Yikes, that price is really up there.. I budgeted 3500 for one and my config came out to 4k (which puts it at 3600 after Euro's student discount). So 3500 is probably doable through LPC. Still not sure I want to spend that much on a laptop though lol. I may tone it down and do a multi monitor setup with something cheaper?

is up with the second graphics heatsink with that heatpipe going round screws and a fan chosen for having spares lying around rather than actually fitting the machine?

That combined with borrowing the assembly from other en machines show serious corners cut imo.

I wonder which would be more worth it, a 370 or a 270WM :( I'm kind of looking to buy another one to go with this P170EM I have. I've grown very fond of the myth nyx1712 and I'm really thinking of getting another one this time an SLI. but the mythlogic site doesn't have SLI 680Ms with the nyx7212 setup is that a limit or is it not compatible?

Thats a we haven't gotten a full video card list on the "revised" P270wm yet, however, we fully expect it to be compatible with the 7970m and 680m. We will also carry the P370 which will be 7970m or 680m also.

This looks like a terrible mess of cables and copper sinks! Damn, they did a good work on the outside, but the insides are....not cool. My 150HM is clean & tidy inside, but this...
HOW IN THE WORLD are we supposed to clean it??
Im confused...is there even a way of cleaning it? Im not up for the idea of unmounting everything in order to clean it. Look at all those CABLES!

You'd take out the fans to get the fins with compressed air and then carefully work around the heatpipes.

    Hi guys,

we received our sample machines and we are benchmarking them to death. So far everything looks fabulous, including the interior design which sports the longest SLI cable ever conceived!
We will show this machine to a larger crowd at the Gamescom 2012 in Cologne (15th to 19th August 2012) including hand-on playtests and everything you could wish for!

Please enjoy these fine high-res pictures:

    Hi there,

I can't give you the details but we tested this baby with the maximum configuration possible, including XM CPU, RAM and Hard Disks. It pulled just above 300W out of our wall socket and ran without any problems for days.

Looking foward to Gamescom, there's going to be a party.. =)

Fan on the left has less blades, it might be running quieter compare the the right fan. The actual fan on the right is 6cm wide and 1.5cm high, the one on the left does seem taller with the same width.

Considering the 170EM was floating around $3k for what I wanted, I just may have to switch to this thing if I can get a 680M SLI setup for not much more if I make some sacrifices in other spots that I can just upgrade later!

Can't wait to see what Mythlogic can end up building with this thing!!!

If you're talking about me, then not likely.. :)

I just ordered (and wired-transferred the money) for their Clevo P170EM, I doubt I'll be able to change it. But really, what's so good about that 370EM that is worth waiting for? (I don't plan on SLI that much, especially when it comes to the price of that 680M).

By the way if you play arund with Eurocom's config for P370EM, it seems to have Optimus on it, if you choose HD7970M it still says Optimus on it, I'm going to assume it will come with Enduro if you choose HD7970M .

I wonder what the performance difference between this and the m18x will be considering some of the differences in hardware and the fact bios settings are generally much more customizable by the EU on the AW units! I would really love a SLI setup, be it in a AW, 370EM or a 270WM DTR.

We can confirm by having reviewed both of our samples: the P370EM does not have Optimus and it will not have Enduro. There will be no hybrid graphics on the P370EM. That's final.

We don't have any shipping date yet but we will make sure to be the first ones on the European market who can actually deliver.

If you don't plan to get SLI into your notebook and if you don't mind hybrid graphics, the P170EM is still the right choice.

Apparantly Eurocom just did a quick copy/paste on the P170EM without putting too much work into it.

The P370EM does not have hybrid graphics, Clevo confirmed this to us a long time ago.

YEA, BABY! THIS IS WHAT I WAS HOPING FOR!! Sorry for the caps.

And yes, EUROCOM likes to be unprofessional and copy-pastes everything that they can, so the config dropdown menu looks like a heap of junk and text.
People who are interested in Clevo laptops are more or less knowledgeable and when you make your website a mess with non-acurate stuff, people generally dont buy from there.
    Their loss.

Okay, MySN, get those 370EM's in stock as soon as possible and dont forget to write in this thread when you get them!
I want one and Im gonna be one of the first customers to order it!
Now, the true power of AMD 7970m will be unleashed. Enduro, good riddance! And Nvidia, nice knowing ya. AMD will stomp over your GTX680m like its a baby toy. Botch price-wise and performance-wise.

Whoever is still wondering whether to wait or to get P170EM - wait a bit longer! The 370EM comes with Creative X-FI MB2 full-sized software (not only THX), has a matte screen bezel, doesent have optimus and enduro, which cripple performance, its only 3.5kg, features a new cooling vent design, looks cool and will rock all games & programs out there.

Thank you for that reply, you guys sure are professionals. I'm glad I finally chose you.

Ummm...I don't want to spoil your early party, but Mr. Fox, here:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/sag...o-public-get-backing-prominent-blogger-5.html
(message #50, the last one in this page) has two 7970M in Crossfire, and he's quite unhappy about this whole thing. It seems AMD not only messed up with the Enduro stuff, but also with their Crossfire as well. It's not meant to start another AMD vs nVIDIA fight, just as a heads-up. I would skip the current AMD line altogether right now, as it seems overall unreliable.

There's a saying that goes: 'I'm not rich enough to afford cheap things', I think it applies here nicely as well. You already gonna fork quite a bit on that laptop, I say fork a little more and avoid the problems.

Okay, Im thankful for this information. Im gonna take a look at the link right now.
AMD, why are you doing this to us....the 6990m is so great, why did you have to put Enduro in your next flagship...
Thats like buying a new road bike with thin tires and lots of speed and putting a kid's "learn-to-ride" wheels on it.

I dunno. I don't have anything against them and don't have experience with them specifically, but I wouldn't order from One or their ilk, even for 200-300 Euros less than their major competitors. And especially when it comes to a pre-order. Everything might be OK, and then again you might get a lemon or wait forever until you'll get your laptop, just like what happened to me with a different store. If you already pay the big bucks for such a beast, get it from the major companies who know how to treat a customer and can deal with issues, if needed.
