Adaptive core voltage set to a negative value, just like any haswell under volt.

Haha, I suppose I made the same move when going mobile, though I did briefly have a 4600M AMD chip.

Before that I had a 1045T @ 4ghz on all 6 cores, but good luck cooling that in a notebook.

What is the function to turn the fans on high? I remember reading somewhere that using it can sometimes get the fan's to spin down when they are on full blast when they prolly don't need to be.

Here is the main page, where you can download the open source software. Haven't tried but it seems legit.

You should be able to generate a macro and then throw it in the start-up folder

    AutoHotkey

hello guys. I'm about purchase Mysn(UK) P503/P157SM notebook. I have a question about memory. Is it possible to use 1.5v 1600Mhz Kingston HyperX Ram modules?

I don't see why not as long as its notebook memory.

I always thought that 1.65V was the max with Intel iseries so you should be fine

Haswell mobile will only deliver 1.35v so you would be rolling the dice on if the modules will work.

Is there a guide to overclocking the i7 4700mq? I currently have it overclocked by 100Mhz all cores through Xtreme Tuning Utility with +10mv overvolt. Is that ok? It hasn't crashed yet and temp doesn't get too bad.

Every chip is different, but most people run +200mhz with a -50 -> -100mv undervolt.

wow, so stock voltage should be more than enough for +200mhz OC then. I'll try it out and see if it will be stable for me.

@ Meaker. 180W PSU is enough for VGA OC? I'm bit worried about the capacity. I have spare DELL 240W adapter.

I'm sorry but if lowering the clocks helped there could.be damage to the card :(

No guarantees on the public and over clocking. A small oc on the gpu OR cpu is fine.

I'd also like to know this, has anybody actually bought it yet? Since I'd also have to buy the adapter it'd be quite a waste if it wouldn't work.

What is the normal score for a p157sm with i7 4700mq and 780m in 3dmark firestrike run? I get ~5100 graphics score and ~9000 physics score.

If don't put lower setting the drivers of the amd keep crashing ; /

    core clock 900 --> 800 Mhz

    memory clock 1250 --> 1148 Mhz

do you think that i will have problems if i keep using this slightly undercore configuration?

    Hello together,

I am also an owner of the P150Sm since early december. At the beginning i had some issues with the fan controller, which decided to run my fans when gaming suddenly at 100% und they didn't stop even I closed my 3D application which runned on my dedicated GPU. Now, the problem does occure, when I am playing CS:GO, Need for Speed World and Crysis 2 (as some examples, the temperatures are good and way below 90°C: GPU/GPU ~70°C). The only way to stop the fan was: StandBy and wake up.
I thought, maybe there are some conflicts between the latest EC and my older BIOS Version. So today I flashed latest EC and BIOS but it didn't solve the problem.

Maybe you have some ideas how to fix this fan issue.
    Thank you :)

    PS: What didn't work:
    - Starting Hardwaremonitor
    - Starting NVinspector
    - Pressing FN+1 (everything more then one time)

    Good to know:
I had no problems while playing World of Tanks for more than three hours.

Loop, try the Prema BIOS mod. Do a search for it. I think this now includes the vbios for the gpu as well. These allow you to over clock or under clock, but try as is first.

    Hi LoopNBj,
Hi have the same problem, i have made some tests, and it seems to be triggered when CPU (or GPU , i think, but not sure because it never exceed 68°C) , goes past 75°C (max core ) for a "long" time ( about 20 sec ).
I have made some undervolting, it's better, but i'am considering buying a copper heatsink for my CPU

Thank you for your quick replys.

Right now in this situation i am not considering at this stage to use Premas Mods, because I will get in contact with my reseller asap regarding that issue.
The temperature threshold seems possible, but I have the problem, that my fans won't stop spinning (on 100%) even after an extended time. In my opinion it doesn´t make sense to me, that the fan ramps imideately up from stage 2 to 4 (like FN+1). In idle my GPU fan should stop after closing my apps, as you know.

I will see, what my reseller will tell me, but im open for other suggestions :).

HWMonitor is one of the most popular.

You use msconfig to manage the start up programs, thats already built into Windows.

Is it just me or everytime I shut down or restart it doesn't show the F2 or F7, instead it shows "Resuming from Hibernation"?
It's really sucky because I have to FORCE shut down everytime I want those 2 options to appear..

You can change the settings so that the power button on your keyboard will force shutdown instead of going to hibernation. Just go to control panel, system and security, power options. You'll see a "choose what the power buttons do" option.

It's a mix of 0.5mm, 1mm and 1.5mm (ram, inductors and vrms respectively.

    Hi !
Just a quick question, are the keyboard leds RGB or just of the different colors ? Because I was wondering why isn't there any software allowing to choose the colors from RGB values.

Just placed an order for a Sager NP8265-S from Xotic :
    -i7-4700MQ
    -GTX 780M
    -250GB Samsung 840 EVO mSATA
    -Win 8.1 Pro
    -had branding removed

Looking forward to posting my thoughts once I receive it and run it through its paces. Wondering what the turnaround time will be for Xotic. Hoping for next week. I'll be sure to post back then.

    Congrats!!
Order processing is usually done within 24hrs then it will be built at Sager. They have been taking 6-10 business day to do the build then it will ship directly to you. We'll be in touch if there are any questions about there. Looking forward to your thoughts about it once you get it
