The problem is that every chassis purchased from Clevo is built and delivered with a panel. It's possible to then deal with the panel options in two ways:
1/ order every single combination of CPU, GPU and panel =/- G-Sync support
2/ replace the panel from Clevo with a different panel, which means you have to do something with the panel from Clevo.

Being an expat, I like the fact that you can buy things from a different country within the EU and not get annihilated by customs and duty. This being a consumer level product, whomever has the best Price/ Performance + Service, gets my money, regardless of country of origin

Guys add this seller from Portugal that already has Clevo with GTX 1060/1070/1080 in stock.

Just finished a hunt for a clevo laptop in Denmark. Only 2 suppliers seems to have them in Denmark:
mm-vision - already listed
webhallen.com - has shops in both Denmark and Sweden
shark gaming and nova notebooks do not sell clevos anymore.
nice list, btw. very helpfull. GJ! -
Clevoweb.co.uk
they are not reselers but they are pretty much the only official clevo replacements shop in Europe
and when i say replacements i mean everything from a motherboards to the smallest screw. -
The best place to purchase parts from is either the company that you purchased your laptop from or one of the official Clevo Service Centers; http://www.clevo.com.tw/clevo_contact.asp?lang=en . They are direct with Clevo and set up to support companies like ourselves who purchase chassis from Clevo, but they will also happily sell parts to end users and carry out repairs which may be outside of warranty. They are the only companies who are allowed to use the name "Clevo" in their website address or company name - you will find that lots of parts companies buy parts from them.

Hi, I am Eloy, from Spain. I have been thinking of buying a new laptop for a while now, and realised the best quality for the lowest price were the CLEVO laptops.
However, I have been looking in some of the sites and saw a ridiculously cheaper laptop in this website (1199 base price). My goal is to get a Clevo with a 1060 for around 1200 - 1400 €
https://one.de/shop/product_info.php?products_id=15295
Is there any feedback of this company? The only problem I have with them is that sadly they don't sell them with spanish keyboards, so my question is if could purchase the keyboard from another Clevo reseller, otherwise I would have to put stickers over the keys to change it and therefore loose the backlighting.
If that is not possible, could you recommend another reseller with similar prices?
Thanks in advance -
Hi Eloy, I'm Sergio from Portugal, I was on Obsidian last friday, it's a company from Portugal that sell Clevo with GTX 1060, they are very reliable and they sell to spain, also they have spanish keyboard
check them out.

Did your friend placed his order?

Hi John, I haven't spoken with my friend since last friday, he is in Lisbon at the moment, probably during the weekend I will know.

Does anyone know a shop that sells a Clevo laptop with i7-6700k and without a GPU? Because I really just need the integrated Intel HD530 graphics, nothing else. I produce music so only the CPU matters to me. Thanks a lot
-
The chassis which have Intel socket 1151 CPU support (which includes the 6700K) have no ability to use the onboard CPU graphics or iGPU. This is because the graphical signal is routed from the MXM GPU slot to the internal panel and the external video outputs. Purchasing a laptop with a 6700K would mean that you have to also pay for a GPU that you don't necessarily need in terms of performance, but it's the only way to get the CPU power in a chassis.
Makes sense to look around at non Pascal GPU models (previous generation) as they will likely be still in stoc with some companies and with the less expensive GPUs.i_pk_pjers_i likes this. -

Most companies aren't willing to sell previous generation Clevos, but I know for a fact that Eurocom is if they have it in stock. -
Every company would be happy to sell you previous generation Clevo chassis if they have them in stock, surely? We still have some older models like the P506, U706 available on our website as there is always an overlap of stock at launch time ;-)
-
i_pk_pjers_i Even the ppl who never frown eventually break down
Nope. I've asked several different resellers in North America what their policy is on this because I was curious, and Eurocom was the only one I could find that would be willing to sell older Clevo models. Every other reseller said they will only sell current models. -
Must be because Sager doesn't have any stock left of previous gen models and so the resellers can't get them either.
-
Has anyone bought a laptop from laptop plus?
Im interested buying a p751dm2-g from there since it seems to be the only one with good price and with 330w ac adapter. Im just really worried about Clevo laptop 1080p screens. I have heard a lot of backlight bleed problems. For me a 2000€ laptop with a backlight bleed is a no go.Last edited: Oct 9, 2016 -
Why does ordering require VAT number? I would like to buy me a laptop from Obsidian, but since i don't have a company then i don't have a VAT number. Do you sell to companies only?
-
Eurocom and Prostar are Clevo-direct distribution channels in North America and I would assume that many authorized Clevo and Sager resellers have limited stock on hand. It is more likely the case that most resellers don't have any leftover stock to sell and the distributors that they purchase their stock from could have some leftovers. I'm guessing, but I think that is a logical explanation.
-
Looks like I might have to give a thumbs up to the somewhat ill-reputed Notebookguru.de. On a whim I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, and so Monday I ordered a P870 with a special offer that gave me twice the RAM (i.e. I got 32 gig for the price of 16). The seller was very communicative until delivery, and while there was short delay, the system was quickly dispatched and arrived at my place today. I wasn't able to pick it up yet, because I went for cash-on-delivery, and didn't have the necessary quids at hand, but I saw that the product was actually manufactured by NEXØC., one of Germany's few reputable distributors. I'll give my final verdict once I have opened the parcel and taken the beast for a ride, but I'm certainly impressed.

Just noticed this... well in EU it is supposed to be mandatory to have a VAT number, even end consumer should have one, a personal tax number, we all have it in Portugal and Spain. By our law in Portugal an INVOICE always need a VAT number. It came to our attention that is does not seem to be true in other EU countries, which is kinda weird. If you need to order just type any number like 999999999 if you dont have a VAT number. -

We sell to both companies and individuals in EU. If you are individual just choose option "VAT included" when ordering online via eurocom.com. You can also order via our EU dealers. -
Okay, it's been long overdue and I've been one busy and lazy man.
So here it goes.
Updating the thread now, going to be a little while. -
I finished up by removing a handful or resellers that are no longer in the Clevo business.
Added a few new ones, removed the duplicates, fixed some minor mistakes.
To everyone who sent me inbox messages, thanks for the help!
With all of that being said. I am going to fix this thread up visually. It needs a face lift haha. -
Just to confirm this, it's not EU law - looks like just a thing in Portugal. Any customer can order ny product online with the need for a VAT number or a personal tax number. Even when a business purchases from another business it's not legally necessary to exchange tax information, but fi you get to a point in volume or want to have a credit account with another company then it's always required.jaug1337 likes this.

Hi guys, could you give me some advice on where to purchase a clevo laptop?
Now I live in Romania - and i have looked at the supplier (the other one dose not have 10 series GPU's) in Romania and to be honest i don't want to order from them -
I am looking for some suggestions for a supplier I can order from and get it shipped to me (in the EU of course) - the model i am looking to get is the 15'' clevo with a gtx 1060/1070 if I recall correctly they are the P650 -
Now I have looked across a lot of suppliers, so far pcspecialist.co.uk is my top choice, with decent price for the laptop, parts and services and shipping. - a P650 type (the Defiance III they call it) is a very reasonable 1664 € inc VAT with a gtx 1070 and 8 gb of ram instead of 4 base option - P.S. the shipping cost is also included
I have also looked at places like XoticPC, Gentech, Eurocom, and they are cheaper, but when you factor in the shipping costs and the fact that I will probably have to pay VAT, import charges or what ever it is just not worth it, unfortunately, even with the very good reputation they have.
I have excluded EUROCOM Europe because the prices are ridiculous a basic P650 type one with a gtx 1060 costs € 2055 and with the gtx 1070 € 2236 !!!! (with nothing else added over the standard configuration).
I have also exclude XMG as an option, not because they seem bad but because the high cost as well compared to others. (the basic laptop with no options and 1070 is 2000 euros ! )
So if you guys have any opinion on pcspecialist.co.uk or any other suggestions for suppliers I would be very grateful ! Thanks a lot !!!
-
Actually, I'd look at the NBR marketplace first!
People are selling some very nice laptops (sometimes BRAND new, or barerly used under market price) click HERE
With that said, I do not think you can make it much cheaper haha -
Ya the prices are very tempting, but i would rather buy from a official reseller for better waranty pice of mind.
-
PC Specialist prices are reasonable however UK is a bit far from Romania when it comes to shipping.. Might also be worth looking at Scan 3XS which is again UK based..
Otherwise, in Germany, there is CEG which is relatively cheap and not too bad.. There are cheaper resellers which are not reliable at all when it breaks.. Obsidian PC is a really good one, based in Portugal and if you want a Prema resellers, Dreammachines is one based in Poland..

Thanks for the heads up
. Shipping from them is not to bad it's 59 euros. I also had a talk with the local romanian supplier and they said they can configure a p650 with i7-6820 HK, gtx 1070, 8 gb of ram and a 240 gb kingstone v400 SSD for about 1760 euros, which is not to bad of a price. And they are a seller here in the country so shipping, and warranty shipping is free.
-
I ordered the laptop from the Romanian supplier tekadvice. I got a P650 , i7-6700hq, gtx 1060, 8gb of ram, 240 gb ssd v400 for 1400 euros. I will let you guys know how it turns out
but so far so good, they contacted soon after I placed the order to give me a shipping date for it of next week. Can't wait !
-
Should have got 1070 and 16GB RAM.. 1060 will get old really quickly in comparison to 1070 and 8GB RAM will bottleneck you in games!
Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk -
I got a 16gb kit to upgrade it. So that is no prob. for me. I do not see the 1070 to be worth it as I plan to stay in 1080p range for now, the 1060 is plenty here. Also I would rather spend less, spend some money on extra storage and upgrade down the line in like 2 years to a new laptop. Hopefully by then amd will have joined the laptop battleground and spice things up. But yea if you want to have all options maxed out and plan to go over full hd, the 1070 is definetly the right choice. I use a laptop with a gt650m in in so you can imagine what a upgrade a 1060 is for me

I'd like to add laptopparts4less to netherlands ( https://www.laptopparts4less.frl/ )
I bought it from Germany, but the prices are really low compared to the resellers in Germany.
Just for comparison:
Model: Clevo P775DM3-G
Screen: 3840x2160 4K UHD
GPU: GTX 1080
CPU: i7 7700K
M.2 SSD: Samsung SM961 256GB
Ram: 16GB 2400MHz DDR4
Wifi: Killer Wifi AC-8260 vPro
Windows 10 Pro (+ installation)
2 years warranty, dead pixel check and good support on demand.
Entirely for 2719$ (2659$ without ebay fees). -
I Know laptopparts4less. Not that great actually. Not a lot of options to choose from, like buy without OS and the available hardware. Also, this website is a maze to navigate. There are cheaper sites and much better from The Netherlands, where you can buy Clevo notebooks, and also ships to Germany.

CEG is a good choice... Prices are good and I like their support
-
I just wrote the seller and got a lot of additional configuration options, but you are right, the website is still not very good.
Also, the CPU came pre-delidded for me, which is a nice thing to have as well.
If you browse through the internet, you see a lot of bad reputation about ceg. The prices are quite good, but that was my decision to not buy from them. -
People rarely write about good experiences but always write about bad ones... Even reputable resellers like XoticPC and XMG have complaints.. CEG have been good to me and I would recommend them whatever anyone might say...
Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk -
I second that. Stay away from CEG !
CEG might have good prices in Germany, but there are other resellers in the EU with even better prices and service/support etc.
If you really want to buy from Germany and don't mind the higher prices (everything is expensive in Germany), then I would recommend XMG (mySN.de). -
What do you mean with "buy without OS and the available hardware"? Last time I checked you get windows 10 pre-installed.
I ask since I'm planning to buy the clevo p670rpg-6 from laptopparts4less as it's cheaper than other sellers. -
Usually there is an option to buy without OS as well. This is for people who have their own Windows license. Still, you can get Windows pre-installed so you only have to activate it. This is what I did.

This is really good news for European countries. I've been waiting for this since I'm not too comfortable with import taxes which are very high for some countries inside EU. Soon I'll bee pulling a trigger on one nice laptop hoping for Prema bios support.
