No need to install new chipset driver, as long as you already have installed one from before. Only install the latest version when you install new or re-install your OS.

Sometimes updates present new problems, producing more updates─ but that doesn't make them not worth investigating (how would developers know what to patch unless people reported their problems?).

Is it ok if you could insert BIOS from both Clevo and Sager? I would also suggest putting in latest vBIOS for each GPU if that could be implemented. Also is it possible if you could possibly make and EFI boot option?

I'd be willing to test if needed to.

I will do testing this week!
Make sure to add a HUGE 'disable your Virus scanner before you proceed' dialogue.
If it decides to start scanning, sending files to the cloud and delays a part of the flash...well ;)

    Added to the app.
I did not add the Realtek driver since it includes work done by someone else and he might not want it included in a app that belongs to a comercial brand.

Is there no one doing Atheros (Killer) wireless driver mods anymore?
The stock options are pathetic to say the least...can't even select the antenna to use much less the transmit power...

Hello @Phoenix don't know if this is normal but when go to dxdiag with graphic drivers in the first page nVIDIA GeForce Driver v376.60 I get in the notes in Display is this normal for this driver?

The file C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nvcvi.inf_amd64_8ade87d93df58c5a\nvd3dumx.dll,C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nvcvi.inf_amd64_8ade87d93df58c5a\nvwgf2umx.dll,C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nvcvi.inf_amd64_8ade87d93df58c5a\nvwgf2umx.dll,C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nvcvi.inf_amd64_8ade87d93df58c5a\nvwgf2umx.dll is not digitally signed, which means that it has not been tested by Microsoft's Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL). You may be able to get a WHQL logo'd driver from the hardware manufacturer.

which nVIDIA driver did you install? I never go to that DXDIAG info thing. If you are not facing any issues then you don't need to hunt down such messages or event log error messages otherwise you'll lose your brain

FYI the ObsidianPC driver update tool is excellent! I selected the P870DM3 profile as the hardware is near identical to the DM1. Only the Control Center version of x.50 needs to be manually installed (DM3 ver is x.101). For that reason don't do the one-click install thing.
@Phoenix please update OP with this info and link?

Obsidian-PC has CCC version xxxx.73 in their files section for the DM-G. It seems to work OK.

Don't know if this is relevant here but to get the Overclock fan profile I edited the CPU.ini and uncommented the top two lines, it runs the fan according to the Overclock profile (ramps up fan speed aggressively under load rather than Automatic which allows temps get ridiculous first) even though the box doesn't show up in CCC as I don't have XTU installed.

    Realtek_HDA_v6.0.1.8105
Requirements: v6.0.1.8036 previously installed to keep DLLs (8105)

For those who already installed v6.0.1.8036 above, just overinstall 8105 using "have disk method" -> HDXMB3H.inf *Second Option* as shown below (no need to reinstall certificate).
First, kill audio service then copy RltkAPO64.dll to C:\Windows\System32 (follow instructions above...installing certificate).

@txcpaul - Your reseller should be able to provide you with it by email if it's not published on their site (probably isn't).

It's worth getting the reseller when purchasing the machine so you know who can supply firmware. Failing that contact a regional reseller for you.

The link to the Thunderbolt Firmware files is not working anymore (as mentioned before). Could someone please re-upload them? They are nowhere to be found on the internet and my reseller has not responded yet. I have attached an HP Omen Accelerator to my laptop with a 1080 Ti inside, but it's doing absolutely nothing at the moment.

Ahh... Sorry, I didn't see the previous page... I was thinking Drivers, but you need the TB3 firmware, correct? Still no word from your reseller? Does your reseller have an email address, tech support, sales, anything?

Seems odd, perhaps a different reseller can help.

Also, perhaps someone on this thread may have more suggestions - http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...ith-thunderbolt-3.784273/page-2#post-10386893

It mentions while intel is in charge of the firmware, they do not do the distribution. My guess is this eventually comes out from the reseller.

My reseller said that they don't have the firmware either, and that the reason why Clevo doesn't have it is probably the fact that they don't want to pay licensing fees to Intel, or something like that.

I really hope something can be done. HP is coming to pick up the Omen Accelerator for a refund, so I have one day left to get this up and running... if ever. I can't believe that a hardtop that - hardware-wise - is perfectly capable to support an upgrade like this, has simply come to a standstill the very moment it was released.
