Is there a resellers thread for America's ? I have contacted pretty much every vendor, and think I can beat every price I was quoted, might as well then add Eurocom to the list, right ?

I have been looking for a EU reseller that sells the Clevo P570WM in the last few days (like the Eurocom Panther 5). It seems impossible to find.
I want the desktop cpu + SLI option. I have no idea why it's so hard to find.
    Can anyone please help me?
    It shouldn't be this hard...

You might wan't to look a the newest model. XMG U705.

    http://mysn.eu/xmg-u705-gamingnotebook :)

The lower model.. not the desktop replacement has double 980M SLI though.

Thank you but I've looked at those options already. I really want to fit a 4960X in it as that makes quite the difference, and that leaves me little choice.
But I just can't seem to find any reseller in Europe that can offer it, or wants to offer it.
    I found it here:
    http://www.barebonefactory.fr/clevo-p570wm.html
    http://www.freewebstore.org/inforges/product/p570wm

But I don't have any experience with those webshops and have serious doubts about them being trustworthy...

Hi, i want to share my experience from German based company Mifcom.de. First of all they r one of the cheapest reseller in Gemany and it's easy to deal with them, but if something goes wrong with laptop prepare to wait for at least 20 days or even more since their service is so slow. Just my experience if u r considering buying from them.

I think Sharkgaming should be added to the list (denmark), the price is incredibly high but costumer service should be great from what i've heard.

Hey guys I have a question about resellers.
During my search for a Clevo laptop I dealt with 3 resellers in my country, Portugal.
They were 'ClevoCenter', 'Inphtech' and 'Assismática'.

Some people told me ClevoCenter and Assismática are not 'official Clevo distributors'. I even read in a forum that they can't adopt the 'Clevo' brand as the store name, regarding the first store I mentioned.
Inphtech supposedly is an official Clevo reseller. Although I was told in Assismatica (where I ended up ordering the laptop, purely because I knew them the longest and they are closer to my home) that there's no such thing as official Clevo resellers.

I'm getting confused. Are there or aren't there official resellers? Does such a thing exist? How do the others get the laptops? How do warranties and service usually stack up?

    Thanks!

    @Shark00n

This is quite a tricky topic, I will try and explain it but bear in mind that my intention is just to explain the system, not to comment on any individual companies.

    There are companies which:

    - are direct Clevo customers
    - System Integrators who build laptops based on Clevo chassis
    - Resellers (like XoticPC, Powernotebooks) who resell a Sager branded product
    - Distributors who buy from Clevo and sell chassis to other companies
    - Direct Shippers who you may think build their own laptops but who actually have a bigger company build them to specification for their customers

These are not mutually exclusive and there are more variations I could list. For example, we are a direct Clevo customer and importer, a distributer, a system integrator. We are not a reseller (but we have companies which reseller our branded products) and we are not a direct shipper (but we do build systems for other companies). We are also not exclusive to Clevo, we also use other ODM's laptop chassis.

Technically there is no such thing as an "official Clevo distributor", so Assismatica is correct here. A company either buys directly from Clevo or it does not. It wouldn't be fair to draw any generalised conclusions on this from a sales, support or warranty point of view. Some direct companies have bad service and some non-direct companies have excellent service, so if you are concerned about this it is best to find customer feedback and testimonials on the company you are thinking about purchasing from. At the same time it is definitely worth considering why a company may use questionable marketing tactics in order to get your business - for example if they say that they purchase direct from Clevo but do not there will be a reason for this.

There is a list of companies here on the Clevo website which are using the Clevo brand in either a misleading or incorrect manner, they do not represent Clevo in any capacity. This is publically available and is where the people you mentioned in your message got their information from:

Thanks for the answer, very clear.

I had a terrible experience with ClevoCenter (the one that isn't even allowed to use the Clevo name or logo), their customer support is just horrendous. Personal questions, refusing to give me a price, and just general terrible practices.
Inphtech was quite nice and available but it's a pretty new company.
I ended up choosing Assismatica. They've been around since 1995 and I have friends who had good experiences with the store (although none bought Clevo laptops).

The only thing I don't like about this small marketplace between these stores (and a few others) here in Portugal is that competition must be fierce. No one loses a chance to either compare themselves to the other stores or just stricly badmouth each-other.

I think it's the customer who gets the short straw on this. They are so busy competing amongst themselves on a pure price basis that they forget about quality customer support and interaction.
After my first (and awful) experience with a Clevo notebook a few years ago that was exactly what I was looking for - dependable, reliable and quality customer support.

Maybe next time I order from you guys, been reading good things around here :)

    No problem at all :)

That's correct! In the UK we offer finance payment through V12 Finance, the option is also available through mysn.de which covers Germany but also now most of Europe. You should be able to find details of the finance payment option at the checkout stage of mysn.de, or you can ask [email protected] for more information!

    Okay everyone.

A LONG overdue update, thanks for MrDJ bumping me because of my laziness.

I've added a lot of resellers and removed a few, changed the thread around, moved a few things back and forth, made it more user friendly.

Feel free to write if something is missing or should be implemented :)

I will update a few more times as things seems a bit odd right now.

Edit: Looking into the PM issue right now. Will change the links.

    Hi @ all,

just wanted to let you know that I have made the best experience ever with PCSystems-Evolutionx.
I am from Germany and had a lot of contact to other resellers in the European Union, but
the new owner of PCSystems-Evolutionx is really a cool guy.
He replies to mails very quick, makes very reasonable prices and is more customer-oriented
than all the other german resellers I contacted!

    Hi there,
First of all, I wanted to say what an amazing post this is. It shows a lot of Clevo resellers in the EU. I'm sure this would make it a lot easier for people to find a great local reseller. Happens to be that I'm a reseller too :).

I own the web shop https://laptopzelfsamenstellen.nl/ and sell all-in-one PCs and Clevo laptops to The Netherlands and Belgium. Customers can compose a laptop to their own wishes themselves. The main Clevo laptop page is: https://laptopzelfsamenstellen.nl/cat/laptop-samenstellen/

I am new to this forum but I would also love to use this great platform to get in contact with my customers and help give them answers to their questions and problems.

Also, I came across some broken links from Clevo resellers:
    Thank you!

Does anybody know a European reseller, who sells the Clevo P650/P651 with a 3k(preferred) or a 4k matte display WITHOUT forcing the customer to buy the high-end CPU and GPU? I am looking for the 3k/4k display with the standard i7-6700HQ and a GTX-965M or GTX-970M.

The US reseller Eurocom (and others outside the EU) does offer this configuration. So, basically it is seems to be possible.

    Nice thread!

BTW: Under the German resellers, www.mifcom.de is listed twice.

@shatterhand As you mentioend we unfortunately don't offer this option any more. It's not so much a mareting policy but a sales decision. Because the CPU is integrated in these models, we have to purchase lots of different models for example:

    P651 6700HQ with [965M no G-Sync FHD] [970M 3GB vRAM no G-Sync FHD] [970M with G-Sync 6GB vRAM FHD] [970M 6GB vRAM no G-Sync 4K]

That's under half the different chassis to order just with the 6700HQ. Having stock of every permutation of panel, G-Sync, CPU, GPU option is difficult to justify so chassis would be ordered based on what each company feels is the most popular configuragion of these options. Don't forget we're talking about ordering hundreds of chassis at a time, it soon gets pretty complicated!

    @XMG: Thanks for your response!

Hmm, as far as I understood the only thing that differs in terms of the display is the connection mainboard-->display. The HiRes displays come with a different EDP connector which requires another cable. But correct me, if I'm wrong.

For sure the HiRes displays require more lanes than FHD. However, there are even some guys on the net offering display upgrades. I am not saying these things are reliable. Just wanted to mention here and would appreciate, if you could put things right.

@shatterhand We have also looked into this and it seems that it will usually not be possible to change to 4K display. We only offer on high-end as this is where customers are requesting. Actually, to power a 4K for games you really need GTX980 Desktop or SLI.

    @Legion343 Thanks for the help!
We are just getting started on this forum. We can ship to all of EU. Next week our website will also be in English. We are releasing a new design. I hope people like it.

@DreamMachines: This configuration is for sure not intended for gaming.

No more hints anyone? Where to buy a HiRes machine with a lot of RAM and a reasonable i7 class CPU?

This is not a place for discussions about upgrade or building people. Every configuration is possible when you have spare parts, so is this. Enjoy and release Kraken.
