Possibly had the same issue I had with it going to someone who does not know what they are doing and wanting to return it.

I have a strange error that I have encountered with my Sager NP9370 from XoticPC. I have tried to research it, but I have had no luck. Every time I start my computer and I start pressing on the keys (most notably the left shift and control) it will emit a loud beeping sound from the speakers. They keys function just fine, and it is random how long the keys will continue to cause my computer to beep. Sometimes its 3 key strokes and 3 loud annoying beeps, or sometimes its 12 key strokes and just as many beeps. I figured it must be something with the sound card, but I don't know why the keys would be triggering this and why it only takes place after start up. After the undetermined number of beeps occur for however many key strokes it stops and functions like normal.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks.

That is very odd. Just to see if its something else try turning it on and not pressing anything for a couple of minutes to see it if beeps anyway. Then press some keys and see if it does it right then.

Do anyone know a trick to setup this laptop with 3 monitors in Eyefinity with AMD? I have two 24inch monitors and have the laptop between them, except i haven't gotten anything near them all working other then in extended mode. I know the 7970 can support up to 6 displays...so im running the following. I'm having so much trouble and headache ill pay for a fix.

    DisplayPort > external monitor
    Laptop >Internal
    DVI > external monitor

Hello guys, if I buy an extra ac adapter, will the power converter used for np9570(dual ac adapter) work on NP9370 too? Thanks!

Yes, though it's only needed if you are going to do some serious overclocking.

yeah, sadly it doesn't seem to matter how long my laptop has been on. It will always make those beeping sounds. I can't find anything, anywhere regarding this issue. But, it has been happening since the start of me buying my laptop from XoticPC and is still happening. But, like I said it will only happen after start up and each time I press on the keys it will beep for...however many times and then stop.

If comfortable doing so you're welcome to remove the keyboard and put it back in, sometimes just reseating something will fix it. If we can determine it to be the keyboard causing it many times we can just send you a replacement. Would just need to talk to our service reps to help diagnose that. If you want you can find our 24hr tech support phone number on our site under the "contact" section.

    Hi guys,
I have a few questions regarding my new Sager NP9370 / Clevo P370EM-3D:

    1. My GPU (680M SLI) run pretty hot at stock, about 85-90C while playing Battlefield 3 with default fan setting. Are those temps considered safe? I did re-paste CPU & GPUs with Arctic MX-2 though.
    2. Turning on max fan speed (Fn+1) helps lower the temps by 6-7C but does it affect the fans' longevity?
    3. Is there a bios that allows you to manually adjust fan speed?
    4. My Sager NP9370 occasionally freezes especially after long gaming sessions. What could possibly be the cause here?
    5. Is 3D mode available for youtube videos or just 3D gaming and bluray movies?

    Thanks all in advance.

    Ahoy!
im having a wee issue with my 9370 not wanting to boot up.
I've had it 6 months with almost no issues apart from the aforementioned driver issues, but I went to boot it up after a 6 day hiatus and the power light went on for a few seconds then went off. I figured the battery was super flat as i had previously used it without leads, so plugged the leads in and it booted up fine and ran for a couple minutes whilst I booted up chrome. Then the screen froze so I held power down to force shut down. Now it continuously tries to boot up then turn off over and over.

Ive filled in an rma form but since its the weekend I won't get a reply for a million years. Anybody got a suggestion in the meantime?

    love it otherwise btw...

I'm having a bit of an odd issue with my P370EM that's been bothering me but hasn't been enough of an issue to fix. I have dual GTX 680Ms in sli, games on the internal monitor are fine. For some reason when I hook up an external monitor I get interesting issues, the main one that bugs me is in games (particularly source engine stuff like TF2) when I alt-tab and alt-tab back (16GB of RAM so that doesn't crash the game) I can get white single pixel lines across the screen. Kinda hard to describe, it's as if say 1/3rd of that particular row of pixels is being put on top of the other 2/3rds of that row, but then this is intermittent so it'll happen maybe every 1-4 frames. This same effect can happen in windows (particularly at the very top and very bottom of the monitor).

This seems to happen on both displayport and hdmi outputs, the HDMI output interestingly can't even push a proper 2560x1440 signal to my monitor (it keeps dropping out for a few frames every few minutes) though I've tested the monitor using HDMI with my other laptop and a mate's laptop, same test, load up TF2 and alt-tab a few tens of times, absolutely no issues and that resolution can be pushed just fine so monitor is known good. I've tried driver upgrades and driver downgrades, it doesn't seem to have made a difference. I haven't done a clean driver install so that's a possibility.

TL;DR External monitors have weird issues running off my P370EM, advice? Considering sending back the GPUs under warranty.

*edit* I'll take a picture when it next happens, doesn't show up in screenshots but does in literal pictures of the screen. Tried automated tests for GPU faults, found nothing.

Have you tried hooking the monitor up to something else to make sure it is not at fault? I've not heard of any output issues.

Yup, tried hooking the monitor up via HDMI to my W110ER and a mate's W230ST, both are absolutely fine under the same tests, and both will manage to push the full resolution over HDMI with no dropouts, unlike my P370EM which will both dropout and have this..... not sure what to call it, display errors I guess. At least the warranty's still good for another year and a half so I've got time for tests.

You could try swapping the cards over to see if the other GPU is happy outputting the image.

    IC Diamond... best stuff ever.

    PC Best Temp.jpg

Anywho, as for what I came here for, anybody ever have an issue wherein the GPU will randomly NOT allow 120Hz to be set? Occasionally mine will drop to 60Hz, and the laptop has to be restarted. It happens pretty infrequently, I was just curious as to whether or not anyone else had the issue.

    Hello everyone!
I have the 370em for about 10 months now...
the only issue i can complaint is the keyboard!!! as the time goes by, the keyboard is getting worst and worst... i almost have to puch some keys for them to receive the input...

    Anyone else experienced same issue?

there is also another situation, I bought the computer in Portugl, but i'm now living in London, so I was also trying to see if there is any place i can take the laptop to be fixed... does anyone know of such place?
anyone from UK have tried to change keyboard for another one such as the steelseries?

    Cheers

You can use the steelseries if you shave off some metal around where it does not quite fit.

    hello everyone .
I have Sager NP9370 as well. I normally have crossfire 7970m, However I have been having issues with my video cards 1 by 1. I had initially sent my first card to get it repaired. Before it even get repaired second one is broken down. I thought I have issues with my bios (over-voltage or something) So I tried to change my bios use a Perma's BIOS. But I would like to go back to using my default bios. Can anyone send me default last version bios for NP9370. The thing is I don't have enough knowledge about bios, but I can say that I will be using only 1 7970m card for at least 1 mount, Than after I get my second card, I will enable again crossfire.

The Bios i am looking for is (I guess) Bios 1.02.08LS1

If anyone has this bios can you use AFUWINx64, and give me a copy of it!

If you have any thoughts about the possible reasons why my video cards keep failing, I am willing to hear them, and fix them if its possible.
    Thank you in advance

    It's on his website:

STOCK BIOS & EC | Prema Mod

    Or the bios thread here.

You should always be making a backup of your bios before flashing anyway, always helps :)

I am using GTX 680 and when I'm running games in SLI there is this clicking sound in every frame per second. It has been since I bought this laptop.
Anyone have a solution for sound interference caused by SLI mode?

    Question,

I purchased the NP9370 a bit ago and have not had a single issue with it. That being said I am debating on looking into upgrading to a second GPU but I am wondering if the next generation of cards are supported. I contacted Sager and asked about next gen cards but got an e-mail simply telling me of 600 / 7970 series cards. I'm wondering with the MXM3.0B slot and 300 Watt power supply is there a technical reason why the newer 700 series GPU's aren't supported? If they *will* be supported in the future pending drivers etc then I may hold off, otherwise I am being quoted around 430 for a second 7970M + Xfire cable from Sager directly.

It's the same story as the other systems in this generation of machines. The current gen of cards are not currently supported on the previous gen systems. I don't believe I've read a single account of someone overcoming this and managing to do a functioning install. It's always possible that this is reversed in the future, but only time will tell and as of now not looking like it will happen.

    Hi there,

I've recently bought a p370em model which came with a drivers installation cd for windows 7 and 8. I am going to install a 64bit version of windows 7, however, the drivers on the cd seem to be kind of outdated. Is there a newer package somewhere on the net or do I have to look for newer drivers myself? And, while talking about drivers, can anyone recommend a nVidia driver in terms of SLI performance?

    Thanks in advance!

If its a Sager they will post any updated drivers directly on their site. Often times you'll find they are a little dated but with Drivers they wont need to update them if there arent any issues. All the ones on there should work for you, and the few newer ones you can download and install those. For the video card drivers you can check Nvidias site and get the newest ones they've posted.

Yes, for the chipset drivers you want intel.com, Nvidia for the GPU, otherwise it's not too important the rest are totally up to date unless you have an issue with something in particular.

Thanks! I bought the laptop directly from clevo so I don't quite know where to get them. I'll just go with the latest forceware drivers then? Speaking of the chipset drivers I'm not quite sure which one to choose, I downloaded "Intel Chipset Device Software". Is this correct? Thanks in advance and sorry for the hassle ;)

edit: I've now managed to set it up properly and am very satisfied for now! There is one thin though I'm a bit worried of: Has anyone got flexing problems with this notebook? If I try to lift the Notebook on the right front, it will most likely shut off immediately. Is this a known problem?

Sorry for spamming, but I seem to have some more problems over here: I just ran 3dMark 2013 with these scores:

    ICE STORM: 141621
    CLOUD GATE: 21536
    FIRE STRIKE: 6527

    My System:
    Clevo P370EM
    i7 3920xm
    680m SLI (2x4GB)
    1x8GB Kingston (1600)

Looks a bit like disabled SLI for me..? All clocks are stock - I was able to play Battlefield 3 and 4 fluently though. Has anyone got an idea?

    Thanks in advance!

Those scores seem perfectly normal for your machine with the CPU @ base clock. The best recorded scores for my system are slightly higher across the board with the CPU overclocked using the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility.

    Ice Storm: 153872
    Cloud Gate: 22541
    Fire Strike: 6947

Remember, two 680M (mobile) cards in SLI are not even remotely comparable to two 680 (desktop) cards in SLI. For comparison, my desktop computer (3770K + GTX 670 x2 SLI) runs circles around my Sager laptop (i.e., 25-50% higher, depending on the specific benchmark).

Thanks for your comment. I just took a closer look at results of other notebooks (eg an 8970m crossfire system) and the results are quite similar. Seems that I just misread some charts! :)

Hi guys this is my first topic here!
I need your help since my P370EM has a problem: when I turn on the pc, it shuts down after 3 seconds... I changed the memory, From 1600 to 1866 kingstone, do you think that it could be a compatibility problem with the RAM? Or maybe my mobo or cpu is faulty?

    Congrats on your first post!
If the only change you did was the RAM and didnt have problems before that you can pretty much bet its the RAM. Take out the 1866 and put the 1600 back in to see if the problem goes away.

If it worked fine with the old RAM then you put new RAM in and the computer doesnt work that would be my first guess. It could be something else but it makes sense it was the RAM. Whats the specific RAM model number you put in.

I put the kingstone 1866.. the full model number: KHX1866C11S3P1K2/8G

I had that "flexing" problem too, and was also thinking for some time what it could be. Actually the solution is very easy: just lock your battery on the bottom, in my case the battery lock was turned off. Because of that, when you lift up your clevo the battery always "unpluggs" so the laptop has no power anymore. Also by locking the battery the laptop feels much stiffer.

Is there a tool or software which can adjust the fan throttle for our model?

I think the 3930xm was an option so it should work. Last I heard on the 780m is that we needed a custom books to make it work, but I haven't actively searched for that in a bit

Well there is the 3920xm or 3940xm. Either one will work just fine.

780M is currently a no go, either 7970M or 680M are the best so far.
