@h3tz3r: It could well be not the cpu failing at all and be something else not liking the high fsb - lots of other components run off the fsb, not just the cpu... do you have 800MHz ram in there cause if you've got 667 it might not like the overclock
-
Theriko not really, i have a 667mhz ram and when overclocking it never fails.
-
@brainer: i have no problem till 2,9GHz, but i think the cooling is high enough to get more CPU power. But therefor the cpu voltage needs to be a little bit higher. Do you have a t9300 too, and which oc?
@theriko: at the moment i dont know what ram i have, because i´m not at home. But i think its 667 because 800 isn´t supported by the m570ru.
And the bios, have somebody one where i have have oc functions. Or has somebody a selfmade, for example with "Phoenix Bios Editor" ?? -
if you dont have a prob till 2.9ghz then those 100mhz arent worth all those BSODs believe me, and about my CPU, i have the t7200 with 2ghz
planning to overclock to 2.4 or 2.5 dunno, my max temp with 2.2ghz is 63c on CPU using Orthos
-
The 570ru will downclock 800MHz ram to 667MHz but it generally runs at tighter timings and supports overclocking better
-
Increasing the FSb will get the RAM to run at 800Mhz, just check Audigy`s sig
-
Yes I know that, I was saying that as standard it'll underclock it but then it will 'overclock' (back to standard speeds) better than 667MHz ram will
-
bah. this sucks, setfsb doesnt recognize my Aw m9750, and Clockgen allows me to only overclock to 2.2ghz ( from 2ghz)
-
I was guessing that new Intel mobile processors for centrino 2 are compatible with our sockets (or not?) so to grant compatibility, Clevo should launch a new bios that eventually could fix the PCI-E FSB issue...
-
They not support any kind of overclocking(except on Extreme Procs, wich is made via unlocked multis), so they will never bother to fix something that happens on an unsupported environment.
-
I agree with you.. but new processor's support, they have to do this!
-
No way... new chipset needed: Mobile Intel 4 Series Express chipset (code-named Cantiga; GL40, GS45, GM45, GM47 or PM45).
-
Oh... so no hopes!
-
Hey Audigy can you make an auto tool for the t7250 , the one you have on here doesnt work for me.
-
And for a T8100? for my friend..
-
If the problem continues, please reply back...
-
Audigy,
Methinks you need to set up a paypal acct for yourself my friend, if you haven't already. -
I don't think he did all this for money. donation is insulting for a holy man like him.
-
Audigy is doing this for free, you guys could pay 5$ for turning your 300$ CPUs into 500$ onesLast edited by a moderator: May 8, 2015 -
maybs when theres a way to OC this and my GPU
-
-
I did this to use on my T7700... so the only thing that I´m doing here is sharing with all of you...
No money here please! I´ve made only a simple thing, the hard work was made by the autor of SetFSB(japanese guy named Abo). He is the right one that needs donations... great work that he is doing in this tool.
I´ve only made a simple tool(.exe) that will improve the SetFSB usability. So you can OC your system with only a touch of a button or automatically if you put it on the start folder.
I haven´t had much time these days, to much work to deal with... but I promise that I will add the CPU models that haven´t receive support yet, and maybe improve/add features to the tool.
Thanks to everyone for the support!

joke, folks
).
The point wasn't to muck up a simple thing with complications, or to force you into a commercial position - it was, instead, a compliment in the sense that your s**t is good enough that, if you so wanted, you could earn the gelt needed to keep material body and spiritual mind together in living harmony. It was praise, boss, not a prescription or an imperative. Okey-dokey?Last edited by a moderator: May 8, 2015 -

Get some perspective, people. -
^
Well, I understand Audigy`s point on this.
Riva Tuner OCes your GPU and is totally free.
Catch my drift? -
-
I ws gonna post a pic about the drift, but since you already "got it" ...
Let me spell it out :
-
I can't wait for a Q6600 compatible version. *crosses fingers*
-
WHy is the added image all green and whatnot?
-
Is overclocking T7100 possible??
I've red once that T7100 is like a "downgraded" T7250/T7300, so does anyone know anything about OC'ing that chip using SetFSB and how much GHz could it be? -
Ultra thanks man!!!
Audigy, man u r the best!!
I'll try it on my T9300!!Rep+
-
hmm im actually getting freezing at 3ghz for my t9300, are all chips different?
-
HaloGod you are correct, all chips are different, some can achieve higher FSB than others.
-
ok, i think its my ram holding me back, because the notebook ram is 4-4-4-12, therefore wont clock as high as the normal cl5 ram
-
ok i put my cl5 ram in and 3.0 ghz is now stable
-
-
umm...As Audigy said, you can OC the X9000 via the BIOS...You can change the multiplier to give it up to a 400MHz speed boost without touching the fsb. You are however correct in that they do not support FSB overclocking
-
I´ve been diging around this matter at quite some time now, and I think I´ve found the problem on M570RU when OCing the CPU and GPU at the same time.
The PCI-E has a base frequency of 100MHz, this is fed into a clock multiplier which increases the frequency by an effective 25x using one (or possibly 2) PLLs. For example if the base clock is increased to 120MHz the differential signaling rate is now 3GB\s. The line coding used (8B/10B) should allow for clock recovery. Due to the limiting factors such as line capacitance and slew rate, the only way to increase the maximum PCI-E frequency is to increase the voltage output of the driver IC’s, even then the de-serialiser at the other end may be/still be the limiting factor.
So the problem of M570RU is on it´s IC driver. If there was one way to increase the output voltage... maybe via hard mod... I need to dig more on this...
-
What is the IC ?
-
Integrated Circuit!
Its a small chip with many pins and is in itself a small cpu!! -
Oooooh, I though he meant some weird part like Infrared Component or something
-
The problem here is that voltage is insufficient for that the wave switchings can occur, leading to an instable system.
-
Okay, so does anybody know what clock generator to use for my system? I've tried some Googling around but no success so far. How would I determine it?
-
I didn't know they had allowed it on the M570RU. Thank you for the heads up -
-
Nice worK Aud, but im still having issues with the autotool at startup? Do I have to have SetFSB and Autotool placed in c: drive, not in program files?
-
In the guide somewhere in the middle it states how to find your specific CG. -
I think is a good news for all ,or not?? -
And what`s your 3dmark score at those settings?
>>> SetFSB Auto Tool v1.0 <<< - OC your CPU automatically -
