Did you not know that there are several Clevo resellers in the EU, even more than the US ? Look at the EU resellers list. Some of them have very good reputation on the forums. I can personally recommend Obsidian-PC, Portugal and XMG (mySN).

Importing an expensive laptop from the U.S. is pretty stupid, considering the extra import duties, hassle with the customs etc. The warranty and servicing will also be quite inconvenient and expensive shipping the machine so far. Some companies offer a limited "Global Warranty". However, be careful to read the "Terms and Conditions" as the Global warranty does not equal local warranty and they are much more expensive.
Importing from the U.S. or elsewhere into your home country is may be not so bad if you live in a country like Dubai for example where there are no import taxes for laptops.

Besides, I don't understand why this is posted now. I thought Eurocom-Europe existed already since some time now. They don't have the latest models in stock though, unlike other resellers in EU. Prices are also somewhere in the middle when compared to others. Anyways, good to have more options.

If you are looking for custom BIOS, you can also go for Obsidian-PC, Portugal. Talk to @John@OBSIDIAN-PC, they also provide custom BIOSes which allows you to tweak your laptop. If you are looking only for PREMA Bios, there are PREMA partners also in the EU, again look at the EU Resellers list.

Agreed, however if I decide to purchase laptop from outside EU for instance USA I'm obligate to pay their tax qoute plus my country tax plus import charges and it's like 40% of the laptop value. And frankly I'm not willing to pay that much that is why I'm aiming for EU reputable stores and pay only their tax. :)
Thanks for heads up Rynaus, I was not aware of this? And even among those stores I prefer Obsidian-PC, Portugal and XMG (mySN), pcspecialist, dream machines.
However I'm taking special care of store service first, since I'm afraid of several things starting from Dead pixels policy, (Warrantly) and due to my work I travel a lot for several months and I can not afford to mess around with returns. I just wont everything working properly and tested before shipping. Thus it would be nice to have full control in bios using prema bios.
I was about to send some query messages here directly to resealers but I don't have enough posts since I just lurk most of the times around here.

@elektroda - you'll find that quite a few companies, including us, check for dead pixels as standard during production but there are diffreent warranty terms from different companies - as you have 5 posts now you can pm anyone!

No problem :) I also ended up on this forum 2 months ago while trying to buy a new Clevo laptop.
If you would like to talk to Obsidian-PC, just hop on to the online chat on their website ( https://www.obsidian-pc.com/en/). Usually, John or Ricardo will always answer as long as they are not too busy.

Custom BIOS - As I said, they also offer custom BIOS like PREMA which has every option you can think of. Trust me, you will get bored looking at the BIOS after this, I did. Basically all the BIOS are same AMI BIOS. When you unlock the BIOS, you get all the hidden options as well. Since Obsidian offers this BIOS in-house, it is covered under warranty as well.

Dead Pixel - 30 days dead pixel warranty is standard and is free when buying an Obsidian laptop. Dead or stuck pixels are either there when you buy a new laptop/screen or not there. If it's not there, then chances are almost zero that you get some dead pixesl after some months, may be after years.

Testing - They do a lot of rigorous testing, both hardware and software to ensure everything is working quite well, not just working and you get reports of all benchmarks and tests which you can check before they ship your laptop.

I would say, try them out. Hop on to the online chat and you can tell them my name if you like. I am Suraj.

Since I am starting to get a lot of mail regarding this:

Obsidian is not using premamod firmware. The co-owner (a friend of mine) previously worked for another company where he had arranged a deal for that company, which (for the time being) prevents him now from becoming a prema partner with his own company.
I can also not help you with your purchase decisions. Every shop here deserves its own chance and be it a prema partner or not I won't interfere with such things. Please stop asking me for my recommendations and support in this matter in private mail.

    This!
I´m also getting this types of questions everyday.
The only reason why we went on to improve our own bios is because of what prema explained, it´s not that i DONT want to be a partner, is just BECAUSE i cant. So if i can´t for the time being i will try to do the best i can, but our BIOS has nothing to do with prema, ZERO. He does not look at what i do, i don´t look at what he does. It´s not a "re-branded" work, it´s not a "copy", it´s two different works.
We talk a lot, but we stay clean out of each other way when it comes to BIOS.
The best thing i can do for you is putting a good word with my friend prema. If he decides to flash your unit with his BIOS, then good for you but it is his call.
This is the actual state of things until we find a better way. So, not a Partner, but will vouch for you if you want prema! That´s it!
We will always go the extra mile for our customers, and we will keep improving our products to the best we can.
Maybe sooner then later we will find a way of doing stuff together :p

mysn.co.uk now redirects to mysn.de so if you want to buy an xmg laptop from the UK you just have to click the EU flag in the top right corner. It's a shame as the prices are a bit more expensive than the UK site.

^^^ To clarify as thw tronic5.de webaite was mentioned, the 'tronic5 Group' includes tronic5 itself (distribution, barebones and whitebook since 1993) and also Schenker Technologies which looks after the XMG and SCHENKER brands mainly through mysn.de , schenker-tech.de and xmg.gg websites.

    Several reasons:

    - mysn.de is now fully tri-lingual - English, French and German
    - our product range on mysn.co.uk only included the "XMG" sub brand, on mysn.de you also have the full "SCHENKER" branded of laptops which include quite a few ultrabooks and other models which don't share a common chassis with the XMG ones (for example there is no XMG equivalent of the SLIM 13 / Clevo N130BU, but there is a U507 = DTR 15).
    - All the XMG PCs are available in one place, as are the new Xeon workstations and the upcomming other PCs will also be on one website
    - Lots less work maintaining one website ( we have a lot happening in the next 6 months!!!)

It's not gone forever, it's all part of a bigger project which will be comming to an internet browser to you soon (!) - it just made sense at this (perhaps quieter point of the year in terms of product launches) to setup the redirect now.

Nothing ominous, nothing to do with Brexit, not permanent etc etc ;-)

Hi. I am also from Germany (Munich). I bought my laptop from Obsidian-PC, Portugal with the best price, performance and support. Look at my thread here for details:

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/ordered-a-clevo-p870km1-g-from-obsidian-pc-portugal.801044/

Never buy from ebay. Clevo provides zero support for their laptops. Only resellers will support after sales. You need a good reseller who has good technical knowledge and can provide ongoing support.

Talk to @John@OBSIDIAN-PC if u have any questions.

Facebook and Ebay feedback are good, but some here are kinda scary...

I think I'll give a try because I can't really spend more, and they are the cheaper
