The MSI afterburner overlay will usually be picked up on records with GFE :)

Yes I had played around with that previously but does it truly bring your voltage down? The way the graph shows you could pull your clocks down from 1809MHz at 1000mV to 1809MHz at 1200mV. But the graph still shows up to 1200mV of voltage. So it is only truly for adjusting clocks and not voltage?

It's a bit crude but you lock to a lower voltage and raise the clocks at that voltage to what you want.

Ive undervolted to 950mv at 1860mhz.
Its been a few weeks and ive had no issues. Yes. I noticed an improvement in temps but i dont have recorded temps to be specific

It's sort of but not quite the same as a global undervolt.

Any performance difference between the 2 RAM slots under the keyboard compared to the 2 slots located under the bottom panel?

I received my machine and will be installing 2x16 memory sticks.

i see u have Gskill 3000mhz. Install them in the 2 slots under the bottom panel otherwise u will have problems when u change the XMP profile to get the advertised speed (my experience)

Absolutely, it of course costs more for the parts as it also requires a different CPU heatsink as well. I spoke with @Ted@HIDevolution and he got me squared away on my single 1080 with vapor chamber!

The Vapour Chamber with a single 1080 allows for ridiculously low temps. I was playing Project Cars before with the GPU at 89% usage and temps hovering around the low 60's.
I wish the CPU had that kind of cooling.

Did not know that, wish I would have bought it with the vapor chamber. Do they use spacers or something to hold up the vapor chamber for the slave GPU that does not exist.

I totally agree!! I don't know what the temps would be like with the "normal" DM2 heatsink, but I'm getting great temps as well. I also have IC Diamond on my GPUs applied by HIDevolution which also probably helps over factory paste job

No, the Heatsink has so many mounting points it doesn't need it. It's a very rigid unit, especially once it's mounted to the chassis.

Don't forget you need the vapor chamber heat sink as well as the CPU heat sink, I believe it's different from the normal DM2 one. I think for the vapor chamber it's $175, and the CPU one is $50... IIRC

@Phoenix I also try to undervolt the CPU -80mV, the temp of CPU is a little bit better, but don't know why the GPU is hotter than before :(

    1) How did you undervolt the CPU? If you did it through the Clevo Control Center, then it only applies the undervolt to the CPU and not the cache ratio so if you use Throttle Stop you can undervolt both together and see those temps drop down drastically

    2) What is the power management setting under 3D Settings in the NVCPL?

do you want me to help you over TeamViewer setup throttle stop so we can undervolt your cache ratio as well and get those temps lower?

Your power management for the GPU is fine.

Attached is why I believe my automatic fan profile is not working. This is with a -129mV offset in the program. This first pic is in automatic mode and the second pic is in overclock mode. Tell me what you all think.

Assuming any of you all have tested with Aida64.

I guess I'm not really sure how to upload pictures properly or if you all can see them both.

There is definately something wrong with automatioc profile. In automatic mode, while playing Rise of tomb raider, I have noticed that even though the average CPU temps remain normal (in 70s), i get random spikes (although very rare) of 90s. I dont have this problem in overclock mode.

Well if you look at the difference between the two. The biggest difference in temps is between the GPU at 68C in overclock mode and maxing at 91C in automatic mode. Definitely should be adjusting to account for those tempeartures. Even at 91 the fans never ramp up. We will see if updating firmware helps.

The GPU remains in high 60s/low 70s, its the CPU temp that peaks.

Well guys, my Sager P870DM3 is on its way back to Sager HQ. I will talk to Donald (I know you're reading this) soon about ordering the P870DM3 from HIDevolution. I will likely complete my order with HIDevolution when my refund is issued from my current reseller (I want to make sure nothing else happens). I am a bit wary of all resellers now, to be honest, and HIDevolution is going to have an uphill battle with me (I apologize in advance).

Without having my P870DM3 around, I was able to wash and wax two of my cars. Today was unusually warm (about 65 degrees) for this time of year. I'll keep you guys posted.

I could have told you it was G-Sync enabled, bro. I was using it in certain games (made no different because the P870DM3 with SLI eats everything you throw at it). However, in the future when developers start taking full advantages of our GPU's, G-Sync will come in handy.

When you get your P870DM3 in, make sure you calibrate the panel or get someone to do it for you. That's when the panel comes alive! I was iffy on it initially, but I fell in love with the panel when I finally took the time to calibrate it.

I have a Spyder5Pro and I'll share my profile with you and everyone here who has this screen. I read on a review of this panel that it is begging for color calibration as the colors aren't very accurate. Easy fix with my Spyder5Pro that shouldn't take more than 5 mins :D

I honestly don't even really notice it most of the time unless I am just looking for it. The only time I will notice it briefly is when moving from the Predator X34 to the laptop screen. I tested a 1080p screen this weekend and, I would still choose the 1440p over either 1080p or 4k.

If you sitting at normal range, you won't notice it. It grew on me and like @GTVEVO said, you have to look for it. If you're playing a game, watching a movie or doing anything that doesn't have large static colors, you will never know it was there unless you were told and your face is six inches or less to the screen.

Just wait until you see how fast it is. No ghosting, shuddering and etc.
