6 k jump in graphics score!! WTF!!!!???

This is also a stock run with less throttle: http://www.3dmark.com/fs/9788207
See what I meant when I said that cards carrying the same name will see a huge difference just depending on 'how Throttle 3.0 feels today'... -
Its in fact the same notebook
. I bought exactly this unit from CEG. Before they sent it out they made some own tests. I might add that my driver settings are not optimized for benchmarking, maybe thats the reason for the different scores.

STAPH PLZ STAPH.
On a serious note, do you think with the whole vBIOS being encrypted BS, you will be able to work out a mod ? -
Are you talking desktop cards?
Oh I forgot, desktop and mobile are the same now

Either card, basically he meant, that the Graphics score is low for 2 x 1080's.
The one Prema posted has the graphics score @ 40k+ -
I do not think that 6700K is a hit or miss!! Badly executed paste job, a not so good heatsink or maybe the first batch of 6700K chips was not top class at the first delivery by Intel. These expencive SL chips for use in laptops is more a waste of money. Perhaps a good choice for your desktop if you want OC heavy with other than air, but not for laptops. But thats me
But I would of course tried one in my system, if I don't needed to pay

Depending on temps heat can flow the other way but I know what you mean.
The vapor chamber will even out temperatures yes. -
I have not forgotten Dell's massive crippling of fan profile and slow fans in latest NORMAL AW laptops. And Dell engineers would not create a manual fan control either to fix the MESS. Thanks god we could use HWINFO... If not, would these AW machines only be used for email / web browsing!!

maybe these fans can be used? i ve heard gt72 is very quite.

Do they have to be 12v anyway?
The fans are abysmal on this machine, a replacement will be necessary.

I removed everything
. This images below is my fans.
6 months without cleaning. Almost NO dust... I use self-made filter for my mod U3. And Temp is good

imo I'd rather have loud fans, than quite fans that limit performance. I've been running 40db on my alcohol cooled desktop for over 2 years, so I'm quite acclimated to the sounds.

oh, bad news for me. zm models were the best. dm fans were noiser and now this... ADDA fan brand is a no go it seemsLast edited: Aug 19, 2016 -
Turn off G-sync, change resolution to 1920x1080, and make sure your Nvidia 3d settings are correct - disable DSR => 1:1, no vsync, disable any other frame rate limiters.
-
I disagree. I feel the zm fans are too weak... Give me a bit more noise and more blowing power!!!

if it was'nt for 4790k... my p771zm was holding 65-68C on the 980m stock with very little noise.
btw, noise is not always means "power". it's just that ADDA makes really bad fans from my experience -
I get that. But I also would prefer to feel more blowing out of the back when on max fans and would readily sacrifice more noise to accomplish a higher cfm with more static pressure! I have similar 980m temps and the same machine (p770zm).

Yes, I'm kind of curious at this point! Something to do while I wait for my Sager NP9873
Ah man, but I thought we were buddies/pals/Homies/friends/comrades....Bro's....
Ah, that makes sense. I was thinking about the ones from the P870DMG.
It will all makes sense soon.
I'll have to hold on fixing it because If I beat just one 6700k.... (Not mine of course) I win! Let me go find a noob with no over clocking skills what so ever and use that as an example. -
Was that meeting with JJ?
-
Would need more of a clue than JJ
-
Lmfao! That is cheating! At least take on a moderate 6700k OC, not a noob! If you go into a freezer, I'm sure you could get that done...

I'm already knowing. And when they had talked about Microsoft being there, I said I know someone who would really like to talk to them.
Oh no, Did not meet with that person. That is actually the first time I heard of him actually. -
