    Hahaha... Early July.... You know, the ASUS C90S has been "arriving to peoples' doors" (ETA) since Late May.

    This really confuses me. Why the hell does RJTech list under the specifications of the laptop that they have a built-in fingerprint reader, if it's not out yet? I've tried calling sales and emailing them, and I'm getting nada. Anyone know the reason?

    Last night I had a dream about the notebook coming to my house. All romantic-movie style. The postman saw me exit the door, and we looked deep into each others' eyes... then I ran toward him (slow-motion, of course) and he toward me. We embraced for a powerful moment, and he gave me my package. Then I just kinda walked back inside. That's all I remember of it. Pretty cool though :D

    It's driving me insane, just like all of you!!!!!!! First I ordered C90S and was told that it was coming in early july then it turned out it was mid july...So I switched to NP5790 in great hopes of me getting it way before C90S will come out...I was told that NP5790 will be there early july...and guess what...it mid july...I don't have my tracking number....and I'm loosing my mind..!!!11 I can't wait to play something on my lappy ( have WoW in mind...even in dreams lol)...I hope and pray that I will get it by next week!!!! If not....hmmm.....
    BTW If my lappy will be shipped out on friday...will it "travel" over the weekend or only on business days????11

    It originally did come with a free fingerprint reader, but due to supply shortages, it had to be cut from the first few batches of shipments. So it will be available sometime in the next couple of weeks. But those of us who pre-ordered (but now aren't getting the reader) will get $50 back. RJTech probably just hasn't updated their website yet.

    And like all of y'all - ordered from Xotic on June 23, still on "PRE-ORDER Pending Item Arrival". I bet they're working their butts off trying to keep up with all these orders they have to fill simultaneously. (they have to contend with all those NP2090 people too).

    just called xotic and the guy said that mine was being built, and that they were mainly handling other preorders before mine. ETA window should be 3-7 buisness days until its at my door step. ^_^

    I spoke with the Xotic one himself last night... be very jealous 5790 buyers, he has one.

    He told me that he'd try to have benchmarks out by the end of the week. He also said to give him time as far as the full review goes.

    He told me the specs, but I'm not on my primary machine where I log IM chats, but trust me when I tell you, it's sexay.

    HAHAHAHAHA Oh wow, this made me laugh so hard. Not sure if you meant to make it such a bad post or not, but damn son, you need to learn how to type properly.

    "Losing" not "loosing". And never put !!11111!11!111 because it just makes you look dumb. Same thing with "days???11" But it made me laugh. Especially the mention of WoW in such a post.

    My order has been processed at Eurocom and at the very latest will be shipped out at the end of July. They start shipping them at the end of this week but since I just ordered I'm probably at the back of the line. Oh well, I can wait! Gears of War and Crysis, here I come!

    We are working on 5790's in the order they were ordered. There are allot of pre-orders and we are going through them as fast as we can without compromising testing. Each unit has to test out before it is released for shipment. As soon as orders are done testing we will ship them out right away :)

    It depends on the configuration also that was ordered. Systems with 4GB of Ram are running behind orders that have 2 GB or less. (Sager had a slight delay on 2GB modules)

    One other thing is WSXGA models will ship a little later then WUXGA models.

    The memory gives you a advantage but the screen will give you a disadvantage. Sager has just received 4GB modules (about 30pcs) and will begin shipping 4GB orders today (for the first time) :) The WSXGA models will be approximately 2 weeks to ship. (Per Sager) More 2GB RAM modules will be in next week.

    I know this is very frustrating to all. We apologize for this. You can be assured Sager and Xotic PC are doing their best to get all orders shipped ASAP.

    I heard about the 2 week delay on the WSXGA so I switched my order to WUXGA and xotic gave me $50 cash back. Its a worse screen to game on, but I need the laptop fast so a two week delay is out of the question.

    Because WUXGA is at a higher resolution which would decrease the performance compared to WSXGA which has a lower native resolution.

    Yeah but you can change the native resolution on WUXGA but cannot on WSXGA. SO.... if im not mistaken you can lower the res on a WUXGA screen if for some reason your games start slowing down... which i don't suspect will happen too often in the near future because the NP5790 will open a can of e-whoopass

    Aw man... :( I technically don't need the laptop before August 16 or so, but still, I was hoping it would be pretty soon... and there's no way I'm "upgrading" to WUXGA - it would hurt my gaming performance at native res, and my eyes can't stand such tiny text - I know I could increase the DPI, but then there would be no point, except to waste $195 that I don't have...

    As bbos states above, depending on the configuration he actually saved money by going to the WUXGA. (He had the same configuration as the special package but with the WSXGA) This moved him from the standard package to the special package with the WUXGA change.

    Just food for thought :)
