was a typo, thats what I meant!

I`m pretty shure that this means that 675M is 40nm. He couldn`t overclock the GPUs anymore than that if I understand the translation correctly. Click the pics to see bigger images
EDIT: I`m confused. It say GPU 1211 on this GPU-Z but the other leaks we seen was 1212. And June 2011 hmmm
Google translate -
This is off topic but intel is rolling out pcie 3 mobile mobo probably in 2013. Anyone think MXM will be revised ?
-
Anthony@MALIBAL Company Representative
That would depend on whether Nvidia wants to revise it, as they control the standard. PCI-E 3.0 is pretty useless on laptops though (for now) because there aren't any cards that need that bandwidth. Even on the desktop, only the highest end cards can hope to need that kind of bandwidth. -
no thats just an easy trik.....open and simply replace all "gtx 580m" in driver inf with "gtx 675m", or 999m whatever u like, and gpuz will read the name
1210=570m
1211=580m
1212=670m
1213=675m -
From all these rumors, just wait and see couple more days, CeBit is around the corner. Patience is a virtue
-
Kingpinzero ROUND ONE,FIGHT! You Win!
Looks fishy to me.
If that's the best a 675m can do I can sleep safe and sound with my 485m since at voltage I'm running 720/1850 24/7 with good temps.
I really hope something changes because at this point there's no reason to upgrade.
Probably the 680m will see the light in summer as already happened with 485m and 580m.
-
Isn't
1212=675m
1213=670m
-
Nothing Happens Before Its Time. My god, this is passing by so slowly
-
aha, Sneaky trick
But good thing that they can`t change the GPU ID or the date
-
nvm . . . lol mine came out the same way
-
On the first screenie CPU-Z shows 2760QM and GPU-Z Dell GTX675M in SLI, that means it runs in Alienware M18x.. no other laptop can't run both 2x100W GPU and SB CPU. Interesting) I like the clock bump though!
-
GT 640M, GT 650M and GTX 680M will be Kepler
http://forum.notebookreview.com/gaming-software-graphics-cards/649052-hurray-nvidia-600-series-not-just-fermi.html -
The GTX 680 for desktop is rumored at a summer release, but the 680m is not based off the desktop named version, but then if the desktop version follow suit of mobile, then it can't be based on anything below the 680, if it's Kepler, so is it not gonna be base of a desktop version :O.
-
Too much rumors flowing around lol
-
I'm not sure what you're saying, but there's a 100% chance that the GTX 680M will be coming from the GTX 660 or GTX 660 Ti.
No, it's running in the new 17" Clevo. -
Kevin, wow, New 17" Clevo? Any news on this one?
-
I assume he meant the new 18" Clevo..
-
dunno, probably not! as we heard the P180HM was discountinued there should be no 18" clevo laptop any more... i guess
-
Guys, what are you even talking about of course that was an Alienware with dual gtx580m with fake driver name. Even the top bar of the result window shows that...no need to go on about it, it was a very bad fake.
The dual gpu 17inch Clevo with mobile chipset is still far away in Q4 -
Well, I heard about the IB delay but today this leaked Spring2012ProcessorFlipbook.pdf and HARDOCP - Complete Ivy Bridge Line-Up Leaked and http://retailedge.intel.com/Content...essorFlipbook/Spring2012ProcessorFlipbook.pdf , lets hope that it is not delayed yet... The intel web site is now offline...

Thanks for the "spoiler" function, took up quite a large size of the site.
Also very nice, although it's sad there's no bechmarking
awesome find!
Gj +1 rep -
Prema awesome find! +rep) hopefully Terrans Force reveals some benches shortly... The laptop looks nice with the new KB! Is it the only design change?
-
this might be a stupid question: can anyone identify the port next to HDMI on the back of the laptop? (and no, im not talking about DVI, the other one!
) cant be e-sata, since they moved that one to the left side...
cheers -
Display Port!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DisplayPort -
There are some other changes.
- No fingerprint reader
- The eSATA/USB combo that was located at the back is moved to the left side and replaced with a DisplayPort.
Thats's all I see that that is different but I could have missed something. -
thx prema, as i said: stupid question
additional stuff:
3 USB 3.0 ports + 1 USB 2.0 port instead of 2/2
as far as i remember, not all P150HM laptops included a fingerprint reader, so it missing doesnt have to mean anything...
they moved the windows button to the right KB side (more gamer-friendly?)
thats it from me so far ^^
cheers -
Indeed, if you look closely you can see the original P150HM-barebone/shell has been remade into a little bit more slicker and rounder way.
-
Oh no. Don't tell me that for the touchpad they've gone to either a rocker style button, or the single button with multi-touch gestures.
Oh Clevo, what have you done?! -
Looks like it, I freaking hate them, Thinkpad T400's was flawless. I'll be using a G700 mouse though.
-
Man, it's like Clevo always has to make one terrible design decision with each revision.
I have no info, but if there's a P150EM, common sense says there's also a P170EM, right? -
There is definitely a P150EM and a P170EM, it's been in youtube for ages, though there was no technical information about them until recently.
-
wouldnt a P170EM also be a single GPU system?
-
So will there be a P170EM Q2(if on schedule)
-
Yes there will be a P170EM, also yes it will be single GPU (Thats what the 1 stands for in its model name, Performance Series, Single GPU, 17" Size, 1st Sub model, Eagle River Chipset (7 Series) Mobile)
-
What's the difference between Eagle River and Chief River?
-
aaaaaaah, now u made me see the light mythlogic
hahaha
-
Any word on a revision of the P151?
Sent from my HTC Vivid -
It might be a single button secured into two parts, designed into one.
-
Chief River is the platform, Eagle is the chipset specifically. I know its a little odd but to intel Platforms and Chipsets are different.
-
Yes there will be a revision of the P151 also.
-

those look like the current gen to me.. finger print reader and keyboard design/layout
-
sorry you're right...
I'm so enthusiastic about the new version that did not even notice...can't wait to get rid of my, very, old acer -
Wow! That keyboard and backlighting is better than I was expecting. I want to see a side by side comparison.
-
Damit, I do not like the single button mouse. Perhaps it will not be as bad as I fear, only time and usage will tell.
-
OMG....that looks sexy!...will it still be rubberized???
PS: i hate that single button keypad. -
For what it's worth, the right click on my Asus's single button design is broken...
-
The keyboard is non-chiclet, I guess it will bring better feeling when typing but easier to attract dust than the chiclet one.
But:
1. Why did Clevo move the Windows key to the right side? I think it's easier to operate when it's on the left (I use the windows key very often for hot key).
2. The keyboard has the "| \" button next to the spacebar, it's better to eliminate the same key on top of Enter button and make the Enter button larger (inverted L type). I got many troubles when typing with small Enter button because I hit the wrong Enter button many times.
Edit: I saw that the keyboard also lacks the right click button (usually between the Alt and Ctrl button on the right side).
