anyone can tell where I can find last verson of Intel Management Engine Interface driver for Clevo P150EM? my current 8.0.4.1441 but it must be old.

i have just installed the thx driver on my P170EM and and there is thx activation icon on my desktop, i opened it and i pressed activate (there is already a key typed that i can't modify )and after a moment an error message appeals and it haven't proceeded any further.if the thx drivers aren't installed will i have lower quality audio?

THX barely does any thing for headphones, but makes a difference for the speakers. I am sorry I don't know the solution to your problem. All I can say it install drivers from the first to last in order.

To others, I don't recommend installing ANYTHING not posted on the Sager support download section. Hot key utility 6.0045 is the latest official version.

 

I thought it was 6.00.62?

I'd be pretty disappointed, though not that surprised, if it's just a UI bump from what we have now to what Leschat's has been looking like.

 

I'm excited for this. It will likely include Enduro support and maybe some performance bumps (probably not related to Enduro, but relating to all GCN, which is good). Just seeing any progress that helps Enduro users will be a good sign. I will be really happy when the Sager puts out some thing for us. That driver will be boss.

 

Interesting news from benchmark3d... AMD Catalyst 9.001 September 4 – BenchmarK3D.
Just installed (custom with display driver only) and played Crysis 2. 2 maybe 3 fps more (ultra settings) than before with 12.7 beta. And I think GPU utilization was better.
This is worth trying.

How do you install the new 12.9 beta driver and the cap1? I have just formatted and have a clean os with only chipset driver and wlan so far. what the procedure with the video drivers? its my third time trying to install 7970m video drivers, and i have had bsod everytime + error under install.

I just installed intel vga driver, rebooted and then installed 12.9, and chose express installation.

What is the latest version of the hotkey utility for the Sager NP8130 (Clevo P151HM1)? TIA.

 

doesnt have a newer one than 3.3020 afaik. all the newer hotkey utilities are most probably incompatible with our machines since theyre for the EM series and include stuff like the backlit kb control.

It's been a long time since I've installed this and I forgot where I got it but I swear I got it in a link posted by someone on this very forum. I have the installer, though, if you want to give it a try?

one thing ive noticed: every time i boot my machine with hotkey 6.0062 installed it reverts back to balanced mode, no matter what power mode i set it to before shutdown. anyone know how to set it up in order for it to stick to the last option set?

before i was using version 3.3020. latest v3 i found was 3.3053 and i also stumbled upon a brand-new 6.0069, if anyone is interested

gonna try and see if the 6.0069 resolves the above-mentioned issue, otherwise im gonna revert back to the newest v3 hotkey.

edit: ok so 6.0069 didnt really work out for me either, so im gonna stick with 3.3053, that one works the way i want it to and keeps the power setting even after rebooting

I tried to install v6.0062 but it did not install i guess since it shows v6.0045 after reboot. It installed without error. So I have v6.0045 and what power mode I select it stays. Also it has nice GUI and more options against original v3. :thumbsup:

 

you installed without uninstalled the previous version? i tried before. have to uninstall the old verison first to make it show the correct verison number.

 

yep definitely uninstall the older version first. the GUI is not really important to me,as always its function over form besides,all the extra options offered in the v6 can easily be accessed by keyboard shortcuts as well and as far as ive seen i barely use any of them,if ever

Do we have to uninstall the previous versions for each before installing the new ones? The last time I did this for PhysX I had an error popup every time I boot into Windows.

Yeah, the within the week/coming days rumors were overblown.

 

About the Hotkey utility and P150HM, it seems that Floridan79 got it right. The 6.0045 keeps the settings after reboot, while 6.0062 & 6.0069 resets after reboot. I'll keep 6.0045 as it is easy to change power plans, both the clevo processor management and windows power scheme in just one go, instead of changing two with the older utility, first the hotkey and then windows power scheme.

 

I just uninstalled the Hotkey. I find the power settings with 6.0045 annoying since I can't customize them and if screws up with the ones I setup with the Windows power settings.

 

I just knew it was an unrealistic time frame they gave themselves, or the bloggers gave AMD. I said to the guys in these forums who were overly optimistic that the bloggers had already said "might come out next week" once before, so there was no reason to celebrate just because they said "might come out next week" once again. And now here we are... There are only about 2 weeks left in October, so I guess they can say "next week" two more times? Lol.

 

So which is the best Hotkey utility version for the P151HM1 then?
