Its the Intel NDA thats lifting on the platform (7 Series Chipset), its not the NDA for:

    - Anything AMD
    - Intel Ivy Bridge Quad or Dual Cores

    Those things come later ;)

It is the Intel NDA. There is no set ETA for AMD video cards for these models.

not Intel, you will see new models release tonight but still using 2nd Gen CPU's until the Intel NDA lifts later in the month.

Oh brother, I'd though I'd see all the Intel NDA stuff lifted tonight with the actual launch coming April 20something. This has been frustrating, to say the least.

Can't wait to see the config options. If the price on the 675m is low enough it could be a great choice.

    Edit: 675m is a $100 upgrade? Nice!

I think it might actually be now because Xotic has the p170em listed as the chassis for the Sager NP9170 with the 670m stock and the 675m a $100 upgrade.

Hmm... 2-3 hour battery life is the estimate on xoticpc. That seems rather low for Optimus. Do you think that they haven't changed it yet?

So my question is what is the true difference between the 151em and the 150em. I know the 151 doesn't come with the illuminated keyboard and comes with a lower output dc adapter, is that it? Where does this extra 250 bucks worth of stuff come in to play?

    - Different Finish (Not Rubberized just plastic)
    - No backlit keyboard
    - Smaller AC Adapter

Thats the differences, and I only have it as around $120'ish in price difference Apples to Apples. At least for us.

Anyone else disappointed not to see the 660m offered? According to the latest owners manual the card should be supported so maybe we'll see it offered later?

I was also hoping to see IB but oh well. Does anyone know when that NDA will be lifted?

As everyone has to crunch through their pre-orders, I would say 10-14days'ish if you order today, if you already ordered, maybe a bit sooner. For the models that are shipping today.

OK, here's a question for you all. How much is it worth waiting for Ivy Bridge if I wanted this laptop to last for around 4 years or so? I'm guessing that I should probably wait, but it seems like IB brings more power efficiency than actual processing power increases (and a slight clock increase).

    Thoughts?

Also, the i7-3720QM seems like it's going to be an expensive upgrade -.-

Yeah I just gotta figure to order now or wait for IVB and the 660 to be released. The 675 is more powerful but also uses more power correct? With Optimus wouldn't it really not matter as much since when using the card you are likely to be plugged in?

    I'm buying from XoticPC.

I preordered my laptop, the NP8131 at the time, now the NP9130.

Does my account need to be a certain age to qualify for he $30 dollars off for being a NBR member? I've been following this thread and others for quite a while as I decided what computer to buy, but never found the need to post.

Do I qualify for the $30 off?

    I really hope so.

For those interested, I chose to get the 95% Glossy screen, upgrade to the i7-2670, get the 4x2gb sticks, the 750gb hybrid drive, the gtx 670m, no branding, The hdd caddy, and the 6300 ultimate-N.

    Can't wait!
