have one EC Firmware update : 1.00.03 (2010/1/22) with this release note :
1. EC firmware 1.00.03.
2. Modify CPU shutdown temperature setting.
If you are interested, just PM me your email -
Hi everyone!
I bought my D901C 2,5 years ago but never made a BIOS update. The recent versions of the BIOS are compatible with my model? Did clevo sent out other D901C versions?
Thanks -
I need help!!! I 'm desperate!!
Today I flashed the D901C KB/EC update 13N and after I rebooted some of the keys in my keyboard are swicthed!!. Can I undo the flash? Can I reset some configuration in the BIOS? Can I flash a previous version of the KB/EC???
Thanks for the help! -
Can someone upload an older KB/EC firmware between 1.00.07 and 1.00.13N?
I really need this ! thank you -
the KBC/EC firmware 1.00.13N is for VISTA keyboard only
and the KBC/EC firmware 1.00.13 is for Windows XP keyboard only
And both of them need updating the BIOS to 1.00.22 after so the machine can work correctly.
So what is your keyboard ? and do you have already the 1.00.22 BIOS ? -
I think you need the KBC 13 (non 'N' version).
Hopefully pkhetan can get that for you
Edit: Damn, too slow -
Hi! I have windows 7!!
However if i connect a USB external keyboard my keys are fine.
My d901c keyboard is a qwerty and is for Portugal (Europe).
What is your suggestion?
Thanks you for the feedback. -
I forgot to mention that I already have the Bios updated to 1.00.22
-
It's to do with keyboard type, not installed operating system. If you have quite an old D901C, then you probably have the xp keyboard, and therefore need the non N KBC/EC.
-
I guess you must be right, since I bought my clevo aproximatedly 2,5 years ago.
So is it possible now to overwrite the 1.00.13N with the 1.00.13?
Thanks! -
you installed Windows 7. But i mean, your keyboard, is it the Vista ot the XP keyboard? any way i think theriko is right you need the 13 version.
PM me your email. i'll send you the KBC/EC firmware 1.00.13
Edit : LOL, now it's me who is slow theriko -
yes, you just need to flash the 13 non N version the same way you flashed the 13N version originally. I'm sure pkhetan will get you a link when he can.
Edit: Damn, beaten again... -
my email is [email protected]
And thank you for all the help!! -
I flashed back to the EC 1.00.13 and it worked!!
Thank you both for your support!! -
no probs, glad it worked
-
Hi again!
I have some doubts about upgrading my laptop. I'm getting an upgrade for my D901C in a few days, and I was wondering if the processor Q9650 will work in the 1.00.22 bios, as well the new nvidia 280M gtx. And what about the RAM, did the maximum allowed increased to 8GB with the latest bios (because I saw some clevos D901C with these specs).
Thank you! -
Hi all. Long time no post on here!
I don't know if this issue has already been covered on this thread (as there are tons of pages to it), but I'm going to ask it anyway in the hope that somebody can help me?
Basically, I've upgraded my Vista Home Premium x64 to Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I have had a quick glance at my Phoenix Securecore BIOS and it says that my O/S is Vista. Should I leave this setting? The only other options I have to choose from are "Other" and "Windows XP".
As Vista is pretty close to what Windows 7 is, I left it on Vista, rather than choosing "Other". It seems to be running super, and I'm a bit scared about choosing an 'unknown' setting in case it affects something that seems to be working okay.
Advice? Cheers all. -

If anyone sees any signs of a further updated M980NU BIOS (later than 1.00.06) then notification would be appreciated
-
Solve “system can’t identify BT device correctly when the BT cable exists” issue.
And i konw it support 9800M GT starting from BIOS 1.00.17 and other 9000M series from 1.00.19
and support Q9550 starting from 1.00.20
But about GTX 280M, Q9650, 8GB RAM sorry i don't know but any way 1.00.22 is the last BIOS, so if you have seen these specifications in other D901C, it should work with you too (unless they have special BIOS and i doubt they have)
