Are you applying the liquid metal thermal paste between the cpu and ihs or between the ihs and heatsink or both?

Deliding the cpu will have a far larger impact on your temps than just repasting between the ihs and heatsink. Mine idles in the low 30's (fan doesn't go on) and mid-60's (with full fan), about 5C more when using automatic fans. I understand delidding is not for everyone, but it does make a huge difference.

50C idle or underload? if thats idle, thats high. Mine sits around 36-38C at idle.

I only have a single 1080 so that might be the difference, however I believe other users with dual gpus have lower idle temps than yours. You should post in the main P870DM2/3 thread and you'll get a lot more responses. Do you mean "optimal performance settings" in clevo control center or in nvidia control panel.

When I delidded my cpu I used CLU between the cpu and ihs, I also used CLU between the ihs and the heatsink. For the gpu I have used IC diamond, but a generous amount as the heatsink is known to not fit the best.

well GPU's 43-45 now at idle. so you didn't use CLU in your GPU? i use ic diamond but i heard that it scratches the die on the gpu. Optimal Settings on Nvidia Control Panel and Balanced Power Settings on Clevo Control Center

As I said you are probably better off asking in the main thread whether your GPU temps are normal, as I only have one GPU. I have heard from a lot of people on the forum, as well as HIDevolution and a couple of other resellers that they now all use IC Diamond on the GPU as the fit of the heatsink is not good enough for liquid metal. Furthermore, the resellers have commented that they are worried that the liquid metal could run onto the motherboard potentially destroying it, as laptops are often moved and put on their sides. I don't think the scratches are an issue.

I might give CLU on the GPU a go when I have the time.

Ok I'm going to experiment once I get the CLU delivered. You think the heat sink might need a few adjustments on the gpu?

Patching Realtek drivers v7989 to include DD and DTS, then started messing with existing DHT4 mods, preserving DTS, far better sound quality than SBXFiMB5.
Fully unlocked DHT4, Dolby Tuning and Profile Creator, so be careful otherwise you can easily ruin the internal speakers.

    @Papusan @Prema

I just noticed something guys, I am running the old .50 CCC without the built in XTU bloat but now I realized that it doesn't support changing the lid lights only the keyboard lights

I might have to install the latest one and disable the XTU startup items right away

    Just edit the OEM.INI file in CCC directory before you install it;
    Change SupportXTUFanTable=1 to SupportXTUFanTable=0
This will omit XTU and only install CCC. Worked fine on my .90 install!

I have A "signing tool", but can you explain to me what you did if possible (and any tools needed)? I think the signing tool I have is v1.31b if not mistaken. I've got the latest drivers for realtek but do not have anything later than R2.79 of the file(s) that would be needed.
Would you be willing to help an idiot out in getting the realtek drivers unlocked? I'm INSANELY jealous of you - DYING to get the drivers unlocked, BADLY! heh
(Oh, if you haven't already noticed, I'm the idiot needing help...) heh

    Thanks,

I figured it out, I THINK! I've got it working just like yours, but did you use the R2.75? I have the R2.79 (sys & dll) but it would show incorrect driver version number. It probably was correctly installing the latest, but I wasn't sure so I used R2.75 instead.
Thanks & sorry to bug you!

    @j95 -
Got PM, but it was a 'no go'. Did EVERYTHING you said, to the "T"... Still would not work. I could use the 2.75 DLL if I had to, though I'd prefer not to. However, I've tried at least a dozen time to install this and get it working, but it just won't. The file appears to be signed (I THINK) but going into device manager and clicking driver details, the one file is NOT showing digitally signed. So, I'm thinking that I'm in deep fudge and could really use the help...

Sorry for trouble & thanks for trying to help an idiot like me!
I hope to talk VERY soon, but if not I completely understand!

I honestly have done EVERYTHING exactly as suggested and it still hasn't produced a "positve", yet... Anti-Virus wasn't even installed the first few times I tried it. So, was hoping i could bug the crap outta ya and get a little more support...

If anyone wants to try the first release of my Drivers app with One Click Install all drivers + Driver Updates checker, here you go:
    https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9I1SxJWXOp1VnZFeXh0bGpoeWM

So what it does is give you two options:

1- If you just installed windows it will fetch all latest drivers install them and register the version number you installed.

2- Then for future usage you can check for updates by going to Main Drivers and Options tab, it will compare latest installed and the version in our server, if there´s a update you can fire away.

The app keeps settings stored on a .ini file, so if you use the app in a pen, it will always remember the settings, if you re-install windows there´s a "RESET driver version" button to start over.
If one install fails you can force it to re-enable the update button.
The app also got a update function so you can keep updating it, im sure ill release a lot of those! At the moment im replacing actions done by .bat files and adding those to the c++ code.

Plans for next releases: BIOS Updates with the app + Windows Tweaks, fix the layout when you have windows scaled, anything above 100% makes the app look bad :p

I would like to get some feedback!

Nop my tool uses our shop dedicated server. All drivers are the latest just like the ones in this topic, i will keep updating them.
The app will restart laptop after a full one click install. Individual drivers lock the app when you start installing it and will recommend a restart, but you are not obliged to do it.

    Please try it out!

I just thought about something, there are drivers (like control center) that should be uninstalled first, restart, update new. I will add that extra step in next update.

About the so much requested bios update in the app, im still not able to flash EC under windows, Prema will help i guess :)

Btw just updated it to 1.00.22 -> https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9I1SxJWXOp1VnZFeXh0bGpoeWM

if for some reason the in app updater is not working do it manually as there was a bug that might also break the updater.

    New in this version:
-Fixed a bug where the "Download All" was not connecting to proper slot after full package uncompressed.
    -Changed some debug console reports

    Supported Models:
    P650RP6
    P670RP6
    P650/P670RS
    P751DM2
    P775DM3
    P870DM3

First app request i got: "Get app to find installed driver versions even if you did not use the app to install it..." I´m focusing on this now, if any c++ guy wants to point me to the right direction please do so!

In the meanwhile i will keep removing stuff being done by batch files and move it to c++ code.
Although this will probably mean i will have to get a Windows Permission Elevation on app start, something which i don´t like, if any coder knows of an alternative please let me know!

It should work on any branded system.
In a future update just be careful with BIOS updates, don´t do those.
When this is finished i will make a version for NBR and allow you guys to maybe select your brand.

Just downloaded to take a look and it doesn't scale on a 4K screen so I can't read most of the tabs properly. Looking forward to trying it out.
