You should probably rather contact prema per private message. I don't know if Prema has an official mail, but if he has I'm pretty sure it would be so full of requests etc, that he would probably avoid it.

Seems we must have patience , is a week that he doesn't connect to the forum. Personal life, jobs , and all sort of stuffs can keep him far from here.
The life is full of thing to do, waiting we can just focus on other stuffs.
Could be interesting just to know if he read our requests.

    Hello Prema,

    Please help me!!

I have a Clevo P770ZM since January 2015. When I bought it, the seller, Clevo Center from Porto in Portugal, told me that the laptop could run an M.2 SDD for the system, but I opted for the regular SSD because of the high price them of the M.2 SSD modules. But I always had in mind the upgrade.

Last June, I finally bought an Samsung SSD M.2 2280 Samsung 960 Evo 250GB TLC V-NAND NVMe, but after struggling for hours trying to make the BIOS to recognize the dam thing, I run into a post in this forum by saturnotaku dated from July 2016 that confirmed that it was possible but I needed a new BIOS by Prema.

I remembered then that the seller, Clevo Center, did had an upgrade BIOS item in the website so I contacted them to request assistance to do the upgrade of the BIOS and, by the way, request an RAM upgrade and an a full maintenance.

The first answer from the seller, via chat (you can’t contact them by phone) was that this computer didn’t recognize this M.2 module (note that they sell this exact module on their shop!!), and when I confronted them with the information they gave me 2 years ago and the information on your forum, they told me that they were goanna contact the BIOS programmer (I’m guessing PREMA?!?), to get the BIOS version for my laptop, and them contact me to proceed to the upgrade.

I didn’t got any news after, and I’ve tried to contact them 3 more times and they simply don’t respond.

I’ve tried to find the BIOS from you to upgrade the bios myself, but, nowadays its practically impossible.

Could you please tell me where to find the BIOS or send me??

I just want to use the M.2 as the system disk, I'm a video editor, so I'm not interested in modding the laptop for gaming, but gaming laptops are great workstations for video!!!

    Thank you for your time.

    Best regards,

    Margarida

You need to sort things out with Clevo Portugal. They are supposed to be @Prema partners, so they will be able to help you, if there is a BIOS mod for P770ZM

    So I got a problem,

    I bought a BTO X Book 15cl56 (which is basicly a Clevo P150SM barebone) with an i7 4700mq and a gtx 780M.

I went to the "manufacturer's" website and (accidentely) downloaded and flashed a bios from the newer version with the gtx 8xxM series. Now i'm trying to flash the right bios but it won't let me because it's an older version. The reason why I'm doing is because I cannot install my nvidia driver anymore. The only way is to force it from device manager were I manually install the driver. The problem with this though, is that I have no way to enable the GPU and I have no nvidia control panel were I can force it to run on the nvidia gpu. Also trying to install the nvidia driver after I forced it won't work. It gives an error were it cannot detect compatible harware.

Now I saw a link from Prema to a modded bios with version 1.5.x.x So I thought I would give that a try. Unfortunately the download link is dead. So Prema (or anyone else) can you help me?

Not sure if I'm posting in the right threads or not, but I can't PM (can check post history I guess.. which is all of 3 posts x.x )

Does anyone happen to have the V2 Premamod bios for Clevo P370SM3 (I think the newer build supports VT-x, as well?); I ended up foolishly misplacing the USB key I had used many years ago, and now suddenly the bios will not start. Did CMOS reset, and still same problem. Tried to flash stock bios through Fn + B method, but doesn't work, either. Any help would be much appreciated =) Apparently the latest build is from late 2014?

Is there a Prema Bios "shop" or link to buy/donate for a P870DM-G bios?

I'll gladly pay for it. I just don't know where to go or who to contact.

I have P870DM-G, but I'm stuck with XTU to alter BIOS settings.

My reseller only had the stock BIOS in it. I can't do much of anything in it except change the drive boot order, which doesn't help much for overclocking and ram timings.

    Thanks.

I think you're both out of luck, as he does not give it out to individuals. Only to resellers. The thing is that these resellers' prices are sometimes outrageously more than just buying the Clevo barebones by themselves (upwards of US$500). So you're either stuck paying super elevated prices for a Clevo flashed with Prema BIOS, or you get a barebones Clevo at a reasonable price form a barebones reseller, but with the stock Clevo BIOS.

There are also shops that aren't that much more expensive because of the Prema part but other services....

You want your seller to apply all the processes they do, unless you can.

Prema BIOS works best with a customized laptop.

Hey guys i preordered p775tm1 and learned that wont be able to underclock/overclock with stock bios? Thinking i might need to underclock incase gets hot so would love the option do so and run 8700k at lower tdp/clocks. I sent prima pm week ago and no answer. Is it possible to buy/donate to get it? Or am i stuck with stock speeds/settings?

You didn't preorder from a partner shop? That would help a lot with keeping the temps down by using their delid and pro paste services...

No, partner shop in my country was quite more expensive and couldnt have it shipped to me fast enough from them as going travelling soon. Does premo provide also to non partner buyers in need? If not through bios Is it maybe possible for me to underclock with it perhaps through some program within windows?

I'm apparently really late to the party and have an OriginPC EON17-X (Clevo P770ZM) from a couple years back that has always felt a bit shackled in the BIOS settings department. I finally got time to do real research and was thrilled to see that it sounds like there might be a custom Prema BIOS available for it... then the more I read the more it sounded like nothing is available anymore. Every thread I follow ends with dead links or links to his site which simply asks for an email address. Sounds like someone screwed with his hard work and he was rightfully upset, but I'm hoping somewhere there is a repository of the old BIOS mods he made. I hate when people ask for help without doing basic searching, but I've spent the last day reading threads, going down virtual rabbit holes, and even (poorly) translating Chinese message board threads that came up in my search results, with no luck. Is there any chance someone has the modded Clevo P770ZM bios or a suggestion on where to find it? I guess if nothing else I can try to reach out directly on Twitter but I'm trying to avoid bugging the poor guy if the whole modding thing left a bad taste in his mouth.

    Thanks for any help.

Usually if I don't answer for such a long time I either have nothing worth the 'premamod' branding for your model at the time of request, or it's a special feature version requested by and exclusive to a certain party, which due to agreements I can neither make available to end-user nor even talk about.

There seems to be numerous people on this forum i read about that you helped them via pm regardless if they are exclusive to certain party which was a great good hearted thing u did for those lucky individuals. I was very broken to find out too late that my bios is limited and only through certain exclusive resellers can one benefit from something that every clevo should have the ability to aquire, if not stock than for a price which id be happy to pay for. There are many others like myself desperately in need of somthing only you can help with which i asked before nicely and asking again please help.

I was thinking of canceling but cant afford to cancel my order and go with a prema partner as i sent payment through bank transfer so would loose those fees and loose much more money for extra shipping and vat due to where im located if i ordered from nearest prema reseller. It isnt fair for people that dont live in or near prema reseller country to not be able have privlage to affordably own such a nessessary component of these systems.i hope one day it will be more available to those in need and i will be able to aquire ur bios as i feel now i will not be able to get most out of my system :(

Going through your past posts clearly shows that Mr. Fox made you aware of the firmware before the purchase.
You are also aware that I help people who could not purchase from a partner shop.
You now also know that re-seller haven't received their MP hardware at this point, which includes myself as not even having access to final hardware to work with.
Yet you find reasons to whine on...
We can only do so much guys...

Yeah, maybe I am old school, but I prefer a smaller group of 'supporter' over a larger one of 'followers'.

Prema hasn't even gotten one of the newer Coffee Lake models on his hands yet, to start upgrading his BIOS to be compatible with it. Everyone chill and just wait for him to work it out.

Quick question. Is it possible for the vBIOS to be badly installed and cause problems even if the card isn't bricked? When I test overclocks with heaven and inspector, heaven crashes (it didn't used to) and then inspector seems to not recognize my card anymore. What's up with this?

I see a lot of people talking about Sager bios and they make it sound like Prema bios is superior. Can someone explain this to me? Google doesn't yield much results.
