    Happy new year everyone.

    Please tell me.
Will the Quadro P5000 or P5200 and RTX5000 work with the P570WM?

    happy new year
all of them can run on p570wm (EDP ver)
It’s just that there is no good way to fix the RTX5000 on the motherboard, and the graphics chip shift needs to consider how to install the heat sink

The big thing is that it needs that eDP display to work. That's the 120hz panel.

You should post the settings you have already tried but do remember there is chip variation.

    Chip lottery and degradation.
When I changed to 4930k 4 years ago. I can easily @4,1 without changing voltage. 4,4 +0,125. All time using on @4,1. In last year tried to oc and need to add much more voltage than few years ago to get 4,2 to 4,4 and extremely hot. Also on @4,1 I add a little voltage 0,03V to get it stabile.
Still thinking to get 1680 V2. Is it worth?

    About cpu I will think.
Now got problem with no working microphone. Reinstall drivers, system, check port, microphone connections, cable, voltage is on port 3,3v. All is ok but not working. Speakers, audio connection working.
I don't think that 2 microphones suddenly died. Is it possibly that in audio chip died only part of microphone?

The array is likely a single piece? Could need replacing or the cable is pinched somewhere.

I taken out cable and microphones (two microphones are on one pcb and connector nothing more). Checked cable with multimeter resistance is ok, no short circuits.

Laptop most time is half meter from me in one position connected to monitor, keyboard etc. Few times in year I changing screen positon. Last time I used microphone about month ago and from this time screen was in same position.

    Hi @Meaker@Sager and @Prema and @Mr. Fox

well there are still some options but they are to Pricey.

One of my P570wm had a few bend CPU Socket Pins. It worked fine just one Ram Chanel was not working. I found one Repair Service on Ebay with good Reviews. But now after the Socket has been replaced my Laptop don’t Turns on and don’t charges.

Does the Socket Control things like Charging and prevent from Turning on the Laptop if socket is faulty ?

The other Broken one Starts but Freezes at Prema Boot logo only FN+1 Works. No Bios enter and no Reboot.

i had one Fet shorten and replaced it. But no Change could the Bios or EC Chip get Currupt if a fet Chip died ?

The only option I see is to replace the EC and Bios Chip. Does anybody know the correct names of the Chips ? Some Laptops have two EC Chips. Does the P570wm has just one EC ?

Please help me guys Two Laptops died within 2 Weeks :(

CPU socket do not control things like charging and prevent from turning on.
EC and bios must be reflashed. EC control that two things. Memory chip with bios is good access in this laptop.

Socket is literally pins for the CPU, so socket damage is like missing CPU pins.

If it's a really bad soldering you could have shorts below it but generally unlikely.

Does the charger turn off when you plug it in (ie detect a short?)

Thank you all for your advice.

@Meaker@Sager the Charger don’t turns off if plugged in The Laptop that don’t Charges and don’t turns on. So you too would suggest me to buy new Bios and EC Chips ? The repair Service offer x-ray too. What does a X-ray tell me ? Shortage of Parts ? Bad Socket Soldering ?

I just send my Laptop back to the Repair Service. The one that don’t Turns on and don’t Charges. He will check the Socket.

Does anybody know the Bios Chip and EC Chip Names ?

    Thanks again to you all.

    Hi Guys,

Need some help, if someone knows.
I'm a bit "dumb" so please go easy on me.
So I have an EUROCOM PANTHER 5D. It was stored away for quite a while.
Decided to take it out, clean it all, and because I have a 4960X and sli 980M parts to replace, decided also to take the SSD and have 3 Samsung 870 EVO 500GB installed.
So before putting the new CPU and GPUs, I wanted a clean install of windows 10. Laptop has now a 3960X and sli 680M.
    Issues:
    1) when booting the keyboard is on, but no input so I cannot enter BIOs to make the raid 0 setup I wish;
    2) when booting from an usb pen with windows 10, same: keyboard does not work... so cannot put account bla bla bla

    Any ideas?
As far as I can see, the keyboard is well plugged in... I am wondering... as the ssd are now 100% empty... is this an issue with drivers? Must it have a driver in?
I recall that with windows 7 (the one it had) before installing the system, there were a lot of DOS things happening putting drivers... but now it does not....

    Any help welcome!
    Thank you so much!

(must say I always loved this laptop, would like to have it back - now-a-day I use an Alienware Area 51M R2 and the promise of upgrade is 0 comparing to what this one was in his days!)

Just to let you know I found the cause: a cable near the one of the keyboard was badly connected... by me of course.
Solved, now keyboard is working apart from some keys on left and the number pad....
This happened before... was an EC issue if I recall correctly...

Noa, 1000000 dolar question, many drivers for Windows 10 64 bits do not pop in EUROCOM forum.
    :(
Does anyone have a link to a place where all most recent drivers exist?
    Cheers!

HI Meaker@Sager. Thank you for your reply.
Indeed these are the places I go.

Have two issues especially: the keyboard.
The hotkeys on functions keys do not work. So when pressing Fn+F11 for instance does not switch on/off the WIFI.
Plus keys AQZ1! \ | do not work and, on the number pad the 2 far right columns of keys work, the other two on the left do not.

The fingertip reader and the touch pad also.
Tried all possible drivers... none works.

Been searching for the latest Bios or EC to flash cannot find.
    Can you help me?

    Using windows 10 pro 64.

    Thanks!

PS: computer works fast as hell by the way, this is an amazing machine still!
    EUROCOM PANTHER 5D 3960X 32GB RAM SLI 680M
(as soon as I get all ok and working, I will be swapping for a 4960X with SLI 980M)

Well you see on DOS the KEYS that work are all but A and the first column of numpad, the second column the top ones work.
Before I installed the new SSDs all worked fine. I do recall I had exactly this before and had to do an EC flash. EUROCOM support sent it in 2015....
So was wondering if for this new WINDOWs 10 64 and as we in 2021 now, there would be new BIOS and new EC versions...
Drivers for touchpad, fingertip, not to mention the killer driver (that uses flash) do not work at all... (here I am qaiting for a new one...)...

I am writing support, will not mind paying something for this.
Will let you guys know what they say!
    :)

    Thanks!

    Hi,
But did you update an existing OS, or a fresh install?
What BIOs and EC you have and what drivers for touchpad and fingertipreader?
    Thanks!
(Laptop is working fine apart from the issues I wrote)

I have been googling all over to see those BIOS. Seems I am really in archeology mode...
Today I did put in the 4960X. All went well for a couple of minutes, then BSOD. All time. Stays ok for a while, Windows 10 Pro 64.
I guess the BIOS and EC need revamp.
When I bought this, there was no 4960X, the 3970X was the top.
The 980M SLI work fine. No 3D though. But I do not use it.
Really looking for someone that could have those BIOS or ECs around...

Have you tried increasing CPU voltage? Could require a bit more voltage to remain stable.

Indeed! Still is an amazing laptop for me.
    Love it!
The 3970X and the 680M SLI are back, all works fine.
Will continue to dig for the BIOS or EC that can support the 4960X and the 980M SLI.

It should run fine at stock, even a later stock BIOS would be fine with it, not many 3xxx were released as such due to the release date. I ran with a 4930k.
