I never heard of adjusting ram timing, I guess you will need to buy new rams for that.

You can chance the frequency of the RAM, but I`ve got no clue as how to do that.
    However, Audigy does :D

Actually, you cannot change the CAS Latency timing on laptop memory, unless both the BIOS and memory pieces allow you to do it. I am not aware of any laptops that will.

If you want lower latency you have to buy the memory pieces that are lower latency, and since the lowest latency 667MHz SODIMMS available today are 4-4-4-12 you shouldn't have any issues with the BIOS.

    4-3-3-4? Do you mean 4-3-3-10?

    What memory are you using?

What is the memory's CAS Latency rating?

man that sucks, no fan options?? maybe they are done a different way now??

or maybe needs bios 1.00.09 for some reason.. hmm not sure why they would remove the fan settings.. we could always add them back if we pull them from the old one.. have you tried to open the .07sh with an editor.. if we can open it we can import the fan settings back in

If u have tried the official EC07, it also doesn´t have Fn+x options. I think it´s only for Sager´s request.

It can`t be that, since Kaltmond said there`s no fan control.
    So what gives?

Is keyboard firmware not the right term? I thought the KBC/EC firmware controlled the keyboard, and not really the fans per se -- it's just that the Sager variety of KBC/EC firmware added fan controls with the keyboard.

So, the "embedded controller" controls the fans?

No that provides interfaces for the CPU to communicate with the system chipset.
The KBC one controlls the fans (since it`s key related :D)

Sorry for having so many questions, but, if the clevo KBC/EC firmware does not have keyboard fan controls, then what part about it controls the fans?

Is the fan control left to the system bios?

No, the KBC does control the fan speeds(auto/med/max).
It`s this last particular KBC released that does not apparently do that.
Thing of it this way : when you press Fn+F(whatever) it does something. That`s what the KBC is for, to make that key combination into a shortcut for an operation.
No negation or punctuation makes for better intonation.
    Lol.

Not sure I get this. :)

Anyways, I think maybe I haven't asked the question properly. If the Clevo firmware does not provide for keyboard fan controls, then the speeds of the fans must be controlled by something else. Is that something else the system bios? I understand that recent versions of the firmware gave users the ability to manipulate fan speeds, but if those manual controls don't exist, then it must be automated by something else...

The latest KBC firmware is the 07Sh from Sager...
However ,apparently the latest one, released by *rumour* Clevo at Sager`s request drops the fan control for some reason.

Did you guys know that having 2 conductive lines through which passes electrical current can interfere with brainwaves and such?

Do you know how to backup the firmware, I have doubts that the new firmware 07sh might be unable to map turkish characters since it is a universal update.
    Please someone knows about it..

PS: I backed-up my bios 1.00.03 bios successfully with winphlash but how will I backup my 1.00.03 firmware since winphlash is only a bios back-up and flash utility.

Other than that I found how to adjust spd timings.
Not spdtool or thaiphoon which are not easy to use.
I found out that MemSet is a wonderful tool, just what overclockers want, easy and secure.
    To your knowlegde.
