Something to add to opening post - Finland :)

The CDON.com sells also in Finland some set of Clevos rebranded as Thor. For the time being these have been very good choice regarding bang/buck. Sadly the models have been varying a lot and some of the models have been available only short time.
    Pelitietokoneet: THOR - Kodin elektroniikka - CDON.COM

I have no managed to find any other reseller in finland selling Clevos.

I've been a member of these forums for quite a while now and while I don't post a lot, I do read a lot and try to stay current on things. Threads like this are great, thank you.

Unfortunately though, it seems like mySN in Germany is not living up to the good reputation they have with respect to communication. I have a friend in Germany who sent them an email over a week ago with a question about a system she wanted to build. They guarantee an answer within 48 hours, but like I said, it has been over a week and she has heard absolutely nothing. It makes her wonder what other promises they are going to break should she decide to buy one from them.

Can anyone provide a positive recommendation from one of the other dealers in Germany, such as NEXOC? Thank you.

if within 48 hours your friend has not had a reply then it would of been worth forwading it to them again with the original sent date as sadly sometimes emails do go missing.
which email did she send it too by the way?

Just got to say that XNB (Netherlands) is a realy good reseller. They even gave me a free install kit for my SSD when I email'd them that I was going to add an SSD in myself! Also, they respond to most emails within a day. Great custommer support, loads of options to configure your Clevo... I strongly recommend this one if you are from the Benelux.

Hello everybody. I just registered here and wanted to ask what is people's experience with XMX Gaming Store (one shop.de) and do they offer qwerty laptops. I'm in Belgium currently, so I guess I don't need to pay any additional taxes or similar, apart from shipping costs, right? (sorry, I'm pretty new at this).

I recently bought a Clevo from mysn.de and was able to request a qwerty layout keyboard. The laptop was delivered all the way to Romania, no fuss about it.

Ok, I checked them, but their prices seem to be a lot higher compared to oneshop.de (unless I'm missing something.)

Cannot really comment on prices of others but I ordered one of their barebones, not the XMG branded models and it wasnt that expensive. Plus they are way more affordable than anything I can get around here: maguay.ro offers clevo based laptops, but they are like 20-30% more expensive. The only downside on my order is that the service is done in Germany and I have to ship my laptop there. Hopefully that won't be the case.

Sorry for the late answer, I have the internet only at work ATM. I checked all of them. Belgian sites don't offer a lot of customization, and mySN all come up at about ~1500 euros for i7 4700MQ/GTX770M/8GB RAM/1TB HDD/Intel N-6235 Wirless, while the same configuration is about ~1300 euros on XMX Gaming Shop (it's given on first page), unless I'm missing something. Also, on that site I can't pick keyboard, so I'm not sure if it's qwerty. So I asked what's people experince with them.

Prices can vary a lot. Last autumn I wanted to get myself a new Clevo, after careful evaluation, I concluded that the best and cheapest way to have a gaming laptop is to buy a barebone and get the rest of the components yourself. I did a lot of excel calculation to get to this conclusion. Even if I bought the configuration I wanted from the cheapest store in the EU, at that time, by building my own laptop I would still save a bit more than 100 euro. PLUS: I get extra warranty on all the components.

Great reply. I've done some heavy modification on my W860CU too.

So this is as valid as it gets! But if one doesn't want the hassle, or if you feel you aren't technologically skilled enough to do this, you can always go the easy way ; )

Ok MySN is teaming up with SharkGaming.dk in Denmark, not sure whether they've acquired them or just using them as a reseller.

They are officially eating up Europe.

Need to check all of this out.

Does anyone know a European reseller who offers overclocking of GPU & CPU? I only found PWNPC, and too bad XMG doesnt offer OC, plus they they dont have the p370sm3.

To start I must just say that this collection of re sellers is very impressive !

I just wondered if anybody knows of a site where I can find the same for Desktops? Cause I need a desktop in addition to my 150em.
I live in Poland (studying, Originally from Norway), so for example German sites are quite good.
I did find Gamer PC und High-End Gaming PC Systeme zusammenstellen through this collection, and they look very promising :)

    Hello,

Has anybody here contacted, or bought a laptop from linux-onlineshop.de? I have tried to contact them by e-mail, but haven't received answers in a week. I get automatic responses with a ticket number, so my mails are getting through alright. It seems rather fishy.

Well, it has now been 10 days since I initially tried to make contact with them. I have sent two e-mails, receiving an automatic response with a ticker number (presumably to inform me that it has been filed and will be responded to). None of them have been answered. I also tried to use the contact form on the website. That ended up giving me a new ticket number, that has not been responded to in 4 days.

To me this is pretty unacceptable since I have been pretty much ready to place an order since my initial contact. Now I don't think I can trust them to deliver.

Yes. I have made contact with them now. Initially I had the problem that the Swedish mySN does not sell the model I am interested in, while the German and UK arms did. They have some agreement to only sell to their respective markets. However, the UK based mySN has now told me that they can make an accomodation and let me make a purchase despite me being outsite of their market area. Their support has been great so far.

Before trying to make contact with linux-onlineshop.de, I had preferred them due to offering lower prices. But if that means they will be impossible to contact, it seems rather useless.

I'm now leaning towards making the purchase from mySN UK.

and this is why this is such a great forum for information on suppliers.

as the saying goes, the cheapest is not always the best as nothing is free now adays and the cheaper it is theres always going to be corners cut to make up the difference.
next time you speak to them mention that i pointed you in their direction.

Speak of the devil.. An hour after my previous post, I got an answer from linux-onlineshop.de. No indication that the reply has any relation to my post here (I have no idea how much resellers follow threads like these).

They apologized for the slow answering and claimed to be reorganizing their support, and that it's a bit chaotic at the moment. I don't know what to take away from this, but I am still leaning towards buying from mySN due to the higher perceived reliability, despite lower prices at the shop in question.

Well, they don't sell the model I am interested in. I don't need a discrete graphics card, so the alternative they have is unnecessarily overpriced for me.

I highly recommend scan UK. I ordered mine last Tuesday(14th) and notebook arrived Saturday (18th). I asked few questions before ordering from them like how long will it take to deliver and do they have all the parts in stock, they replied within couple of hours. Now I'm a happy P170SM owner.

It's lucky that you had a good experience with them. Lots of other people say their service is absolutely rubbish, just look on their Facebook page.

I was gonna go with them as well before I read a few forums where people were just hating Scan. Hence why I ended up going with mySN, not to mention it worked out cheaper too.

I used Scan before and never experienced any issues. Before purchase this i checked their web site/ forum/Fb page and in my eyes bad posts are normal for any seller. At least they didn't try to remove those posts and try to cover the situation.

Hi there again jaug and all!

Today I was once more looking for fresh prices and there was a "new" retailer listed in Germany, to be exactly in Berlin. I even did buy a thermal compound from their store 2 years back or so. Back then they had no Clevos of their own branding. So this is quite new:
