Yeah I tried my wireless and worked normally, but I was only a few feet away from it.
I guess the next thing to ask is do you have a wireless router? If you do use one you might be getting some sort of interference, try moving closer to it and see if you still get lags or spikes? You might have to reposition it to get wider/stronger signal.
And on the GTX's in SLI I would hold off if I were you at least until someone could post some scores and benchmarks to see were it lies on the food chain.
I know they probably will put up better numbers than 9800M GT's in SLI, the question is how much better.
    $600 better, I don't know man............
    Just wait If you could.

My RMA status has been granted and the production phase of my new laptop has already started. XoticPc says it should ship mid to late next week, so its the waiting period all over again. I m pretty excited. I want to see those 9800m GTX scores with Q9650.

If i was in youre position and i been the last 1-2 months i would try to grab 2 9800GT instead of GTX before they are out of stock,is common sense that nvidia try to force the market by using this policy to buy there GTXs on high price now since the majority of consumers cant justify paying all this premium diferrence getting sth that cant deliver the equal performance.

EDIT:Finally my D901C and Nexus just arrived but im in work,i cant wait for some benchs of the D901C,ill try to make a new thread the next week sth like a small review and comparison between the 2 systems.

ok guys so here is the cit rep. My new 9262 with 2Gb 9800mGTX SLI just arrived and 3dmark06 scores are crap. Not just bad but total shhhiieeet. In some cases lower than even my old 9800GT SLI. I was pretty disappointed until I fired up crysis. This games absolutely flies almost maxed out. I m making a video for youtube so u can actually see how well this game performs on a 9262. Sit tight, hopefully with upload the video will be available in 30mins.

forget the videos. simply run the internal benchmark utility supplied by the game to verify how much faster your rig is.

I get 14.654 in 3dMark06 so thats crap. However Crysis runs noticably better than 9800GT SLI so I ll post my benches on that soon.

Just find the bin folder that is in your Crysis folder, you should see a GPU and CPU .bat file. Use the GPU.bat.

ok one more question. When I start the GPU benchmark, how can I change the resolution. It just runs itself in a loop, so how can I get the results from the benchmark? I got bored after it did 3rd or 4th time the same loop.

no one will be selling the 9800m gt anything for the time being. nvidia discontinued it. i just got off the phone with sager and they wont even sell you a 9800gt anything anymore. so they droped the price of the gtx to 795.00. dammmn shame!!! i knew i should have gotten it before.... they will be updating their site tonight. (so they say)

i had the thing in the system as they dropped the card. i was like... it's on your site...they said...not anymore...*LOL* the only reason why they still sell the 5796 is because they tring to get rid of them before they either recall them or get stuck with them.

That's not right. As long as the offer is public, accepting it makes the deal, and it can't/shouldn't be yanked right out from underneath the feet of someone who's in the system. I don't know how cantankerous you feel like being, but a little grousing on the phone - particularly about how you'd already accepted their offer, which was good as long as it was on the site, and whatnot - might be enough to shake the last one free from the tree.

On the other hand, your phone time might be better spent calling up RJTech - their configuration page for the D901C still lists single and SLi 9800 GT cards. They might still have stock even though Sager's out.

if you bought your system and have it within 30 days, you can ask for a price adjustment, then they should easily credit you back the difference of the new lower price... its not awful, just learn to do price adjustments. ;)

Note: I am talking about retailers/vendors in general... you should contact your vendor to see the exact details on how they will handle any price matches or price adjustments... they don't all do it the same way.

Thanks Gophn. I ve sent them an email about that. I overpaid $700 for my config and the moment it gets in my hands they lower the prices on almost most of the components. i would go with a bluray drive then If I new I would be saving that much ... ehhh at least the laptop is a beast :)

that would be the least of my concerns. they are a reputable company and im sure it's not even going to be the slightest problem to get the difference back.

edit: getting two gt's is something different. lol

change the game's video settings in-game and then exit to run the benchmark. let it do it's thing by looping a few times. after it's done it will show you the results.

we really need wxga, wsxga, wuxga resolutions in all high and all very high settings.

WoW, I'm really excited now. Got a new toy on the way. Ain't nothing like new toys! Now I need to call Comcast and get internet and cable (lol, yeah, was waiting until I got the computer). Need to get a router too. This machine is going to make my setup KING! I'm going to integrate everything I have and have this new machine control it remotely. It's going to be so beautiful :'( (tear)

two different places. the one that still has it listed is rjtech. and that's only till they get rid of what they have left. and the one that said they weren't selling anymore was sager. i was on the phone with both places.

over the phone or on the website? i was trying to get them to switch it and they kept telling me no. they didn't have any gt's left. i guess i got the wrong sales guy then, but i called 3 times. and they all said no. so congrats on getting the gt's!!

After making the terrible mistake of chosing alienware first, I have cancelled my m17x, luckily the service was so bad BEFORE I got it, so I only needed to cancel it.

Now just ordered my 9262 from Kobalt computers (UK) - Excellenct company Btw

    Spec:

    17'' 1900x1200 screen
    Q9650 3.0Ghz
    4gig of RAM
    Vista ultimate 64 bit
    3x320 Gb 7200rpm (960Gb total) in RAID 0
    Blu-ray writer
    2x 9800 GTX in SLI

they had some yesterday. but they are not going to tell me that number...*LOL*. and yes i tried to get it as well. they just said it will stay on there site till they use up all the cards they have left. the nice thing bout them is...you really only need to get the main parts. starting with that sli that you can't just go get anywhere else. and then you can put the rest together in your own time or you can get a complete system from them for like 2900.00 with dual gt's and a q9550
