    Ithink those scores shows that only one card is enabled.

    the D900F I am reviewing pulls 13K with single card... but 3DMark06 scores are very inflated with the CPU used

    3DMark Vantage would more more accurate for GPU comparison results.

    I was using stock setting. I didn't OC, I think I will install Win7
    The only way to know if sli is really enable is to do 3D vantage?

    you need to turn physx off in the nvidia control panel as it gives false cpu results.

    With a QX9300 @2.53 and a single 280M (with memory at 950), you're looking at low 12,000 in 3dmark06. At this point, it seems you guys just need a better driver. Does the NP9850 still have the 9400M chipset?

    Try this driver, it has worked well for the M17x, just no 9400M support: Dox's 182.46

    please some one kill me... that is really ugly IMO... even worst that "style-note" on some resellers... Cmon Clevo/sager they cold do better that this... (the Sager logo is OK, not good, not nice, just OC)

    SLI is definitely on :). Single GPU score would be anywhere from 5-6k average.

    Hopefully Clevo will release an update and let you guys get some Overclocking in on that thing . The cooling system in there has to be amazing and i cant see why it wouldnt have any . I know the pre production models did so hopefully its a temporary thing and they give it back to you.

    Man this no over clocking is a major bummer. With the release of the M17x and it's unlocked bios, Clevo will see how important OC bios options are to customers, whether they do something about it or not remains to be seen, I sure hope they do though, and hook you guys up with a new bios update that allows for some OC'ing.

    I myself would really like to buy a Clevo again at some point, but I have no loyalty when it comes to performance and build quality, and I will buy which ever better suits me at the time, an unlocked bios is a big deal, if Clevo wants to sell a 2000$+ SLI laptop and another company is selling the same thing which may actually be better, have as good a build quality for around the same price AND with an unlocked bios, then Clevo needs to do the same thing or at the very very least, allow some OC'ing for the extreme chips (which I'm sure they will eventually), because by not following suit, they are pretty much shooting themselves in the foot at this point.

    I really don't think it's fair to you guys who paid top dollar for extreme version CPU's to not be able to OC them, that's just blasphemous.

    i think the cooling system from the m980nu is far better that the m17x... but without any oc the m980nu stands verry low chance of selling (specially in the usa) ... I live here in portugal and i am really think'in of getting a m17x with 4870 gddr5 wen it come out....

    I have to agree here. I'm planning an upgrade in the next couple of months and the sale was Clevo's to lose and they may have done it. It was tough enough not having an option for a 17" notebook with dual 280m's, but now that I find out there is no OC or hybrid despite a 9400m being on board, the M17x has the technological edge as well as a better chassis. *sigh* :( Hopefully they can bring out some better goods soon.
