yay im part of the club! i ordered my 2090 on august 19th, and have yet to hear word on it. can't wait. hopefully it will come a week or two before school starts so i can set it up and stuff.

 

I ordered mine on the 17th of august and i start school on tuesday. Woe is me.

Justin informed me that my laptop should ship out late next week. So that means it's been about one month.

 

ehhh i was told it would ship before the end of august. and then i was told it would ship by the first part of september. i wish the first was true.

thats what they told me too. but im happy to get a tracking number from them last friday. i should get mine this week if nothing goes wrong with UPS. still not that bad.

im excited.

mmmm i just called xotic today. they said they would ship in 5-9 business days =[ I still have a while to wait. and on top of that i have to wait 3-6 business days for it to be shipped. so i probably wont get mine until last week of september at the latest. but hopefully i get it sooner because im gonna be gone to college if it arrives that late.

 

Did you get WSXGA or WXGA Banana? You ordered 10 days later than me and it looks like ours are shipping around the same time.

 

According to UPS my order will be here tomorrow. I ordered the 13th of August.

 

what drivers are you guys using for Vista 32bit? im looking at laptopvideo2go.com's selection but im not sure which one is the most stable and peformance inhancing. the ones i have from sagernotebooks.com suppor area is not cutting it.

 

163.44 work perfectly for me, i recommend those. I tried the 165 ones but the monitor refuses to turn on after sleep mode..

Grah. I ordered on August 4th and I haven't even gotten shipment confirmation yet. My order was the same as yours, except with 1x2GB of ram.

Well I got my 2090 today and i couldn't be any more satisfied with it so far. The screen looks amazing, its very sharp. I have had no problems so far with 64-bit vista, got all my drivers and everything else working. I am so happy with this notebook, it was defiantly worth the wait.

 

well mine is in testing...hopefully xotic will ship it out today, so i could receive it next week........i'm suprised i made it through 4 weeks of college w/o a computer

 

i just recieved an extra stick of ram from newegg...when is the best time to install it into the system????

WooHoo. Ordered mine on august 20th and it shipped yesterday, scheduled to arrive on the 11th. WSXGA, t7500, 4 gigs of ram, no tv tuner no bluetooth. Basically shat my pants when i saw the email. Lots of pictures and fun tests await me when i get it.

 

I ordered mine on August 19th. WXGA, T7500, 2GB RAM, no tv tuner or bluetooth. I have yet to hear anything past "Pre Order Pending Item Arrival."

It would be great to get my laptop early next week because I will be moving out the weekend after...Sigh, I ordered before you and WXGA but you still got before me. I wonder how that works.

 

Justin originally told me mine would be shipped today, but I guess something came up. It is now "expected to ship next week."

Well mine did just skip from pre order to shipped, no other steps in between. So i wouldnt use their phases as anything to count on. i bet youll get it shipped within the week, Have hope.

And i'll keep on hoping. I ordered a Razer Copperhead 2 days ago, and it's already shipping. I wish laptops were like that haha.

yay...my sager 2090 ships in 2-7 business days and then another 3-6 business days for it to arrive. woohoo u can tell how excited i am...

on the other hand, i got a free processor upgrade which i dont really need, but got for free so i wont complain.

ordered mine on august 16 still haven't received it...xotic told me either last week friday or today....i'm constanstly refreshing the my mother's msn mail account waiting for xotic to tell its been shipped

 

i'm tempted to ask xotic about my order... i ordered on aug 26th, and my payment arrived on sept 4th (from the shipping number). Do they send an e-mail when they received payment?

 

i kinda hate calling them......but it's really frustrating to have to use a roommate 's computer or wait in line to use the library's computer......i didn't think i would make it 3 weeks of college w/o no computer

Same here, but for the 2090 I don't see how you could feel you made a mistake given the price point.

When ordering on Aug 17th from XoTicPC, I was told by Justign that my order would ship in the "first part" of September. And today after emailing I got a response that it would take another 3-9 days to ship. Bummer.

the strange thing is, how unbashful, and how un-apologetic xoticpc has been to all of this.

i've never gotten a straight answer for them, and never an explanation for delays. i can't imagine what would happen if somebody from the 20th century actually went through this, payed $1300 and went a full month without getting their product or service or anything

 

True. Though in my experience they've been very cordial and quick in answering but extremely vague and yeah like you said, unapologetic.

 

I finally ordered the 2090 yesterday, after researching for three weeks...It has everything I wanted, except the 17" screen...But, the 17" was just too much money...I bought it from PowerNotebooks...I wasn't really thrilled with Xotic the first time I called, they didn't seem very interested in getting my business...In all fairness though, I called Xotic back yesterday, and the girl I talked too was much more friendly...But, Ron at PowerNotebooks won me over, when he spent an hour on the phone with me, the first time I called, and answered every question I had...So, just relating my experience...This will be my first laptop, so i'm very excited...Here's my configuration

Strange, I checked on my order today via email and they got back to me in about 2 hours.
I also was told the first part of Sept but was told 5-7 days until it ships in the reply. They said mine was ready for testing as soon a slot opened up. Sounds like they got a lot of laptops in and are putting them through their paces.

After 30 days in Dell hell with another 16 days tacked on the day my laptop was supposed to ship, well lets just say these guys are a breath of fresh air compared to that experience.

 

I emailed XoticPC two weeks ago and asked when my 2090 would arrive, and they told me it would ship in 5-7 business days. I emailed them today two weeks later, and they emailed me back that it will ship in 5-7 days lol. I wouldn't go by what any of them say, I think they'll tell you whatever you want to hear.

 

I ordered the 2090 on August 22nd, and was told last Friday I would be shipped today at latest. When I called today to check in, was told something happened at a factory and unless by some luck mine was already in transit overseas then I would wait another few weeks. I know this is short considering the many pre-orders from june-july, but I would still like a confirmation on this? I just started college, so I really would like to have it.

I ordered from powernotebooks so far they have been extremely helpful in answering all my questions.


If this helps--ordered the T7300 2.0Ghz, with Bluetooth, no tuner, and Glossy 1280x800 screen.
