Outstanding information, OP. I've never dealt with resellers before, since I owned a couple of Dells (posting on one right now, in fact!). Pretty surprised to see that these guys have top-notch reputation for their customer service and warranty. Combine that with competitive prices and airflow-friendly chassis -- I'm sold.![]()

This FAQ is more like "who to shop with if you're in North America", as it's sorely lacking any helpful options for international buyers.
If you're going to call this the 3.0, as a follow up to Gophn's 2.0 guide, you need to at a minimum put in as much effort as he did. Only including sellers who post on this small forum is shortsighted. -
I and everyone else realise that Mr Mysterious is doing this in his own time and appreciate the effort he has put in but if you ask for help by asking for other vendor recommendation and people supply them to you it would be nice to put them up even if its just a little hyper link with the country name next to it. -

I apologize for not putting the info up sooner, but the college semester is starting soon, and I have to prepare. I do visit on here every day and see if there's anything that needs to be done.
As discussed before, this is not a "North American" resellers guide. This is a guide for the resellers that have proven themselves in the Clevo subforum, who post regularly and get good feedback. Again, not meant to be a comprehensive list, just a little guide to help most people.
@Kevin: As opposed to putting in every reseller I can find, regardless of whether they provide good service or not, and post it on my guide? I've heard a lot of accounts of people who have used Gophn's guide and have been misled to finding bad resellers. I'd rather post a few good ones rather than posting all of them and risk misleading someone. I trust all of the resellers I have posted in my guide.

The only reseller in UK is kobalt? I couldnt find any on the 1st page and alot resellers from v2 are not selling anymore.

PCSpecialist sells the P170HM and P150HM, with all CPU and GPU options available.

Update: I have added Affordable Laptops and LBO to my resellers guide. Hopefully that makes everyone happy.
I do however, need the link to the profile of Jeff-Y@AL. Could someone find that for me?

Mr_Mysterious, thanks for your info. Made a HUGE difference in helping me decide between the 8130 and 8150

But I think the FAQ will be more helpful when deciding between those two, not the Clevo guide. Have you read that?

Great Guide
As I was reading through other threads in the forum, I realized that a lot of people do not know what the acceptable temperatures are for their notebooks under various situations (idle, different levels of stress). This is why people are worrying when their notebook reaches 70C during gaming. I'd suggest adding a section to this guide which addresses the matter -

All right; I have internet today so i will update the guide.
edit: Updated.
Mr. Mysterious -
I was wondering if you could update to include more resellers? (even though they might not have a presence on this forum). I found alot of them by simply going through the old Clevo guide posted a year or two ago, and having an updated list (especially for those in the EU) would be great.
-
I'd also suggest including this link in the FAQ

Thanks, this really helped a lot!

Awesome guide for both the reseller list and also the different models that are available. Couldn't think of a better place to start researching these laptops than this thread, wish I had found it earlier!
-
Why were the european resellers removed from the list?

How about MySN, DevilTech, both very good Clevo resellers in EU. -

and looking at Kobalt Systems - Performance Notebook & Desktop Computers , I now need to find a new Clevo supplier that ships to Israel without horribad shipping costs.
Any recommendations on such? -

Try deviltech.de? Germany is pretty close...

I just found these guys in UK: Gaming pc, custom pc, gaming system, custom gaming pc, gaming pcs
Mr_Mysterious: May I suggest you add another section to your initial thread something like: "Other Resellers (Unverified)" where you add everyone else who you don't want to include with the "big guys". Preferably by region. It would be very helpful especially for those who don't live in the USA. -
-
Email them and see how they respond. I bought Clevo barebones from various resellers across Europe, communication has never been a problem and none had a single word in English on their website.
-
do any of these sites sell keyboards only? Or better yet, just the keys?
-
Larry@LPC-Digital Company Representative
You would need to contact them directly for this.
You may not be able to get any stand alone keys. Sorry. -
Well I bought my laptop used so I didn't use any of these guys, but was wondering if they had a parts store where maybe I could buy just the keyboard
-
Larry@LPC-Digital Company Representative
Many times they have these in stock at the depot.

tyvm for the info +1

Thanks for the extremely helpful post. I just spent an hour or two going through the reviews and reading the articles posted here, like the battery article.
-
Thanks for the post!
However, it will be good to add links to the neccessary accessories you need for your Clevo/Sager; they are sure hard to find =( -
Do any of you guys really do that full charge/full discharge stuff with your batteries? I didn't realize it was such an important thing to do.
