nope, hasnt been delivered yet, but i know from experience that it takes the customs a couple of days to do the clearance :) ill probably get it by the end of the week if everything goes as planned :)

concerning the message that u got: i had the same thing some time ago, it just switched back to "loaded onto delivery truck" after a while and actually got delivered the next day, so just wait and see whats up :)

omg, are u serious? lol thats messed up! are u gonna get a refund from DHL? i mean, thats just plain dumb negligence!

Well I hope you are right and its as simple as that.
I am just a little nervous since I am also working for a parcel delivery company and know what can go wrong (worst case)

But I think if I don't see any updates within this day i might start worrying

Hi guys, i know this is kinda out of topic but i really need ur advice. I own a relatively new, roughly 10 months old Sager NP8130 AKA P151HM n was thinking of upgrading it to ATI 7970M... I know my power supply is only 120W, and was thinking of purchasing a new 180W power supply like the ones in P151HM n installing the new card in? Any chance that might work ? Is the motherboard for P151HM n P150HM the same thing ? Any bios needs upgrading ? Thanks all.

    1. The mobo has the same id like the p150hm one but sager stated that these mobos has different components on them.
    2. You do not need any bios upgrades for that.

For more info check this threat : Click me
Personally i will give it a go this september :)

I wanted to thank you Wallzii !
Thanks to you, I've been able to flash a clevo non modded vbios with your dumped one (with the help of an alienware m18x as a secondary card ;) ) to pull into my asus g73jh (and btw, it's a working upgrade :D)

And, strangely, with the same vbios, I have different values of vcore that you may have...
I have 0.82v for powerplay enabled, 0.9v with powerplay disabled (idle freq.) and 0.98v for 3D... while you have 1v, and svl7 1.05v...
    very strange.......

about OCing, I think I have a pretty good sample : with this vcore of 0.98v, I have 975/1400 in 3dmark11 and 1000/1400 with vantage...
maybe with a little more of vcore... ;)

hm have u guys tried different kinds of programs to check the vcore? my 485m for example shows 1v in kombustor and nvidia inspector but 1.03v in gpu-z (and im 100% sure that i dont have the 1.03v mod vbios flashed ;))
btw nice upgrade and awesome ocing dude! :) what kinda scores do u get on ur asus machine?

haha i have the same thing going on right now and was wondering, i think its the 304.79 driver thats causing the issue, also, i reduced my kombustor temps to 63/64 after 5 minutes, and i added my extra fans in finally.

So far I've used 4 different sources for my core voltage readings. GPU-Z, Kombuster, HWMonitor, and a sidebar utility that svl7 pointed me towards. All the same reading, 1.00V @ 3D. It really doesn't affect anything, the only OCing I've done during gaming is with Metro 2033 so far, and 920/1500 was completely stable and offered some nice results. Until I see more voltage readings from other HM users, I'm not going to mess with it yet to see if I can push OC further.

    GTX680m from RJtech

I found my card. Got a letter yesterday afternoon from customs office.
I had to show them the invoice and my wire transfer and had to bring money to pay the VAT.
All in all it was still cheaper than getting it from mysn.

The hestsink is already attached to the card. Does that mean that it is already pasted with thermal compound?

    Thanks guys

Don't make that assumption. I would remove and repaste. Imagine firing up your thousand dollar video card only to have it fry instantly. For the vRAM maybe not bother, there should be a blue heat transfer pad, check to see that it exists, but for the GPU itself, remove and repaste.

I second that. Repaste just so you know its done properly. Especially with a gpu costing that much.

I'll third that suggestion. My card came with the heatsink already attached, and it was indeed pasted, but it isn't worth the risk if it isn't. Plus, why not get some better thermal grease on there, she deserves it!

Yeah, I think you guys might be right. Plus who knows what paste was used. i still have quite a lot of ICD 7 laying around.

As for the Vram its all covered in blue or purple thermal pads.

Any news about the bios the guy with the crazy overclock used?
Doesn't seem to have the throttling issues yours had.

the only ones i have seen the card run on so far were 302.71 and 304.79. have u tried both? maybe the driver .inf file needs modification to accomodate the 680M.
besides, didnt u get a driver disc as well? R&J mentioned before they would include one...

Everything went fine other than having to Mod the Nvidia Drivers to allow them to install. Another RJTech customer has the same problem too. Their hardware ID was also the same.

I am absolutely loving this GPU!

I don't plan to do any overclocking, maybe if there ever comes a time where it isn't enough power I might bother. However, since some recent games are hitting 79+ fps at 55C, I doubt I will have any issues anytime soon :p

    Hi,
I am that user :p but luckily to your modified inf I was able to install the driver.
I also seem to have the same problem like you did. I am no longer able to change the brightness with the fn key. But everything else seems to work good so far.

After I got everything working I played Skyrim for 2 hours, different locations (HD texture pack 1920*1080 Antialiasing 8, Anisotropic Filtering 16, fxaa on, and everything else maxed out)
Don't really know about the fps, but everything was running smooth
and max Temp was 73 C (my room temp was pretty hot at 25-26 Degrees)

So far I am really happy with this card :)

" I am no longer able to change the brightness with the fn key. "
Do you think it's a driver problem, bios problem, or the fact that the card was not design for HM laptop?
