Pick some other SSD, maybe the Crucial M4 or Samsung 840. Saves you some moneys!

    I got the AMD 7970M.
You can do that easely with the setup you have.

I'm thinking that, that intel is already at a good price tbh.
If you think that mysn is the best choice for you, than your pricing and setup, is adequate for your needs.

I read what crucial very good ssd in category "price-quality", and think what m4 cheapest. But no, price more higher.
About Samsung don't know nothing, think better pay little bit (4 euro) more and buy good quality ssd - intel. Right?

I think about laptop with card gtx660m. For now it's good card, but in next year, after next will not enough for game. And read what 650m, 660m cards are soldered to the motherboard. That is, in the future they will not be able to upgrade the video card.
About reseller... yes, in some reseller can found cheaper, but listen many good feedback about MySN. I hope that these guys are good get together, do a stress test and a laptop will run for a long time without any problems :)

Well the ammount you save on this purchase can be the amount youll use on the next laptop.

The 660M should last you for 2 years of quality gaming, at the 3rd year you might have to lower down graphic settings.
That is if you can't afford the p150EM

For the price of that config i'm almost sure you can find a fairly good P150EM.
But your choice is your choice.

So far nothing you said was wrong, and the logic behind the choice, is logical.
So good luck with your purchase.

Scan.co.uk (or 3xs.scan.co.uk to be more specific) are now selling the W110ER branded as the Graphite LG5 and other "gaming" laptops (presumably Clevo based)

They are £580 ish with 2 year warranty, Matte Screen, Ivy Bridge Core i3 and 8gb of Corsair Vengance + 500GB WD Black Edition.

Being one of the biggest computer hardware resellers in the UK I guess this now makes them one of the biggest stores in Europe to offer Clevo.

I've never bought a laptop from them but buy all my Desktop and Server components are from them, they will price match and have provided me with great customer server (over 150 staff) so I'd have to recommend them to anyone. - they where the first site I searched when I decided I wanted a W110 this time last month, typical they now have it, and with a better base spec!

'Specialist Retailer of the Year 2012' as voted by the readers of PC Retail magazine,
Custom PC magazine voted Scan as the 'Best PC Manufacturer 2012' and 'Best Retailer 2012'.

Should be good to have them on-board

.....they have a 15" and 17" with the GTX 670m for £815-£830, and it's only £120 to upgrade it to a 7970m..........so tempting.......

You can go to Hawkforce.de to buy Clevo laptop at quite a low price. However, just take the original chassis (with CPU + GPU) of Clevo and DO NOT add any additional parts from him, as his services are really bad.

think it will be more like just over a £1000 for that spec. 3630QM is the base i7 now.

Hi I have a few question for mySN (EU or DE) about A522 and payment and shipping to Poland. I sent an email but it was retured by your SPAM filter.
Is us-international keyboard layout the standard-standard one? like
    this? http://tinyurl.com/crm36tw
I am going to pay by bank transfer because Paypal fees are not so low.(converting currencies etc)
I would appreciate if you could send me details about your bank
account so I can calculate which payment methond is better for me. I
read in FAQ section that you don't charge for bank transfer, but as I
have student bank account I don't know how much international transfer
is going to cost me until I get account details.
And one last thing. I just want to make sure. Is shipping to Poland
just 35 EUR without any hidden fees?

    Thanks :)

I'm thinking about buying Clevo p150em in mysn.de, my only doubt is display. I'm not sure if standard non-glare will be enough for photo editing.
So my question is how big is a difference between standard display and 95% gamut? Or maybe I should buy glare one, anyway I wont use it outside.

Yes the difference between the stock display versus the 95% is MASSIVE. But this is not to say the stock is way better than on other computers.

The 95% Gamut is a luxury only needed if you really feel like spending the extra money. The difference between glossy and matte is noticeable, but I mean, you need to make sure you won't be annoyed by any lights to purchase the glossy one or else you'll be annoyed :p enjoy

    Hey guys,

Kudos on the very informative thread.

First of all, I'd like to give an excellent review for chiligreen.com (Austrian reseller), although right now their gaming-laptop selection consists of MSI barebones, they have some midrange clevos. I have bought mine MSI barebone from them and they have provided an excellent service (email replies within a day, sometimes within the hour), you can call them and they actually answer the phone, many payment options and lightning fast delivery ( I have ordered my laptop on Thursday afternoon, the DHL guy gave it to me on Tuesday..), with ordering to Hungary.

Second: I have found my next ideal notebook at one.de (or XMX), however they don't seem to ship to Hungary (their FAQ says that they do ship to European countries but I cannot list Hungary as my delivery address.. Anyone dealt with them around Hungary or "further"? Is there a way around this via direct, email-based order? I have sent the inquiries, I hope they answer soon.
Also, do you have good/bad experiences with them?

Thanks for any info/reply in advance!

Oh and one more thing: I have been considering to buy from notebookguru, they have been offering a P170EM with the 7970M, i7-3630qm, 16GB RAM, 500GB HDD and so on for 1049 EUR... it seems just too good to be true, but the horrid reviews changed my mind, this is too much money to throw away if something goes wrong..

    Hey jaug1337,

Once again, congrats on the informative thread. With notebookguru: my thoughts exactly, the fact that their so-called online chat is always offline is good indicator..

Its a pity you have no further info on one.de, I will post my experiences once I hear back from them.

    Thanks for the reply anyway.

    Cheers!

Looks like this offer gets reactivated again in about 30 hours. There was another offer just before that with the same configuration and 15,6" screen for 999.

Looking at the legal notes I came to realize that notebookguru.de and notebookbarebone.de are registered with the same guy. Adds up to the bad feedback they both have (complaints, slow communication).

    Hello,

I'm getting a new pc for 3D modeling and simulation (Abaqus) and i'm considering the W350ET with the i7-3630, 500HD 7200 RPM, 120GB SSD, 8/16 GB Corsair.

What's the best Portuguese store to buy it from? I can also buy in Belgium/Holland/Germany (i'm around this countries a lot), however i think the prices are a bit higher, but i can take also take a look if the feedback is good.

    Regards,
    Bruno

IMO Your best option would be to simply contact them all and get a feeling of who will give you the best service, price, and config for the specifications you want.

You won't loose anything for sending a few emails,

I don't know if i'm posting in the right thread. But another Clevo reseller in Europe is Plaisio Computers in Greece. This is were i got my P151HM1 from. Couple of things though. They offer next to no customisation besides upgrading RAM. Another thing is the currently the only high performance Clevo they offer is P151HM1. They offer quite good services but their lineup is very limited.
