Try taking the 2nd card out and running it in the primary card position, if it works it may be an SLI cable issue.

Ok, I fixed my second GTX680m :D. I clean this card. form the dust. But I have a question , how I can install bios on the second card ?? Master card has 80.04.33.00.10Modified and the second 80.04.29.00.01. In the Firestrike I get 6381. I dont know how I should get on this both cards. I ha 3920XM in the system also so shuld be fast enough for this both cards.

Can anyone help me with a tutorial on how to open the upper case of the laptop? I want to find out whether my lvds cable is soldered onto the motherboard or not. If not, im planning to switch the connector to eDP.

The cable is never soldered that I have seen, even with the throw away machines from the likes of acer. Be aware that the eDP cable used is a 50pin type not compatible with the latest eDP screens.

I'm thinking about upgrading to Windows 10, but I would like to know if there are drivers for my 9370. Has Sager released a repository for the drivers?

I want to upgrade my current mSATA to an EVO 850 1TB mSATA but I want to make sure it's compatible with my Clevo. I currently have an M4-CT128M4SSD3 from crucial. I think the EVO 850 will work perfectly fine, but just to make sure before I buy it can anyone confirm please?

Sager probably will not release Win 10 drivers for older models, but you can try the NP9377 drivers if you need.

We generally don't have the drivers on our site, but they would have them on Sagers. Just search for the model number on this one.

    http://www.sagernotebook.com/drivers.php

Otherwise, you can get them from Clevo's site as well.

There aren't any drivers on Sager's or Clevo's site. I believe you should be able to use the 8 drivers, or possibly check the part manufacturer's sites to see if they have 10 (like checking Intel's site for a 10 driver on a wireless card for example).

As it's not officially supported by clevo/sager it may require a bit more leg work and testing like pat is suggesting.

We have heard good luck form most people updating older models. The only thing that I can recall is the touchpad doenst work great at first. Trying a few different options typically fixes that.

Yes, a 9.5mm drive will fit (and by extension, the smaller 7mm SSD will also fit).

owh, basicly this notebook can fit 2 x 9.5 mm Hard Drive both on SATA III ?

and if i want to put 7mm Hard drive i need spacer/extension so it can fit?

sorry for this question, i never open the bottom case and this will be the first time since the warranty is over.

One bracket supports both heights, the other rests on top of that, both fit and are SATA III, check your manual for further information :)

It is only compatible with 3rd gen processors. If you purchase new GPUs, then check to see if the heatsinks are included. I believe most resellers will included those in the kit when you buy one, but I would recommend checking with who is selling it to make sure it is all included.

Models are being phased out for the refresh, sager does not hold onto a lot of stock at this point for obvious reasons.

Be careful where you get your 980M SLI kit from. If you bought it from one of the sellers who support the upgrade then I'd buy the kit from them, and have them install it. Otherwise, you'll be stuck with non-working 980M SLI like I am.

What's the issue? You should be able to flash any bios you need by having an original card in the primary slot and 980m in the 2nd slot.

I have the correct bios update so my 980M SLI will work. I have both of the 980Ms installed. Can I still update the bios without one of the original 680M installed?

Thanks, but I have the correct bios update for my cards to work.

I don't think Prema has officially added 700M or 800M series support in his sBIOS for this yet.

I must have been tired, I read it as a 970M *doh*

Yes, with the 870M there are bios issues, the 970M or 680M are the two best options.

Just get a DAC/AMP, because sound quality sux on that. Lack of bass and SLI interference in some games drove me nuts. That was the best upgrade I have ever made. I bought Fiio e10k for sony MDR-1R

Hey guys, quick question, if i upgrade to a 970 or 980m will the stock heatsink be sufficient? i've heard something about fitting the 375s heatsink for better temps?

    thanks

Yes, they run pretty cool, the 980M will get a bit toasty but the SM heatsinks will make your CPU hotter.

So how does 980Ms in SLI run in this system? Will i7 3840QM be "bottle-necking?"

    How is nvidia driver compatibility?

How's the temperatures and is there any room for OC?

980M SLI should run very well.

I suggest you look up the latest SLI reviews for scaling as the picture changes over time.

Temperatures are ok but the 2nd card does get warm with the EM setup.

Should run fine.. You will need Prema mod vBIOS but not a problem.. Main thing is that 1 330W PSU won't allow much OCing so get a 2nd one + converter box...

3840QM will be fine but maybe next year, get a 3920XM/3940XM..

Hey guys new here. Iv come to get some advice, since i dont know what to do and im kinda confused, since this is my first time doing a upgrade/fix of this sort. I purchased my NP9370 ages ago from xotic pc and after 6/8months of having it the 7970 ATI card died. I know its the card because i did some initial testing, ram works, it boots up (black screen) with the hard drives loading and the fans kick in when it needs to cool down. Because the card died this laptop has collected dust for a long time. I decided to buy a new video card for it and got the 980m gtx, im not sure if i need to update the bios once the card is installed or install prema bios and if so, which bios do i install/update. I want to make sure i install the correct laptop bios to be on the safe side since there are so many.

Oh on a side note, I was told i wont need to flash the vbios on the card as they have installed it for my system.

Any help would be greatly appreciated =)

2T relates to the ram command rate, so unless you are running 4 sticks of high speed ram you don't need that then get the version depending on the screen of your notebook.

The system bios is a required update, the vbios is not.
