I really haven't seen this type of file structure of a Clevo BIOS. But by the looks of it, the EC is separate from the BIOS. So in theory you should flash the EC first and than the BIOS, or both of them together. I think you should direct your questions to your reseller.

@clams111 Typically you flash the EC first, run the MESET, and then flash the ME and the BIOS in the final step (or at least that's how ours has been structured - yours looks similar). If you copy the files onto a USB stick (formatted for FAT32), you should be able to boot from it, then follow the prompts in order.

Hello. I am using a N950KP6/N957KP6 of Clevo. I downloaded this firmware from Clevo official support. It contain 1 zip file. extract the zip file contain only 1 folder like the pircture. I tried to follow your instruction. But I stuck at creating bootable usb drive. The link of zfactor's guide is death so I use Rufus choose option create freedos to create a bootable usb drive (I'm not sure) and then I copy the folder to the usb drive. I load the bios select the usb drive to boots, the laptop seem to boot to that usb but nothing happends, it just load a little and then boots back to the system. Please help -
Just an aside, I did MESET, bios flash, then EC flash, all worked fine (although after the bios flash my DOS environment bugged up but a restart fixed that).
Also, my P670RS-G is doing random bootloops and restarts, and that is what got me to flash BIOS/EC to 1.07/1.05, anyone else having similar issues? I need my machine fixed soon or I might just call it a day and order a new gaming rig on Amazon. -
This looks like a BIOS flashing program for Windows, so a bootbale USB drive won't help. I think you need to run this from Windows or from a bootable Windows USB stick. -
Hey guys,
hope I can get some input here. Sorry if this has been asked already.
So i bought the Clevo Model PA70HS-G from a German reseller (Gamingguru) back in 2017.
Now I am looking forward to update my Bios and someone in this thread posted following link:
https://repo.palkeo.com/clevo-mirror/PA7XHS/
What is the correct way to install the updates? Do i need em all?
There are 3 (4?) different updates available:
- Release EC version: 1.05.06 (newest I guess?)
- Update BIOS Version to 1.05.11
- Update MCU M2A906E9_00000084 AND Update ME:11.8.50.3434
Looking into CPU-Z, my BIOS version is currently 1.05.07.
So the one my Notebook came with.
Is it safer to update my Notebook with the Obsidian Tool?
Best Regards,

-
In theory, it should work, but we are short of BIOS modders, unfortunately.
-
Owning a P650HP6-G from PCSpecialist with a 1.05.09 bios, can I then flash the latest from Clevo's website 1.05.11? I know PCSpecialist never release BIOS' for their clients.
-
Yes you can. Remember to update the EC first and then the BIOS.
-
Thanks! I tried looking for a reasonably simple "how to" guide as it seems involve a few more steps than flashing a desktop motherboard, do you know one?
Thanks! -
hi,i have a clevo p650rp6 ,which also braned as xmg 507 ,i flash the bios to 1.5.09,it works well but a anoying problem, in bios page at tag "exit", select" save change and reset system", confirm yes ,then bios page will get stuck, the machine donot reboot, but if i make chages at other tags such as main /boot and press f4 ,system will reboot successfully, anybody knwon how to fix it?
-
Have you looked at the first post of this thread?
-
Never heard of this problem before. Sorry.
-
Yes and I appreciate your efforts on posting all of these but the .bat files mentioned etc are completely different than what I got from the official clevo one as you can see below and there's no actual readme. This is the 1.05.11 btw.
-
By the looks of it, you need to run flashme.nsh
-
Prostar Computer Company Representative
The file structure looks different than what I'm used to seeing. No EC-related files?
Can you contact your reseller for the update? They should be able to advise if you get the firmware from them. -
Can someone share the latest bios for clevo n875ep6 ?
-
@Blacky @Prostar Computer i though that while flashing orginal clevo biose's u should use only .bat files. Can you correct me?
-
I would think so, but I am not very familiar with the recent models. Maybe they have changed something.
-
Prostar Computer Company Representative
It depends. More recent BIOS updates are likely using .NSH file extensions and may not be ran in the same freeDOS environment many older systems were.Blacky likes this. -
The stock version for this system has a nice triple option flash; you could use either DOS, Windows or EFI shell. The startup scripts would be FLASHME.bat, FlashMEWinX64.bat and FLASHME.nsh, respectively. For some reason XMG has removed most of the DOS files from their flash copy, but you'd have to ask them as to their motivation behind this choice.
Not providing a readme is a rather big omission though, I'd think. -
I have an NP8157. Currently sitting on: BIOS version: 1.05.02aRLS2, KBS/EC 1.05.03
I have an update according to Sager to BIOS version 1.05.14EC, EC 1.05.05
Does anyone have a change log for the latest BIOS version? -
I think it's this model: http://repo.palkeo.com/clevo-mirror/P6xxHS/

Hi there guys, Im new to this forum, been strugling in the last month to find the bios for the Clevo model n85_n870HL, I had a problem of constant BSOD after some windows 10 update, now I cant even format it without having a bluescreen, already changed ram and ssd and the problem still presist... PS Sorry about my English -
Guys, is the clevo mirror down?

Hi,
Any kind soul could provide the bios for Clevo P650SE to make the NVMe drive bootable? No luck in crawling on the Internet to find such bios (including Prema modified bios). -
Not sure what he is up to.
@palkeo ? -
Mb Series : Clevo p15SM-A I have a master card.
Bios version: 1.03.11pm v2
KBC / EC Firmware revision: 1.03.08
vga card : Nv geforce GTX 970M 6GB
VBİOS Revision : 84.04.22.00.f1
Vbios build date: 08/12/15
First I apologize for the bad English. My problem was in the
nvidia gtx 970m 6gb driver card 2015. I've updated to a newer
driver, code 43 gives error. There's no way I haven't tried.
I think the version of Bios is in the 2015 video card version
because it is prema mod. I could not return to the original bios.
Bios says it's not compatible.
I downloaded the original bios from this site
https://repo.palkeo.com/clevo-mirro...r&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=DonanimHaber
P15xSM-A / P17xSM-A Series
But it says incompatible? I have the letter x from p after 15 p15sm-a on my main board.
I wonder where I can find a compatible bios. Can you help me?
video card remained in 2015 version. Not updated to 2018 version?

It's Prema Mod, only your reseller can give you a BIOS update.

Victor laptop (pro2000) went bankrupt. They fled.
I got it from a company called pro2000 victor (Turkey) They fled. We can't reach them in any way. So we can't make a bios request from them. I couldn't find a proper bios from Clevo. I'm surprised what I should do.Last edited: Dec 7, 2018 -
Hello,
I've recently bought an used P775TM1-G and have a problem with BIOS update
I've received from my vendor updates for two EC and new BIOS (EC - 1.07.10, second EC - 1.07.02 and BIOS - 1.07.15)
I fallowed this procedureand both EC updated without an issue. But BIOS on other hand don't want to flash at all.
When I execute flash.nsh I'm getting this message:
"Search MSDM Table...Not Found
Syntax after analyzing ==
Script Error Status: Aborted (line number 13)"
The UEFI Shell from above procedure is no longer available and I've used the newer revision. Could this be an issue? It's the first time I use this update but received BIOS files lack files like: update.bat, flash.bat or flashme.bat so I can't update it from "DOS stick".
Laptop is working fine at the moment. BIOS is showing correct, new EC revision - 1.07.10.
I'm little bit worried if it's safe to use it this way (new EC old BIOS) but fan management seams to be much better now.
Before the update I went briefly through this thread but I didn't notice anyone with similar problem (please don't kill me if I missed it, I'm always getting blind when I search for something
).

Clevo p15SM-A gtx970m 6gb v-bios where can I find it. How to set up?
-
You have two choices:
- get a stock BIOS from paleko repository in the first post of this thread
- try to contact Prema and see if he can provide you with a BIOSKinsogu likes this. -
HI, I've received another update from my reseller - 1.05.13, looks like it's the same as I can find on Palkeo's mirror.
I've tried both of them (from reseller and Palkeo's mirror) with the same result
The same message as before:
"Search MSDM Table...Not Found
Syntax after analyzing ==
Script Error Status: Aborted (line number 13)"
I completely don't know what is wrong. Is it safe to try update in Windows? Maybe I should try some older revision first? - currently it is 1.05.03 -
Trying an older version sounds like a good idea. It sometimes helps to go to an intermediary version instead of updating straight to the latest one.kopytek likes this.
-
I've managed to update it to revision 1.05.13 in Windows
Only issue I had here, was that WMeset.exe didn't want to work so I used MeSetX64.efi in UEFI Shell and than flashed BIOS and ME in Windows.

Can anyone share bios which is fully unlocked in the chasis pa71hs-g

Hi
Anyone know where to get a stock bios for a clevo P870KM1-G running prema mod bios
I want to flash my bios back to a stock version -
I own a Clevo n875ep6 barebone from a reseller called Monster(Tulpar t7v16). Its bios is 1.07.11TFB1. There is a new bios for Clevo n875ep6. 1.07.13 is the latest. Would i brick my laptop if i flash this?
What does TFB1 stand for?
So, i asked my reseller and they gave me the latest bios. The only difference between them and palkeo mirror is a 8 mb TFB1 file. They are not willing to share any information as to what it includes or whether i can flash the clevo bios. All they are saying is that they do not recommend users update their computer's bios. They are not willing to share the EC FW.
Can i flash the latest EC FW from palkeo mirror alongside with my reseller's bios? -

Your reseller should offer one. -

Usually follow your resellers advice, was there a particular thing you are trying to fix? -
Hi, thanks for replying, the laptop I have is a p870km1-g with a prema mod bios
Cpuz says its a clevo and that's it, there is no reseller info on the laptop
The laptop has a custom prema mod bios version 1.05.08PM v1
I want to get rid of this custom bios and flash the laptop with a standard bios, is this possible without knowing who the reseller is
The last owner of the laptop customised the laptop with a custom boot screen which I am keen on removing but I don't know how to do this other than flash the laptop with a standard bios
Please help
The original seller I brought this laptop from is not communicating with me, I brought the laptop from ebay and me and the original seller had a disagreement resulting in me keeping the laptop with a part refund on my purchase price. I am new to forums and don't know how to contact prema, any help and support you can provide will be much appreciated
Hi prema
Can you please get in touch
I have purchased a laptop with your bios and I need to make a few amendments to it, the bios on the laptop has a custom boot screen and name of previous owner which I would like to remove. I am willing to reflash the laptop with your standard bios, please get in touch and help me -
Here are the p870km1-g stock firmware for your system: Always flash the EC before the BIOS:
EC: https://repo.palkeo.com/clevo-mirror/P87xKMx/EC10502.zip
EC2: https://repo.palkeo.com/clevo-mirror/P87xKMx/2ndEC10502.zip
BIOS/ME: https://repo.palkeo.com/clevo-mirror/P87xKMx/B10508.zip -
I want to see what has changed with the new EC. There are no changelogs.
-
thankyou prema for the bios files,
can you please advise how I go about flashing these on my clevo laptop
I made a dos start up disk (usb)
tried to launch ECflash.bat and I got a message 'cannot open file'?Last edited: Jan 19, 2019
