Maybe it keeps it powered long enough to flush in a power cut. Looks like a standard power measuring resistor there on the front for power modding![]()

Fantastic tech. When it is not connected to the radiators can it be used as standard heatsink? These quieter fans? How much quieter? I am interested in purchasing both. -
How much for the rtx 3070? Also maybe I’ll need a modified heat sink to fit the card in my p750?
-
Meaker@Sager Company Representative
I think he listed that earlier as something like $1800?

1750$ rtx3070. You will need a custom heatsink for the p750, which costs $ 250

Yes, this heatsink can be used without a liquid cooling unit connected, but the temperature of the video card will be slightly higher than on the standard heatsink, and the processor temperature will be lower than on the standard heatsink. The fans are much quieter and give a higher air flow density, that is, they need almost half the speed to supply a volume of air equal to that of the standard fans at maximum speed. For purchase, contact Maxim, I laid out his contact.
-
Thank you. I will track down Maxim. -

That’s true. I’m just considering whether I upgrade or get a barebone x170. The market currently does not have anything interesting for me anymore. And my wallet is grateful for that.Reciever likes this.

My heatsink should hopefully ship in the next day or two so the final countdown begins, i've been staring at this 3070 for a while itching to try it so fingers crossed shipping goes well.

RTX3070 is a beast of a card coming from a GTX1060 could never go back to pascal after using RTX GPU.
Goodluck with the mods man and keep me updated as its giving me idea's when I bring back my GT72 to life.

I got a processor mutant qtj1 engineering i9-10980hk on a lga1151 substrate. The launch on p870tm1-g was successful, but it did not want to work with all the memory, it successfully launched on Samsung 2666Mhz RAM. I raised its frequency to 4700 Mhz for all cores and 4900 for one core with an undervolt of -125mV, the processor works stably, the temperature under load is 65-75 degrees.

Yes. And with stock P870TM Bios?
-
No, you need to install a BIOS from Dsanke with support for BGA1440 (9900ks 128g) processors or patch your BIOS yourself in the Coffee Time program.
-
Ok, but with DSanke Bios there is no need to do the pinmod with 9900k or something else, right?
-
For mutant processors, a pin mod is not needed, but for ordinary non-ES processors of the 9th generation in DM / DM2-3 / KM laptops, a pin mod is required. The pin mod is not required only on TM laptop models.
-
Ok, because I have P870TM-GS

Nice, looking forward to seeing the madness!

It's not a mutant processor, it's the solution to BGA trash, when BGA trash is sent down our necks.

Yes, they had some fun)))) this processor has a crystal from the i9-9900k with the latest technical process, that is, you essentially buy an i9-9900k for $ 140, as for me it is quite a reasonable choice))))Clamibot, Papusan, electrosoft and 1 other person like this.

Ok so just checked out the old pump is in good working order and the fittings are still ok. Looks good, so have ordered some fresh fluid/tubing along with a fluid temp sensor. Also a slim EK 280MM radiator to go with my existing fan arrangement.
I may use Aida pro to feed temps back to the controller directly so I can have curves for CPU/GPU temps built in.
Just the ground cable for the pump is showing a bit of abuse so a little soldering needed for that. Otherwise I am pleased. Cleaned out the pump and it ran strong
EK D5 pump/reservoir combo
EK Water Blocks EK-CoolStream SE 280
EK 13/10 tubing
2xCorsair Maglev 140MM fans
Monsoon black chrome compression fittings
Mayhems X1 Red fluid
Plus I have some old angled fittings. My hope it to have it all sit within the stand as it currently is.
Here is a video of how it is currently setup. I'll have to change the fan behaviour as it reads only off the input temps of the exhaust sensors. You can get Aida 64 pro to feed sensor data into the aquaero from your system and give it a virtual sensor of your actual CPU/GPU temps.

Guess @Meaker@Sager is going to be water cooling and over clocking the snot out of his system.

With the missing phases, as far as the power supply from the machine and cooling is concerned cooling a single 3070 is super easy compared to shunt modded 1080 SLI doing about 550W.dmanti, hacktrix2006, DaMafiaGamer and 1 other person like this. -

You do know I messing with you right. I can't wait to see the numbers.
I would shunt the 3070 though as the 140w power limit doesn't leave head room for vram and vcore over clocking or at least mine doesn't.

I'll take it step by step and see where things are. A shunt mod of some kind will be likely.

Yes, this radiator can work without connecting a water cooling system

Slight change of plans, no flow meter for now as it was out of stock and it's a bit of a wait for one to come in so I've just plumbed in a straight run of tubing there. I've got tubes waiting now to plumb up so I'll be able to get it working very quickly when it arrives.
