Enter BIOS by pressing F2 (when powering the machine up) and you should see: Modified by dsanke in the BIOS info right when you enter it

    Should be something like this:

Sorry for the lines in the screen, but i took the photo with my phone

The Interface will change or use the F2 Key when the Motherboard/Brand splash screen appears. The Bios information on the first page will appear or depending on the mod, the Bios interface will change.

    Hello all,

So I have updated bios for p751dm, works fine with same issue for audio jacks (though driver is realtek and audio works from speakers and some jack din't check properly which one I was in a hurry) and one more issue with my 780m which gets stuck at 324mhz and no matter what I do it's stuck at this p8 power state (I thinks it's p8, only 2 power states work) and perf cap reason is idle.

8086K does well, 4.6ghz in load, but my heatsink needs some mod for a contact with this cpu, otherwise it's half in the air and temps are far from OK.

Rolled back to original BIOS and the 780m runs fine, anyway should get a proper 9 or 10 series MXM for it but later.

Will try to update the p751dm2-g and try the new BIOS already from the 9 series BIOS thread, basically it should work just fine.

Reading the thread I noted that both P7xxDM and p7xxDMx suffer from same issues with audio jacks and shutdown going to restart while power not connected? Has anyone tried to fix these things?

Thank you for your quick reply! Do you by any chance also give me a source for this information, because I'm planning to buy an i5+ if I know this is true for certain.

    Hi
Thanks for the reply and i'm asking this after long time!. do you mean if i use any CPU without igpu like i3 9100f or i5 9400f on my w650kk1 laptop it will damage the Nvidia GPU? because it will run on Nvidia only? actually i'm not using screen saver function of laptop, my usage will be gaming, browsing, office works and movies.
and how it will affect the battery life?
    appreciate your reply.

I need your advice as well, if I can't run @5.0, do you recommend the i7 9700K instead? I'm have a plan to upgrade my KM1.

A machine setup for g-sync except (GPUs and panel and BIOS) for having optimus will not enable it on an i3 CPU setup but will with i5/i7.

Rather go for 8700K(8086K). A amazing all around chips. All depends on your workflow. 12 threads is better than 8 if your workflow need it. You can’t hold high clocks with 9900K on the old Clevo’s. You need TM boards and cooling then.

I already ordered the TM1 CPU heatsink and x -Bracket for me and one of my friends (NBR Member) we will do the mod as soon as we get the parts.
So I have to decide about the CPU to try get one in the same time.
What I understand from you that the 8700k/8086k is better than the 9700k? and if I have the TM1 cooling so I can go for the 9900k?,

If you push 9900K you will reach power shutdown. A ok binned 9900K will let you go longer but not as far you want. I haven’t thermal problems but Mb can’t let me go as long I want.

8700K let you run higher clocks.

All depends on what you’re goal is.

When I upgraded my old KM1 to 8086k (delided), Prema tried to make it run stable @5.0, but it runs only @4.9 stable with undervaluing -150, I really appreciate his remote support. It was a great system.
I don't need to bush the 9900k, I only need to make it run stable (If @4.9 all cores will be fine) and to be a selling point after few months. But if not stable enough, then 8700k will be my choice. That's why I need to make sure from someone like you guys already has the experience.
I never sell any system without making sure 100% is working fine, most of my buyers are my friends and relatives, I can't take any risk with them even if they are just strangers.
    - Stability + Performance
    - Selling point
    - Value added
These are what I'm looking for.

8700K. Stock is 4.3 on all cores. Nothing is near this level in long time use in todays laptop. 8 cores or 16 threads running in today’s notebooks is a joke.

If you use any CPU without iGPU , it wouldn't cause your discrete GPU damage , but your laptop will keep black screen because the display need iGPU to work. And for this model , the display output also connect to iGPU, so if you want use it as a normal laptop , do not choose CPU without iGPU.

In my km1 - tm1 mod I could use a very good 9900kf chip on 4,3ghz around 75-80C. To be honest it is just not worth it... with a good 8086k or 8700k you can get easily 4,7-4,8Ghz and the price per buck it is better. I will give a shot later to the 9900k, I will also get a tm1 cpu heatsink, and will put it direct die with OC frame if it is possible.

So far pascal BIOS aren't unlocked for any type of stuff to be unlocked :/. You can try the tdp modifier (search: tdp modifier in this forum) on a vBios for your gpu. Dump the vBios with gpu-Z and modified the tdp and reflash the vBios with a programmer

It should run fine. I'm running a 8086k in a P870DM-G which has the 5v fans vs the 12v monsters in the DM3 and it is OC'd to 4.5ghz on all cores @ -150uv and works great and passes all my stability criteria in my sig.

Oh they work but don't expect top notch performance out of them. Especially if you've bought a 8700t es, they are DREADFUL!

A 7700k at stock is faster than those pieces of rubbish!

ok but here the result of i7 8700T ES :
    User Benchmark: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/20192194
    CPU-Z benchmark : https://valid.x86.fr/jf615w
Note' : I7 8700T ES sometimes will identify as CPU-0000
but here the strangest part : before I install the I7 8700T ES ,i were using i3 8100 ,the i3 acting very strange like having black screen a few times and somehow managed to damage my cache drive (all app Icon were turned into 'X in the box' icon inside the search tab) , after I installed i7, everything returns to normal (all app icon recovered).

so can someone explain? I'm very confused...
