Where to buy the new clevo P650SE with security and well priced?

I'm from spain and I know clevocenter where I bought my last clevo. At the moment it hasn't this model yet and I want it with the gtx 970m.

Do you know any other reseller with similar prices as XoticPC + taxes?

Try mySN or Scan UK (3XS Scan). Both sellers provide 2yr warranty.

    Hi there again Jaug!

There have been 3 casualties on the German reseller side!

    #Notebookparadies
    #caseking
#Hawkforce (looks like the guy did play only by his own rules )

    Too bad.

Maybe there are 2 "new" players though.

    kiebel.de | PC-Systeme und Notebooks nach Maß!

    http://www.csl-computer.com

xmx and one are almost the same and do offer the same products, but the xmx prices are better at the moment, since they come with 2 years warranty instead of only 1 year at one.de.

    Two additions:

the 4th dead site is #notebookbarebone.de

    and

Kiebel only seems to be a 3rd row vendor of Clevo products. Taking a closer look at the descriptions of the laptops, you'll notice mysn references, e.g. A504 or P504 and so on ... .

So they are barely the kind of reseller you are listing here.

But generally speaking: If you are looking for a MYSN-Clevo there are quite a few of those 3rd row vendors, often times offering the same items at a lower cost than it usually is available on the mysn site(s). (Cyberport, Notebookbilliger, PlayIt, ...)

I wrote this in the "What notebook should I buy?" sub forum but I will post here as well:

Hi all, I'm not looking for a computer just here to warn from ordering from Deviltech.de.

I ordered a Deviltech devil 7800. They wanted money in advance via wire-transfer (This should have been warning enough but I had a couple of friends (4) who had ordered before with no problems).

I bought a computer from them in October LAST year (2013). All seemed well and I got a preliminary delivery date in December, since it was a bit late I was offered some games and a mouse. When end of December came and no computer had arrived I got worried and started emailing them, I got some answers after almost a month that they were waiting on some parts and that I their ceo would reply(he never did). After a couple of months with emails back and forth (most from me since they only replied once a month or so..) I got an email saying that they did not think my computer could be delivered, and that was the end of my communication with them.

Meanwhile I had started an consumer complaint with the European consumer center service office here in Sweden, and they contacted the German counterpart who in turn contacted the company. The company did not reply, and the case was closed. After this there is not much to do according to the officials, a small-claims court case would most likely be too expensive in comparison to the computer. However an investigation in Germany was initiated according to the swedish ECC.

At the same time as my order a friend also ordered a laptop and he has experience almost the same thing as me, with the result of no computer after a year.
So my last advice, DO NOT ORDER FROM DEVILTECH.DE. You might have luck, but if you end up like me there is not much to do except weep for your money and carry on.

I have seen a couple of threads like this in other forums, but I figured one more could help.

    Regards,

    Whizkaz

    Thanks for the update!

I've removed all the dead links and added the 2 new players :)

Loads of different resellers gone from the list.

Also Leistung ohne Kompromisse - NEXOC. Home got an awesome new website layout (redesign) :D
So does BAREBONEFACTORY.FR - Vente & Assemblage d'ordinateur portable CLEVO sur mesure :D
MOUNTAIN - Fabricamos PCs Sobremesa, Portátiles, Estaciones de Trabajo y Servidores is awesome too!

I've decided to put CUSTOMER COMPLAINS WONT RECOMMEND THIS RESELLER on DevilTech.DE

If I remove them from the list, there will be no marking of bad behavior and people might buy from them again.

Thanks to everyone for the updates! :)

I'm planning to buy in UK either p650se or the upcoming p750zm (so difficult to decide if I should wait for the later one for a higher price/bigger size but improved CPU and upgrade-ability....).

Anyway, regarding sellers I'm looking at Mysn and Scan UK. Both have similar warranty and scan appears to have by far better prices (even after contacting mysn and being offered a discount scan offer is still about £80 cheaper for similarly spec'd laptop).
Anyone who has some experience with Scan UK? How reliable is their service/warranty (on paper appears similar to Mysn)?
Or any other UK Clevo sellers I should be looking at?

I brought 2 notebooks from scan UK and my experience is very positive. One of my systems got ram issue and scan replaced the parts quickly. However my advice is if you have a issue with your notebook contact them through their forum. Their CS reps at the forum is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Some updates regarding Clevo in Romania.

OEM.RO - Telefoane, accesorii, electronice, GPS, harti, computere, consumabile... has not updated their offer since SandyBridge generations, nor have I heard anyone buying/recommending this store for any products (let alone Clevo/Sager).
Maguay - Add performance to your business - is still going strong, but their CS is kinda rubbish and aftersales support is less than "heart warming". I myself would advise against buying from them. (based on personal experience).
Laptopuri de vanzare - cele mai bune laptopuri gaming - last 2-3 Clevos were bought from here and all is going well so far (both before and after sales support). They offer international shipping also, which none of the other 2 shops do.

    Just stumbled upon this one:

Custom Gaming Laptops & Notebooks . Design & Configure Your Specialist Gaming Mobile @ Irelands www.CUSTOMPC.ie- Available Direct From Irelands Gaming PC Specialists www.CUSTOMPC.ie

Actually I was looking for the clevo name for this one:

    Schenker XMG A512 ADV - 7AB Gaming Notebook [39,6cm (15.6"), i7-3630QM, 8GB RAM, 500GB, Win8] bei notebooksbilliger.de

No luck so far. Is it a Clevo at all? Closest relatives seem to be the w650xx, designwise. Someone got an idea?

Thanks for your efforts DJ. The problem was solved via a a post from Schenker on notebookcheck.

According to it, the Schenker XMG A512 is based upon the Quanta TWC barebone.

telling everyone your maximum budget would help.

and its always worth chatting to their sales dept to see what they can offer if youve seen the same model/spec cheaper elsewhere.

    Hey guys,

I'm currently in Shanghai/China and need new thermal paste for my x7200. I didn't bring my material so I need to have it done by a shop, however I can't find a Clevo reseller here. Do any of you guys know a shop in Shanghai where I can have my notebook repasted? :D

I know this doesn't belong in the EU part, but in the other forum my question was ignored for a month haha.

I would recommend contacting the XMG office that you purchased your laptop from to ask them for advice. If you tell them why you feel it needs re-pasting they may be able to offer some advice - for example blockages in the cooling system/dust build up is more frequently the reason for any component heat issues as opposed to the thermal paste needing to be re-applied.

    Hi guys,

The 7970m in my P150EM is starting to get older now and I was thinking about upgrading to a 970m/980m in the near future, but the only resseler where I found these cards for a reasonable price was RJtech and with all the taxes and shiping costs to europe it would become too expensive. Are there some resselers simmiliar to RJ in Europe which sell these cards?

    Thanks.

    Thanks for the quick response.

If I would order it from US, it would be plus 20% taxes, around 5% duty and shipping 80-100 eur. I checked clevo extreme gaming and the prices are a bit higher than i expected, in total its even more than if I would order it from RJ. Best possible solution would be to let a friend that is on vacation in US buy it for me and bring it.. :) But currently nobody I know is there..

So, anybody else have any suggestion for a European reseller which sells GPU's only? If not, guess I'll have to choose between these two solutions. Probably I'll go for the 970m. The 980m cost just too much, almost a price of a new laptop.

    Thanks

    Hmm what's your max budget?

If you bought it from RJtech Your total landing cost = (Item Cost+Shipping)+Vat+Currier handling fee=total

For example importing 970M to UK=( $450+$61.25)+20% VAT=$613.50 (approx £404) on top of that carrier will charge handling fee of £18. So in the end my total cost is £422 (€565)

Well, I will be going to Germany from the US in March but that is a bit far for you to get it - especially since you don't know me. The only way I could think of for you to get that card is ebay with global delivery. I will be doing that with the 780M from my P157SM.

Hello, i about to place my order for clevo w230ss and here in german the cheapest one is at mifcom.de and the price is 120 euro cheaper then other resellers. What is your experience with MIFcom? I saw some people complaining about bad customer service? Any reply will be helpful.

they are not in the German list on the first page of this thread so i dont think anyone will know what they are like.

why not contact the biggest most reputable company like mysn and explain what you want and the price youve found it elsewhere and they might make an offer and price match.
    certainly worth a try.

Where can I buy the Clevo barebones in Germany?

All the resellers provide configuration options. But, I want only the P751ZM barebone with Quadro K1100M. I want to buy the CPU, RAM, SSD and HDD separately. CEG provides the option, but they do not have a favorable review here.

Hey, is it possible to add www.laptopplus.nl under the Dutch (Netherlands) list of resellers? They sell for pretty decent prices and seem to have good customer service (have been in contact with them about a purchase over the phone & email), and also offer a larger variety & more customisation than the other shops. Worthy addition I'd like to think!

Completely agree with _tIsCh post. Still have to do a proper feedback thread on my horrible experience with CEG. (And 3 months after still havent got back what i spent in postage for a RMA and a return/refund).

Let´s hope nothing goes wrong with your P770ZM-G, because if it does you´ll be in for a lot of headaches...

Hey guys, I have been on vacation for the last month - and I've just been really really lazy.

Will get home this Saturday, but might fix everything Sunday ;-)

Can't the after sales be directly dealt by the Clevo repair centre?

Most people are driven by low prices but this must have a detrimental impact at some stage when it comes to after sales service.

It's complicated. Yes, the chassis and the MB and some of the components are Clevo, but the HDD, RAM, screen, etc. are provided by the reseller so the reseller needs to provide support for them.

The only logical way to do it, is for the reseller to provide the first level of support and escalated to Clevo when necessary and the defective components are under its responsibility. This will mean that the reseller will also have to make an initial diagnostic.

[ I'm not refering to any particular person or company here ]

@Blacky - that's correct, in some cases you will find that smaller resellers will provide the initial support but for any RMA or repair they may use one of the service centers because they won't have an internal RMA/repair department or they may have a bigger company build up the latptops for them.

@CKQ - after sales support is always the direct responsibility of the company which sold the product. The service centers are there to provide RMA to direct Clevo customers i.e. companies which import directly from Clevo, as well as other resellers who do not have a direct relationship with Clevo. There are similar setups at companies like MSI.
