    Wow!
Those numbers are sick, man if you put a 920XM in one it would be truly awesome :)
I think I just found my next laptop.
    Thanks Ken.

Well I dont think these clocks are actually usable for gaming, crysis=crash but very nice for benching :D

Seems like there is alot to expect from W86/87CU reaching limits and achieving records :) I wonder what are higest safe clocks usable for daily gaming - 850 / 1100 ? :) This adds like 20% performance boost which is about the same as upcoming GPU generation ! :D

Great performance + 20% = great performance & unnecessary added heat.

LOL I almost spit out my coffee when I saw the 955 clock. Needless to say Ken's 870CU is the exact specs I ordered so it looks like I will be overall pretty happy. That 86 temp during the one run is surprising, I figured it would run cooler then the G73.

    Jesus, if thats 24/7 stable...
Thats ALMOST the same speed as my 4850m CROSSFIRE was (9800-9900 GPU score).

If you could crossfire those you'd be in 5850/5870 territory NO sweat (well in crossfire capable games)

You should say ONLY 86 at those clocks. It would be interesting if it was just stock cooling.

Very nice clock and temperature, though a 20% increase in performance for only 3-4c increase in average temp and 10c in max temp is kind of too good to be true.

True, been awhile since I kept up with the G73 benchmark thread but isn't Ken's OC almost 100 over what most are able to OC in the G73? So I guess that actually is pretty impressive :D

Yep. In a nut shell, G73=High CPU OC, W870CU=High GPU OC.

Actually it has more to do with the card itself. I can add plenty of cooling but cannot hit GPU clocks like that. The Asus 5870 was made by Asus while the one from Clevo should be a standard card.

That's not all four cores because it would require changing the multipliers which you cannot do with a non-extreme proc. Hwinfo32 is not reading the info correctly. It's just showing you the highest multi it's reaching.

Plus the Asus is the only system right now that allows for OC'ing non-extreme processors.

I will certainly be putting it through its paces today and ill be happy to share my thoughts ... Overall without even turning it on the machine looks and feels pretty solid which is always a plus...

The copper heatsinks are nice and beefy so that sure has me smiling....

The battery made me lol though :D..

If it was that simple I would. Unless a new bios is release I will be limited like everyone else.

Speaking of new bios it would be interesting to see if Moo/Quad's bios is a different version than yours.

    Windows is installing...

The screen is a beauty :D..... Better viewing angles then the G73 had horizontally so if its a Hannstar screen like the G73 it might be a different revision... Verticals are awesome as well .... Nice and Bright .....
