One little note about Multicom (Norway)'s Clevo builds: Clevo builds are named Multicom Kunshan (gaming/high performance laptops), Xishan (mainstream laptops) and Alishan (mini/netbooks) respectively. These names are all cities or towns in Taiwan and/or China, as I understand it.
I mention this because Multicom also delivers Compal builds that also can be configured by the customer.

Yes so I noticed, quite odd I must admit. But makes a whole lot of sense with the choice of names now when you explain it, thanks ;)

Just found this, I believe UK formed OVERAM - Custom Laptops and Custom Notebooks Built to your specifications and bugdet. They say they ship worldwide, anyways, just wanted to see if anyone heard about them before, in any case they are thrown onto the OP list.
Never mind just deleted them off the list, it's a US firm.
Ups, okay just found out that the firm has distributions centers around the world, including the US (as it was mentioned to be the main base.. obviously not lol). So the OVERAM is supposedly French. So I've added it to the French section, do correct if you are certain of something else ;)

P.S. The OVERAM website is located on UK servers.. weird

that is the issue i have, i only found them when bored andc scouring clevo resale values and spotted them being made...i am guessing they do not hit forums much but they do seem to have decent testimonials, the website does look a little americanised for me...i think i may have a pop up in person to scout out the place to help with my decisions in 4 weeks or less *when the amd* is launched

Awful site, that last one. Prices no so bad, but user friendliness in extremely bad and i think that some pictures dont match the laptop barebones too.
Also, they do not tell if the 650M is DDR5 or DDR3. They just wrote down both in spec. Clever.

There are 4-5 CEO's and yes - its a merged company (from 3 other companies or even more). And they have come a long way since last year, I can see price reductions and nice parts (Killer N 1103, 1600mhz RAM) being offered!

P.S. I've read their resumee on their site and from what I saw, I think they are experts at what they do. Ive also had a good conversation on PM with their rep here on the NBR. Hes a nice guy and explained things nicely. I think MySN is a good option for whoever is ordering in the EU.

I would reason to disagree, in some degree that is. They are insanely nice here on NBR, which gives a awesome impression if not the best.

But back to MySN, as they undoubtedly are a great option, in the end it's up to the consumer as they don't offer better screen options, which saddens me :( that's all heh

I got answered by Deviltech today.

They say that their notebooks with 650M are DDR5, but they dont do any additional discount and they will not have 7970M in P150EM.

So one shop excluded from list. :(

So once again I just found something new out.

Anyways, as I'm standing right now, several companies and resellers are either directly or indirectly owned by some kind firm in the end.

I've maintained a piece of order in the frontpage (OP = original post(er) whatever you call it :p) and sewed several resellers together as they have different websites.

Do contact me via PM if you've got any advice or information.

Don't know if this is entirely relevant but....

I'm interested in the NP6110. MySN don't do the matte screen option but I emailed them and they said they are looking into it, will let know me in 2/3 weeks.

    Maybe drop them an email?

It's mainly a consumers problem, I can surely see that by offering this Gamut option MySN would easily gain more customers. But thanks for the advice :)

And yes, MySN is very friendly indeed, mailing back and forth either here on NBR or with your native email is a matter of choice, regardless of that the answer will please you as the reps are of great honor :D :D surely some custom arrangements can be made :p

I know its only email contact but I have been pleased with the lengthy email exchanges I have had with mySN over the np6110. If I do decide to buy within EU, than I will probably go with them.

    mysn.de now offers A502/A702 with GT650M inside. :)
However, the price for identical notebookguru clevo is cheaper.
Neither has 7970M on the list yet.

MySN.de is slightly premium is you ask me. I really do not know much about NotebookGuru, there's mixed feelings about them, but I would assume they are fine.

Now NotebookGuru does not offer Killer N' WLAN's nor several HDD/SSD options, nor Ivy with the current laptop you are talking about and nor do they offer 1600Mhz RAM as a base. Oh and MySN offers immediate repair, NotebookGuru does not.

Do keep in mind that MySN way larger than NotebookGuru. But I just wanted to give you some insides ;) sometimes premium is worth the payment, sometimes it's not, a choice one must take himself/herself.

As im extremely familiar with hardware, im not concerned about guarantee or RAM. Barebone MB,CPU,GPU,Case is all i need :) Cheapest offer gets my money for possibly 3 notebooks im going to order. :)

    OK.
Site looks fine. Its nice and easily understandable
    But.
    Notebook choice is limited.
    Notebook components choice is limited.
    P150EM has
    - no EU power cord choice
    - no normal matte screen choice

Also way overpriced compared to German resellers.
It may be OK for local UK customers, but to be honest. Outside of UK, you will not find many cliets with a prices like yours.

    Does he?
Let me comment on your link from left to right:
    MSI - MSI - MSI - Compal? - MSI

But anyway, let's put things into perspective by accurately translating some of his advertising texts that are displayed in front of every notebook on his website:

And that is without ever stating which display exactly is going to be assembled. But it's going to be "one of the best" - of course

Sorry... just having some fun at the expense of others ;) ;(
