    Well, there's always google.

    For example, there's:

    • ITC (aka ITChannel Pty Ltd).
      Their url is in the link on their name, and they have a separate Clevo webpage.
    • Pioneer Computers Australia, an old stand-by.
      Again, the url is in the link on their name. They rebrand Clevos under the label "Dreambook," and the Clevo D901C is called the DreamBook Power D90.
    • MegaPC doesn't appear to be a reseller, per se, but they do carry one Clevo model, the M660SE.

    Anyway, now that I've got the list started for ya, here's my google search on the terms Clevo Reseller Australia; there's a fair bit of chaff in the results, but perhaps you can cull some more useful hits (which you could then contribute to the forum :D ).

    D900C = blue
    D901C = black

    There are a number of vendors selling the blue chassis... one is Eurocom.

    Hey guys

    I'm in Australia and I got my Clevo M570RU through p4laptops.com.au, sold as an Metabox M57RU. They are resellers for Metabox who put together the notebook. Worked well for me as they are put together in Perth and I was able to pick it up from the shop and avoid shipping costs :)

    I tried to get the Official d900c Blue Version but I talked to John and others over at Eurocom and they told me that there Clevo discontinued the blue chassis, though you can still get it painted.

    hi guys,
    I am about the buy full configured clevo from xoticPC and willing to pay about 6300$.. ı have selected sager 3 years garantee with 30 days dead pixel warranty(459$).. but my question should ı need to select dead pixel policy(200$) too?? is it important or not?

    Probably not, unless you really, really want to make sure that you have all of your options open in the event you have a dead pixel. Xoticpc has a 30-day no-questions-asked return policy that applies to Sager-branded notebooks, as described here, which basically gives you the same result as you would get with the 30-day zero dead pixels policy. About the only savings you might get with the 0-dead-pixels policy is coverage for the shipping; other than that, if you find a dead pixel within 30 days, you can return it to xoticpc for a full refund (less original shipping costs) - that's a deal you can't beat and gives you for free almost exactly what you'd be paying for with the 0-dead-pixels policy (score another point in xoticpc's favor :D - just another reason why it makes no sense to buy from the national brands).

    You do not have to select BOTH the $200 Dead Pixel Guarantee AND the 3 Year Warranty + 30 Day Dead Pixel Warranty at $459.

    When you get the Dead Pixel Warranty together with the 3 Year Warranty (which you have already done) it only adds $100 to the standard 3 Year Warranty ($359 + $100 = $459), instead of $200 when you ONLY select the 30 Day Dead Pixel Warranty.

    Shyster1, it appears as if this user is outside of the USA, so the 30 Day Return Policy really wouldn't work for him very well.

    Is the only issue the shipping time of receiving the laptop from Sager, spotting a dead pixel and getting it back to Sager all within 30 days ?

    Or does the 30-day return policy not apply to international orders ?

    Am I correct to assume the 30 days starts from when it leaves Sager and the laptop must arrive back at Sager within the 30 days ?

    The 30-day policy that I referred to was from xoticpc, and it does not apply to international orders, so it's not just a question of shipping time, unfortunately. Whether Sager itself has a different policy - I don't know, although I would suspect that they would not have a better policy (Sager appears to make an effort not to compete directly with its own resellers - probably a wise business move).

    International customers would still have a 30 Day return period from the day the unit ships. (Full Refund minus shipping charges) :)

    its what sold me going with xotic their 30 day return policy on their sager. I have never seen a sager up close so if I do receive it and I'm dissappointed I can just return it within the 30 days and I should be fine, minus the 37 dollars for shipping.

    Woot should get mine this Monday.....

    Congratulations! You will LOVE IT :)

    Sager and most other Sager resellers offer the 30 Day Total Satisfaction Guarantee that you describe. It is actually Sager's return policy.

    paladin maybe you can help some of us out. a lot of us here are looking for the sager.bmp used in the bios to add to the reg clevo one. if you cant do anything like that i fully understand but because of the way sager sets up their bios flash i can not extract it with phoenix editor. i have everything needed here to modify the bios and ive been doing this for years. i would LOVE the logo from somewhere to be able to add in this version,

    on the other hand i have versions 1.00.08 and 1.00.08s here as you know one is sager one is clevo's. are they in fact the same minus the boot up screen or has there been anything done to the sager version that is different from the clevo one. i have not been able to get a answer from sager about this after asking numerous times. any help would be greatly appreciated i have also asked justin so im hoping one of you guys can help with this. thanks in advance for any info

    Sager would not authorize using their .bmp logo in the Clevo BIOS, or anyone else's modified BIOS.

    Sager is also not likely to release any information about the difference between their BIOS version and Clevo's. They tend to be rather protective of that information...it is considered proprietary.

    That's fine.... but would Sager even bother about releasing their own updated BIOS in the future, then ? Due to the 8800M GTX downclocking issue.....

    If you are referring to the down clocking while on battery that is a design feature and is not considered an "issue".

    Otherwise there is no known down clocking issue about which Sager is aware.

    No I'm not talking about battery.... but when connected.... Like I was playing Crysis for a while.... and the FPS dropped to half after half an hour or so.... restarting the game and resuming from the same spot gave me back my FPS... but it was resolved after I changed to the newer LV2G drivers :)
