Nope, but Brother @Meaker@Sager has an excellent one that most are using. Not sure of the link.

Also...to achieve optimal fitting you will need to test fit it outside of the machine with one card. (Personal opinion only)

Ok let me see here, I make a cleaner version if possible.

@Johnksss@iBUYPOWER - so when testing contact, take VC out and check with 1 card put on top if everything contacts nicely?

Need to screw in gpu? Or just plop it on top?

How about the CPU hsf -> VC contact and CPU hsf vrm?

Yes basically you want it to sit perfectly before pressure is applied as then that pressure is real contact pressure.

Seeing some of the thermal pad is to contact GPU choke, I recommend to remove entirely the thermal pad and replace with K5 Pro or just a goop of ICD.

I will make a version of GPU-down view.

Yep, that's the layout I have. No need to use paste if the pad is correct as the reduced thickness already improves cooling.

Weirdly enough both my VC Heat sinks don't sit flush. And that is after using @Meaker@Sager 's pad thicknesses.
I'm going to take the whole thing apart again this weekend and find the absolute minimum thickness needed.

Also I think @TBoneSan was talking about using a shim for the processor.

It's probably raised on the left side. So Concave?
The contact for the left GPUs components is pretty miserable. While the other GPU is pretty much perfect.
When I place the heatsink on the right screw that hold the heatsink down on the right sits flush, where as the one on the left (next to the battery) is up in the air by about half a centimeter even after putting a significant amount of pressure on it.

Not really an excuse for a system that costs this much money.
Either ways I'm pretty much done with Clevo. Have had enough of their shoddy heatsinks and QC.

Weird. I have a third heat sink coming in on Saturday hopefully. Going to check how well that one works.
But as far as the 7700k is concerned the IHS doesn't does my CPU heatsink sink. The 6700k however makes perfect contact.
And that is after changing the thermal pads to 1/.5mm from 2/1mm.

Unless Clevo show improvement in Heatsink QC and a Fan Control software worth a damn to fix their dumb slow fan reaction times, this may also be my last too. Which sucks because they've just about built the perfect machine.

That's not an option unless I can find a machine
    1) under $1000
    2) has 120hz refresh

Because I simply won't part with money beyond that for a disposable laptop.

Right on. If I got a BGA "gaming" turdbook given to me for free as a gift, I would sell it to someone that doesn't know any better and use the money for something worth spending my money on... or, just use the money to pay bills or something else.

Hansung confirmed order and take my system to "build" status.

I forgot who, but if you filled out the Clevo silence fan mod google forms, DM me with your fan of choice and pair number.

I hope a beautiful K-pop beauty in hansung factory is handling my KM1!

I know this has already been mentioned, but I went through pages of posts and couldn't find it.

Where is a good place to get the copper shims and heat pads for the P775DM3, and what sizes would I need to get?
    I'm based in the UK.

    Thanks in advance

Yes, that is specifically for the CPU on the shim. Probably don't need to use a shim on the GPU, but you will have more than one in case you want to try it.

    Pads:

    Thanks for the links.
Are those thermal pads suitable to replace the ones already on heatsinks as I want to replace all of the pads with better ones if possible? (I already de-lidded and LM'd the CPU and GPU but I want to replace all the other pads with better ones)
If so then I just need to find somewhere over here to get them from

If you're shimming the GPU, you likely want 20x20. I recommend getting an assortment of thicknesses including at least 0.3mm and 0.5mm as well as some 400/1000/2000 sandpaper packs, since you don't know how wide the gap is between your heat sink and the die. With GPUs, it's critical that you don't have overly thick shims because that can very easily cost you contact for the thermal pads on the other components.

The GPU isn't the issue, it's the 7700K CPU being slightly lower that I need the shim for, so whilst I was doing that I thought I would replace the thick thermal pads with better ones. The main GPU contact is not an issue

I brought it up since people were mentioning shimming the GPU with the same thing. 30x30 is the perfect size to match the IHS, and I recommend getting 0.5 and 0.8mm shims plus sandpaper if you're not sure how thick the gap is. If you're not using LM between the IHS and heat sink, I suggest doing that at the very least for the shim-heatsink contact.
