Clevo P870DM Drivers Mirror

check the new driver posted in the OP. This is the latest one from Clevo and is super duper awesome. GSYNC works perfectly, GPU clock speeds are normal, 0 issues. Took me 6 hours to download them from the slow CLEVO servers so enjoy a hassle free download

 

Doesnt work. The problem isnt that simple and i have tried everything possible.
Using MDPS drops to P8 but only the P8's highest frequency and then only jumps to and from P0 nothing in between.

Will figure it out eventually.

Are those 369.09 or something else? The file name seems confusing. Im at work, so cant check.

BIOS updates only come from the resellers.
If you want the latest stock BIOS, then look here: https://repo.palkeo.com/clevo-mirror/P870DMG/

But be careful, only flash the BIOS relevant to your model (like G-SYNC or non G-SYNC)

 

Looks like there was a BIOS update for our machines in late June.

Bro, this file 1.05.08 broken, i cant open, Archive will show message about file damaged. Can you reUpload if you have original bios for clevo version 1.05.08 and will send a link to me. And if you have UNLOCKED bios im ready to buy. Please let me know if you have it. Will wait reply.

 

No need to buy as that is stock BIOS. I will need to contact the person as its not me who handles these BIOS uploads

That's the way I do it exactly, the moment I load the IRST Driver, after about 30 secs both drives appear

I placed the RAID Driver folder in the root of the USB where the Windows 10 Setup files are.

I used RAID Driver v14.8.0.1042

Killer WLAN Driver Driver downgrade from v12.0.0.270 v12.0.0.260 due to frequent disconnections with the v12.0.0.270 driver. The v12.0.0.260 is the latest one provided by Clevo anyway so all good.

 

Everything requires testing & I must say.... no problems. After a while you get tired of the lack of support from manufacturers (which will happen inevitably) & you just start testing things yourself. A good example would be GPU drivers. I highly doubt anyone just sits and waits for the next Clevo certified nVidia driver file, when they get the new game & that game ready driver is already up on nVidia's website.

 

Guys, can you please help me with a bios update.
I don't want to brick my machine so I better ask for advice because things are not clear enough for me

I have an stock, non branded Clevo P870DM-G with G-Sync 1080 75hz screen.
In the bios the numbers are as follows:

ME FW Version : 11.0.0.1183
MB Series : P870DM-G
BIOS Version : 1.05.03
KBC/EC Firmware Revision: 1.05.03

VGA Card: NV GeFOrce GTX 980
VBIOS Revision : 84.04.88.00.2E
VBIOS Build Date : 09/21/15

Reason for flashing : although my machine works perfectly there are some instances where the fans go nuts even if the GPU is in the low 50C and so is the CPU and a new bios might solve the issue.

I just want to flash the latest stock bios+EC (non branded) for my machine... can you please help me pick the packages and tell me what is the proper order of flashing.

I would have liked an EC+BIOS pack like Prema used to make... with bat files for noobies (step1.bat, step2.bat)

Have you used/use XTU on your laptop? Because this junk interferes with the fans(the fans go nuts).

Yes, I've used it to set the CPU to 4.1 on all the cores... I guess you can call it a mild overclock... also to cut down the voltage by 0.128 to improve the temps....
Do you have any advice for the fans behaviour? Can't uninstall XTU because I don't have any alternative for overclocking or subtracting voltage for better temps...
Also, I can't have it updated to any Prema bios... I'm still hoping that one day he will release one of the old bioses that he created for P870DM-G... for free..
But for the time being... Being under warranty It's wiser to stay stock.

 

Uninstall XTU. Do a NVRAM Reset(clear cmos battery for resetting your bios). Wipe your OS disk. Get rid of that Virus!! Then a new clean OS install. Never ever use XTU again. Throttlestop can manage your processor OC/under volt on a much better way. Guidelines for use of TS (video from @Mr. Fox in Throttlestop guide - YouTube). Also ask the Throttlestop author @unclewebb if you need more help.

Thank you, I know, I did my homework before asking for help here BUT :
1. the latest bios (06/24/2016) is for P870DM not for P870DM-G and it's corrupted when i try to unpack it
2. the latest EC (06/24/2016) unpacks ok but I am not sure what version to flash because there are 2 inside
3. the 03/15/2016 bios is ok, unpacks ok but it does not have an EC to flash.. not sure what EC to flash with the bios

 

As far as the EC I know that you have to flash booth of them.
First the MainEC05 and after that the 2ndEC02

This is the change log;
1. Main EC 1.05.05 and 2nd EC 1.05.02 for P870DM and P870DM-G.
2. Support “Fn + d + power button load BIOS defaults” function.
3. Refer to readme_EC.txt to update main EC.
4. Refer to readme_2ndEC.txt to update 2nd EC.

Clevo servers make me feel like I am on a 56K Dial up connection even though I have a 100MBPS Down/20 MBPS up connection.... this is what I am dealing with at the moment:

 

Maybe you have a feeling what I struggle with(every day ). In a good day 0.35 up and 4.4 down. This before my children and wife connect their computers and smartphones And of course same time use their tv in each room!! I feel with you bro

 

With all the advancement in technology and having the best computers in the world, poor Clevo cannot upgrade their server from its ancient 128K ISDN connection from the stone age

 

I downloaded the Control panel from the Europe server and it's not .83, it's .73 still. I'm trying the one from Asia as it's 1MB bigger but it says it's going to take 5 hours

 

I hope you have faster download speed than @Phoenix HAHA
