Glad that Clevo removed the 3D Vision driver from this driver since they probably know our laptops don't have a 3D Screen

So is this 369.29 driver better than the 372.72 available from Nvidia?

On a side note if you came in here to grab the GPU driver for different chassis then this driver doesn't contain entries for the GTX 1060

 

1) no time for benching

2) not interested in benching as my taptop and GPU are yesterware.

better with GSYNC support. the one from nVIDIA I feel GSYNC isn't working properly as the videos/games are not smooth as if GSYNC was not really working.

 

Everything gets yesterware once you have bought and paid for it bro(Damn Clevo ). And Skylake are still the last i7. Enjoy what you have. Or buy a new taptop or build a desktop. BGA should in any case no, or not be an option for you. So it is up to each individuals of us what we will do. I will not jump on everything that's new longer, without knowing the future of my purchase.

if you really want it, use a download manager like Internet Download Manager (which is the best) and start the download. once it hangs, just cancel it and wait for 10 minutes then hit resume again.

Once it stops midway again, repeat until you finally have it all downloaded.

Clevo, never again! They only know how to take our money but cannot get a simple drivers download site to work properly. We're in 2016 for God's sake

offcourse not, only the intel chipset software, Management Engine Interface, IRST, GPU and Audio Drivers, Card Reader Drivers, and LAN/WLAN Drivers

Rest are not.

Go to Sager's website they had Windows 7 drivers for the P870DM but last time I checked they didn't have them for the DM3

 

Hello Phoenix Step 11 do you need Killer Suite v1.1.59.1701 if you installed LAN Killer e2400 Driver v9.0.0.37 from step 2? & how you install Intel AC8620 WLAN Driver v19.1.0.4 / BT v19.1.1627.3533 driver? you do advance install? I pretty much want it the way you install it xd.and bluetooth driver & WLAN says for ac8620 but i have ac 7265 & does it matter? for that install you do custom typical or complete? SoundBlaster X-Fi MB5 AP v1.00.18 is a great sofware but I dont like how creates creative updreg and windows host process on startup anyway remove this ?

 

The drivers I linked for Killer are the individual INF Files folder, thus, you install them manually by going to device manager / update driver. Never install the Killer suite it has always been buggy.

For the Intel part, I just install them using the default options, nothing fancy in there.

Please make sure to reboot after every driver install.

Also, after you install a driver, wait for 5-10 seconds before rebooting even when prompted as some stuff is still being identified in the device manager in the background.

I found that by accident, I once installed the Intel Management Engine Interface and rebooted right away, only to discover at a later stage that I have many even log errors pertaining to IME. I know wait for 30 secs after the installation of IME then I restart even if I wasn't prompted to and I never saw those errors again.

Oh by the way, the moment you install the SoundBlaster app, use Autoruns to not only uncheck the updreg.exe entry but delete it entirely. I once forgot to do that and the moment I restarted I got an error that stupid updreg.exe caused an error and is shutting down. It is just a registration reminder and no one needs it.

Yeah did like updreg on my startup items but about control center I really don't like it will LED stay the color I choose when I uninstall it? Should I use revo uninstaller to remove?does leave a lot things in the registry?

 

yes use Revo Uninstaller and after a few reboots though, your lights will go back to Blue. Just live with it and consider that it's the only color this taptop comes with

 

Stupid question why does sound blaster use Windows host process(rundll32)? Noticed it on startup item when I installed.

Yes, then set it to movie profile while watching movies and see the difference. Or gaming profile while playing

When you reboot, you have to choose the profile again though as it reverts back to default, Buggy junk

Probably 2 things. Clevo's Bloatware and a wish for better performance with new drivers

Here's a mirror for Clevo Control Center 5.0001.0.88.

 

Do not install that Control Center v5.0001.0.88 guys. That is for the P65xRP6 and according to @Prema , only the correct Control Center version must be installed as per the laptop model due to different fan profiles.

Additionally, that version contains the built in XTU which doesn't even work with the P870DM model!

 

And we don't want XTU services running

I really need some help.
This is the case:

Long history short.
I bought a kunshan P870DM PC Laptop through www.Multicom.no here in Norway. ( It`s the same as Clevo p870, just rebranded)
That PC is Thunderbolt 3 enabled With an USB-C port.
I have a Thunderbolt 2 harddrive.
I bought an Kanex TB3-TB2 adapter to use my harddrive.
But my computer wont recognize the adapter when i put it in.
I contacted Kanex, they said my firmware/driver was to old.
They told me to contact the manufacturer.
I contacted www.multicom.no
They sent me alink to new drivers, but the drivers was old.
They told me to contact Clevo.
I contacted Clevo, in China and in England. No reply.
I`ve been reading allot here on the forum. But i`m afraid to try to update the BIOS or such, to brick my laptop.

So my question to you guys:
Anyone has the same issue?
Do i have to update my BIOS?
HOW do i find the right drivers?

My TB3 application software is 15.2.34.5 And that is the only information it shows.
When i plug in the adapter and it shows under device manager "USB 3.1 eXtensible host controller - 1.0!" it says driver: 10.0.14393.0

I would very gratefull if anyone can help me.

You need a TB firmware update not a TB driver update, and a BIOS update won't fix it either.

Which version of the P870DM do you have? If it's the original then have look at this thread

the ones on there may work, worst it will do is say it's not compatible and fail to update.

If it's the newer DM-2/3 then those updates won't work and you will need to get one from your distributor. Clevo don't normally deal direct with end users.

Also if the adapter is anything like the Startech one then you shouldn't see anything in device manager for the adapter itself only the device connected to it.

What TB 2 drive is it?
