Thanks for that program! However, there is nothing mentioned under ACPI which is similar to SLi or nVidia. -
Finally a test between GTX 580m SLI - 6990m CF!
Oncemore from Notebookcheck.de, I put it in a translator.
http://translate.google.de/translat...LI-vs-Radeon-HD-6990M-CF.60161.0.html&act=url
Seems that GTX 580m SLI is the "winner" in performance, though it´s only about 5%.... when it comes to the price, it´s obvious that the 6990m CF wins... -
Larry@LPC-Digital Company Representative
The 6990M and in CrossfireX is now available in the Sager NP7282!
_ -
Other resellers such as ourselves are also shipping the 6990M on the X7200.

Guys, what about the sound problems I heard on this rig? Has there been a fix for the 5.1 channel built in to this monster. I find it a big disappointment in that regard. Even though plugin headphones will do the trick but still. Also, will this monster be supported for the next 5 years? I can see a successor coming up over the horizon, but that is another topic altogether.
ALPHA -
BIOS Support usually ends when the successor comes out.

Sager and resellers are having a $100.00 off a $1,500.00 purchase on Laptops...

u should pull that off
........and will see stock compound under that

Prompt please, my notebook clevo x7200 reboots arbitrarily irrespective of it will be is in bios or windows.... Your assumptions what can be??
I used on video cards the processor and a chipset coolaboratory pro. -
I guess it *could* be temperature related, but I would think it would power down, not reboot. If it was just rebooting in Windows, I would guess temps, but a reboot while in the BIOS? That is very strange.
Did you make any BIOS changes from the factory defaults? What would happen if those were reset?
Other ideas would all be hardware related:
May want to check your memory to make sure it is seated properly. If you have more than one memory chip, try pulling all but one and trying them out individually.
If you have multiple GPUs, what if you pulled one (or the other) and just tried a single GPU?
Finally, if someone can get you a loaner (or you have a spare) perhaps try a different CPU. -
All is true, the notebook doesn't reboot, and ungears a supply. And I also am inclined to think that it изза temperatures.... But also I do not reject idea in spoilage of spare parts. .....!!! I in the full affliction, on the dullness (((((has solved yesterday flashing bios (mine Clevo x7200 had version BIOS V 1.00.11), I have taken following steps:
1) I wanted in the beginning flash original bios Sager (1.01.11/EC 1.00.07SA2) and flash ONLY 1.00.07SA2, and flash itself 1.01.11/EC have forgotten
((((
2) further I flash Clevo x7200 SagerBIOS_728BV111S MOD.rar ( Clevo x7200 SagerBIOS_728BV111S MOD.rar)
3) the first start transits unsuccessfully (it is loaded nothing), we ungear, we include, has started to boot, we enter login and the password on the login account and a notebook hangs up! After it is made too most, there is a color picture, as a result a notebook starts to hang up in windows. Make decision to stitch it anew but on original bios clevo x7200.
4) I Begin Flash EC/KBC V 1.00.07 ( X72_1107.zip,
It is successfully fulfilled Step1,
But on Step2 the notebook hangs up ((((!!!!!!! At constant peep (beep). After that the notebook turnes on only with the black screen and further loading doesn't go. What to do? Who will help??? Whether is any at this notebook recovery mode? -
I think there is a translation issue at hand, as I do not fully understand what you have done with your machine. I'm not familiar with those BIOSs downloaded from mediafire, as I only use Clevo BIOSs. For Sager, it looks as if their latest release is 1.01.11/EC 1.00.07SA2.
Do you happen to know if you are flashing between Clevo and Sager BIOS? If so, STOP!! You do not want to be flashing between the different BIOSs. The warning on this thread's 1st post also applies to the x7200 - http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/416916-clevo-bios-thread.html
Also, it is unknown if that warning also applies to mixing and matching between a Clevo EC/KBC and a Sager BIOS (and vice-versa), but to be safe, I would recommend keeping these two portions synchronized. -
Yes I know that these two parts should be synchronous.
But I have simply missed it what now to do?
How it is possible to be recovered without serious consequences or to try?? -
Maybe others here can help!
Other than that, I don't have any ideas except to possibly contact your vendor for Tech Support. On the Clevo BIOS thread I posted above, perhaps you could also post a question there for help. pkhetan and Blacky have been helpful on that thread. Perhaps they can offer better advice. -
me need a Clevo x7200 Crisis Disk and him instruction.
-
I dont know of any clevo crisis disk....
-
Anthony@MALIBAL Company Representative
If you bricked the machine with a failed flash/bios upgrade (usually by switching from Sager > Clevo bios, or by just having a failed install) then there isn't a "crisis disk" to recover it. You'll have to talk to your retailer about an RMA for it. Sorry- there isn't much you can do on your end once it's been bricked
-
I dont know if a Sager -> Clevo BIOS would cause a issue, I have domne that at one time (not again though) He did state above he was useing
"2) further I flash Clevo x7200 SagerBIOS_728BV111S MOD.rar (Clevo x7200 SagerBIOS_728BV111S MOD.rar)"
which seems to be modded.....and well......playing with fire IMHO -
who have schema of mobo clevo x7200??
-
u know what a model and Serial Number of EEPROM placed on Clevo X7200? and where placed this on mobo, have a screen?
-
finally get the gf110 375 a1($60usd), factory ball, 11 batch.......gonna try it out
knocked a capacitor while removing its ihs
-
I flash my Clevo x7200 to KBC and general of Sager Bios but after that the notebook in Bios began to hang up.
Whether there is a decision of the given problem? -
a question are you using google translate ?
-
yes i used.
i another say:
I have hangup on X7200 with bios from Sager.
I took such steps:
1) burn cd with a bios from Sager 011
2) boot from cd
3) type EC
4) restart
5) type Bios
6) restart
7) set to default bios
Then I come in bios, I am in it throughout 10-15 seconds and I receive notebook hangup.
It as well in windows when it is loaded, in it is possible there are 20-30 seconds and there is a notebook hangup. -
I have used both bioses and no prob but i dont know every thing .
all my installs have bin thru USB and all modded via kizwan and only after upgrading or at the same time upgrading the EC and or folowing the steps recuaride sorry for my speling im swedish but you can find on one o my old post how to flash your bios and even with the newest modded bios -
try the steps on this link and down the soft in the other link

how is it going just woundering since i to have a old 480m card spare if this works i will kiss you
-
ohhhh....thx, but I already have made all. Simply when removed a thermospacer on the north-bridge hasn't noted that the heat sink not up to the end adjoins to it, and, therefore there were north-bridge overheating.
-
ha ha ha
+1rep and im
u really "kiss him" ?
this sounds goooooood
-
Google is doing a poor job translating this. Can you try BabelFish ( Yahoo! Babel Fish - Text Translation and Web Page Translation) to see if it is any better?
In any case, it looks like the problem is solved. You found a thermospacer on the north-bridge chip wasn't in place (or aligned correctly) causing your system to overheat.
So, at this point, has your x7200 stopped rebooting / locking up? -
IF i meet him face to face wai not
what he is doing krushes eny bounderis made for us laptop owners and if it works he is a HERO with in this comunety sorry for my speeling -
lol
resolder complete at workstation($30usd), cant wait to try it out
hope the gf10x bios compatible with gf11x core......if not........

moral hazard Notebook Nobel Laureate
@DGDXGDG, did you just turn a 480m into a 580m?
-
nope, just change its gf100 352sp core to a gf110 512sp full spec core......and add microcode into its bios to limit to 4*mc=256bit
gtx580m based on gf114 core -
moral hazard Notebook Nobel Laureate
Ok, but which graphics card is the gf110 core from?
-
My Clevo X7200 feels very good)))
