    Forgot to say.
I reinstalled it from scratch on a new partition and it worked!
Now, I am trying to avoid reinstalling everything from scratch...

I may try a re-install now as it is not a hardware issue.

Best of luck, if you do install again, take an image of everything ready to go as a good go back point.

    Thank you!

All the important files are already backed up 3 times (dropbox+google drive+physical copies), but it would take a lot to recover and reinstall all the work software and I need to finish one last project (by the end of this month).
I will do a clean installation when it is done.

Now, I am trying to do a reinstall keeping all apps and personal files.
Let's see if it works...

Could you please give additional information for diagnosis: usage% or spikes, ambient temp with or without cooler-pad, idle or in-game or while running specific software etc.

If you are running 1080p high fps with settings cranked up in demanding games with good cooling environment you don't want to see 90s. 80s is permissible. Gpu temps at 90s for repeated and longer durations can lead to stress or failure in time.

Upper 90s under normal circumstances in most cases can be explained due to bad heatsink placement or bad paste job.

Thx for reply. I have over 90° in most games. I'm afraid.

I'm thinking about repaste, but I'm not sure I can do it.

no video on youtube available for this device

I have a DELL Buissness laptop E6410, here I have successfully improved the cooling, with kyronaut paste. that was easy. But in this expensive Clevo laptop, I'm afraid without guidance.

    I think, too - 90° C to much temp.

    Thank you for your support

I use maximum graphic settings for games - i am happy with 40 FPS+ and GSYNC,
i have a cooling device under the laptop - does not help.

I have 90+ (max 91) degrees at normal outdoor temperatures.

I am good at windows 10 installations, software is not the problem. for sure.

I use FN+1 for full fan speed.

Best bet, is checking heatsink and thermal paste. Driver updates can also help but based on your laptop's symptoms its likely hardware issue. If your laptop still under warranty you can check with your vendor.

For thermal paste: Please search threads in forums for your model. For eg.
    https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?ur...share_tid=807868&share_fid=33462&share_type=t
OR you can use a similar model for reference such as p650hs. Im sure that model may have youtube videos showing how to open up and repaste. Honestly if you take your time, follow video, manage all the screws , its no biggie. And you should see big temperature change.

Constant 90c is closely associated with a hardware issue. Even undervolting not going to help unless you repaste/align heatsink proper. Any luck finding threads on the forum for your model to repaste? Is it under warranty? Also: the product brief (pdf may be available online or ask Sager) for your model will have information on exact screws within the laptop. You can use p650hs videos as a reference and open it up by checking the pdf.

May be other users can share any other helpful information that I havent discussed if they might have..

    Hello, thanks for the help.

    Unfortunately no guarantee.
I'm looking for the PDF regarding the screws.

I will renew the thermal grease.

I have up to 98 degrees C under Prime95 CPU temperatures
    and GPU 91 degrees C.

I temporarily use Throttlestop and disable the turbo.
I am a beginner regarding Throttlestop

I feel BF1 is highly unoptimized. All other games including witcher3 @1440p >100fps all settings cranked up do not exceed cpu/gpu temps of 80C. In BF1, for me it goes to 90C in 5min. That being the only game i felt its just unoptimized and not worth using on any benchmark. BF1 looks beautiful but nothing worthy to justify its stupid cpu/gpu usage. Ive seen better graphics and performance in other games. Inference is just based on my laptop and performance that I observed of course.

Lately ive been running beta2 of Insurgency Sandstorm. @1440p cpu/gpu usage remains continuous @95-100%. Insane, my temps shoot up to 85C under 1 min lol. Waiting for a performance update. Good thing is NWI devs are super awesome

Yeah. It shouldnt be 90C. I usually see >80C if usage continuously remains above the 80% mark but only in certain softwares.

Battlefield is very well multithreaded so it does load the gpu and CPU a lot but is more of a real load.

Does that mean multithreaded apps will increase usage drastically and increase temps? Or BF1 just has issues?

So if true, future games will lead to more cpu gpu usage and drive temps up? Not a good outlook.

Do you need to replace the thermal pad? Usually they only get replaced if they look tatty. That thermal paste will do fine.

I need some more help from you to try and resolve my issue with built-in display banding.
    I have a P650RS(-G) with a 4K display.
I noticed that i have a severe banding on gradients and gradients look awful.
    banding_6bpc.png
Then i checked my Output Color Depth and i can not set it more than 6bpc (should be at least 8bpc to have "normal" gradients and colors):
    6bpc.png

    What screens do you have?
Do you have the same issues?
    Any advice?

Are the drivers in this spreadsheet still the latest(like Control Center)
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...Qvn-spKxhSmMhqNiZWkcL0vBkw/edit#gid=377497278

I keep having an issue in Overwatch with not smooth game play. My first person view is smooth but all the other models jump around. Kinda hard to describe. I can play with 60fps or 150fps, same issue. Vsync on/off, same thing. Yet I can play other games with zero issues. The 1060 is more than enough power to run the game.

I doubt that. Apparently I'm leaning towards a ping above 50ms causes it. If I hardwire and drop to low 20s, its fine. Just odd..

Anyway, anyone know where I can get a replacement keyboard? My son decided to pull off some keys when I was away and my wife wasn't paying attention. Plus my blue LED option is extremely light colored compared to all the other colors.

Still sounds like a bug in the game if it can't handle a ping of 50ms.

Talk to your reseller about a keyboard, it should be an available part.

Hi there, I have the opportunity to buy a second hand P650RS-G with no warranty for a pretty good price but reading the last ~30 pages of the topic, it looks like there's a lot of problems with the gpu dying after a while ? what would you say is the fiability of this laptop overall ? thank you

Meaker: have you had many rmas from broken gpu? If gpu dies, must motherboard be replaced or is there possibilities to repair in some way?

No reports of high failure rates and yes the gpu is soldered on so would be replaced.

so guys i have a clevo p650 rp6-g for about 1.5 years, i always had trouble with realtek drivers but i managed to bypass those by removing them and using windows high definition audio drivers instead.
Now I want to solve this issue and have the realtek installed. the problems are: audio fading in after having like 5 secs of silence (yes, i disabled the energy management on realtek control panel and the windows audio optimizations) and having really noticeable static sound on headphones if windows audio is set up for more than 40%.
I have tried everything. Am i the only one with this laptop and these issues?
Any help would be really appreciated

I have the same issue with fading sound.
Was not able to find the solution for it.

I have a workaround - i am launching foobar (music player), starting to play some music, then pause it, then just keep foobar running in background - this way sound works OK.

Humm then starting a audio pipe fixes it... i think can add a easy fix for that in my Control Station software, a fix that plays a "silent" sound... lol

The "System" process starts using around 25% CPU the second I plug in an external monitor via HDMI. It never goes away despite several restarts. When I unplug the monitor and restart, the System process stops using so much of the CPU. Any idea how to fix this? I don't want my fans constantly going for no reason when I have a monitor plugged in.
