    I'm going to have to get one of those. Been wanting one for a long time and always forget about it when I have a few extra bucks available. I need one in my dust magnet office really bad. Would certainly be much better than going back and forth to the garage to fill my refillable canister with the air compressor 3 or 4 times. That works, but the capacity is very low. It's nice using it filled with alcohol for cleaning, but it only has about 8 to 10 seconds of compressed air blowing time.

    Yeah, you're probably right. I bet it would work well for that purpose. Certainly appears to be geared toward that.

    im using server 2012 lol. migration is a pain in the butt and i cant seem to get bluetooth to work, might be the end of the line for me and start trying different wificard or dongles. i already gave up on clevo hotkeys they just wont run on server windows, im dual booting so it worked in windows 8 but the lighting profile not sticking. each time i restart my system it reverts to rainbow color rather than the all white keyboard, no lit back lid profile i've set.

    @Johnksss have you tried the CCC getting backlit to stick?

    The @Prema BIOS/EC mod should have the keyboard and lid all white LED with no breathing pattern on the lid. Maybe he hasn't done that part yet.

    Yes, but I delete the first profile and that automatically give me all white. After a warm start, it will keep your settings, but after a cold start the EC is first and then once in windows your colors take over.
    Not done yet on the TM1

    @ole!!!

    You just need to get the driver hardware id and then go from there. It might be like a lenovo or dell or something that uses the same driver as 2012 server....Just have to keep doing trial and error.

    for the backlit, because server 2012 can't get the software to run maybe thats why once a cold start it stayed with it's default color i donno have to do more testing and delete profile 1 like you mentioned.

    for the driver, once i got hardware ID which i do have, do i proceed to mod the inf?

    This doesn't belong here buddy! Reply is in the beta group.
    Only use BIOS to change the settings, not XTU or TS, then it works.

    thats a cool idea and certainly would work making it replaceable however there are still major concern with this.

    1. low quality remains :(
    2. this isnt intended for OEM so heatsink will need modding unless the extra height for board is like 2mm and wont affect cooling.
    3. BGA chip purchase is probably a lot harder to find than LGA.

    whoever did that, definitely give them the credit for doing that work cause intel suck, though maybe wasted effort. they need to do that for HK cpu!

    LOL nice

    i posted my 2 cent but looks like that crappy forum wont allow new users to post screenshot or any links related in the comment, even if the links are imgur etc.

    24/7 4.9ghz clock this also includes avx/avx2 workload. 5ghz with avx simply too hot to my liking over 83C!!. gotta stay under 80C whenever possible. now not gonna cherry pick, the fan is maxed at 80% in the screenshot below cause CCC sucks, if i let fan go on auto it will hit 80/81C when gaming, but sooo quiet.

    "From mentioned review.... "Furthermore, the real-time readings from the AC adapter do not appear to be very accurate and they would often underestimate actual results. When running Witcher 3, for example, our independent readings with Metrahit are steady at about 458 W while the adapter would occasionally record 326 W with jumps to the 400+ W range. We're unsure what is going on here, but we suggest that users double-check with their own independent instruments if accurate power consumption is of concern."

    @Mr. Fox @Johnksss Have you seen similar when you tested up against your UPS? A Kill-A-Watt is more accurate than this.

    Not me who tested (and I don't have the 780w psu). But all can see 326 W with 2x 175w graphics + Cpu and the rest need a lot more than this. I don't know what is NBC's test procedure. But they can't be totally stupid.

    Maybe they use something like this. Who know :rolleyes:

    I can't see how much they can screw up this :D The wattage jump up and down as they say for the 780W display. And their own measure monitoring show about constant watt. 326w shouldn't be showed at all. 326w is more like a Turd on steroids :p

    GV100-400-A1 is a desktop chip label. NVIDIA uses a different naming system that start with Nxx for laptops.....

    Shouldnt this be N18 something?

    In fact, if you look at this video,

    The thermal paste lay out is the exact same as the die shown on that picture. What a coincidence?

    Funny enough, the die is produced in the same week, 34th of 2017 as that TITAN V, with the same serials. How interesting....
    Hmm, are you kidding with us @Prema ?

    Edit: Also, a very similar VRM design as the TITAN V which is a massive overkill even for a desktop card that cost very valuable PCB real estate on mobile?

    The mounting screws seems to be too close to the die?

    It's amazing how 'little' it takes to bring the life back into this thread in no time. :D

    Yeah, NVIDIA even prevented Clevo from putting a 1080TI core on an MXM board, so I wouldn't wait for a Titan V either. :)

    @Johnksss
    I bought that electric duster you mentioned 1 day shipping. It should arrive today. I hope you did not steer me wrong. That thing cost $75.
